Not worth it. You can drop the phone and scratch that outside and it looks like crap now you have a 1400 dollar phone that looks like shit and still has less durability when it comes to dust and water and everyday use.
John Doe who said anything about fingerprints or a small scratch? I sure didn’t. When you constantly drop your phone it doesn’t cause tiny scratches it ca and will lead to big scuffs and your glass shattering. That’s what glass does.

Hello fresh need to pay more for that slick production smack bang in the middle of one of the biggest phone releases of the year. You’ve earned it Michael!
I have a anxiety attack when I see a fingerprint on the back of my phone now, let alone a big line running through the center of my display. A couple more years and maybe they will come up with a solution.
It's insanely slippery. I had it on top of a book cover today at the office and I watched it slowly slide off the book. I ordered a skin because I don't want to put the default case on that thing.
Right, people talk like that's a HUGE selling point. I grew up hauling Gameboys,ds',psps and suddenly smartphones and I'd rather have something tall but thin in my pocket than a chunky square.
Had my flip 1 week and so far loving it. Had to turn off the vibrations as first time it vibrated off my sofa .Wish it had DeX though .Thank you Samsung for bringing out a smaller phone those candy bars are getting so big and with my smaller hands just don't work I'm ok with the smaller front screen as I have my Galaxy watch anyway to check my messages WhatsApp etc. I'd rather have a bigger battery than a bigger front screen like the Razr bigger screen smaller battery .loving that it fits in the smallest pockets and bags and the purple pink colour is amazing 😘
Thank you for pointing out the Flip's strong points. A lot of people have asked me, "What's the point of a phone folding in like that?" I pointed out many of the things mentioned but they couldnt grasp what I was talking about. Since I dont have my phone even shipping yet, I'll point them to this video to show them what I'm talking about.
Is it me or does that purple colour look so good on this? I’m really disappointed that Samsung killed off the reflective glass colours. Grey just seems boring.
Yeah, sorry I'm one of those practical folk who's not on board with this one. If you ignore the fact that folding screens are cool, the main (and one of the only) factors that it boasts over flat phones is the ability to fit better in a pocket. And with the vast amount of compromises: no MicroSD, no S-pen, no DeX, screen that can be scratched by a fingernail, no IP rating, one mediocre speaker, and still a questionalble long-term durability status, I can't justify anywhere near its premium asking price. Looks like I'll be sticking with my Note9 indefinitely. But as always, happy to see the best review of it there will ever be. Keep up the outstanding work!
