That's rough, I hate to hear your having to change things up - Morher Nature sure has had an attitude lately. But you'll work though it, like us - we just find ways to work around the issues. Still worth it 😃 Great hearing from you, sorry we've been so quiet lately, but we're starting to catch up 😊
Raised beds are awesome ! I built a year ago with uncut logs but 32" high then you garden without hurting your back they are 4' wide & 10' long, Peas carrots beets all that stuff does great :) But back in July I built one for flowers square on two sides turned out great, I have the same mill as you works awesome ! but if you don't put at least one dog in to hold it when it's still round you will have a wreck believe me I've seen it happen in video a couple times" stay safe out there :)
These are working out so well, hoping to increase the height next season... And REALLY hoping that this little bit of effort now will help build up the whole area so we can avoid some of the water that stands in some areas. Thanks so much for stopping by 😊
@@HomesteadFresh I built mine i put plastic on the sides to make the logs last longer, The ones i built 10 years ago i didn't & they rotted but they did make gardening easy for that long :) I cut all the siding I'm putting on my cabin at the moment, I built a nice big mill shed so lot of room, If you have any questions feel free to ask :)
Will do! We plan to build one once we determine the final spot for it. Still have two acres we want to clear out, then we can start working on some permanence for padlocks and buildings 😃
Great use of your own material. That’s the life. Thank you
It works out so well when we can find a use for stuff 😁
