    And here i am planting bamboo in Tennessee as i want to harvest the bamboo for various projects and also have a nice a peaceful and cool bamboo grove.

      Lol - some love it, and it depends on the type... Clumping bamboo is great, it stays in place for the post part. What was planted here is known as a "creeping" type (also called "running" or "crawling") bamboo. This type starts and can spread over 25 miles if not stopped!
      But if you plant clumping, or have a way to contain bamboo, it really is beautiful, strong, and once cured - can last indefinitely. Not to mention, the shoots are such a treat for cows and goats 😃

    Yay. I know how much hard work you have put into this, even the amount of bamboo that was there on my visits was daunting and you had cleared a lot before that. Now ideally a shade loving pasture mix would be ideal to go through and reseed under the canopy you have left, maybe talk to the extension office about species that work well with silvopasture. So happy for you guys.
