    Nice effort guys, lol Shawna all gentle with her's and kick Jeff's.
    Never add sand to clay will make bricks, organic matter added in will be lots better. I hope you chased the ones in the ground, but if not may give you some starts for next years crop.

      @@HomesteadFresh sheet composting over the winter would have been ideal as far as the garden goes

    good video i think sweet potatoes like the same dirt as tobacco light grey dirt a grew some years ago that were huge and lots of them. i planted them in rows had the red, orange, yellow and white ones. very few people bed sweet potatoes now the ones i got mine from are dead. take care, be safe and well.

      Agreed, we are going to try the straw method next time. We should have mixed some sand in, but at least we learned what not to do - lol
