hi ryan i am interested in some drone doom/ambient music project right now and i wanna buy a good effect pedal,so i wanna buy this one or some reverb pedal like xvive maxverb,do you recommend a delay or a reverb pedal? for my first investment
i finally bought this pedal and it´s amazing,a large range of possibilities in it,perfect for what i have in mind,so no reverb? i like the behringer reverb, affordable and ryan made a nice video about it
@@nicolashunter4131 Now that you have a delay go for a reverb ! I think the delay + reverb is a must have if you wanna create some dreamy things. But it depends on your tastes ^^
yeah it´s what i want haha, but at the same time for the heavy parts of my music i wanna know how the delay+reverb can work with heavy distortion(slow sound like crowbar, neurosis, khanate, jesu) and create some dark and abysmal atmosphere
@@nicolashunter4131 I get it ! I think you could check songs like So Tired by Slowdive or bands by Les Discrets or Alcest which use heavy distorsions with massive reverbs ! They are more shoegazy / blackgaze bands but they could give you some crazy ideas ;)
I personally prefer the Echobrain.. But I love Analog Delays :) I really like how when you change the delay time on this it doesnt change the pitch of the previous delay.. you can make some cool glitchy sounds!! both are great :)
The Knight unlikely, these pedals were discontinued when TC took over Behringer. Tor redesigned a bunch of those Behringer pedals and made them sound better.
more stable than the echobrain when repeats are turned up. another ace upload.
Thanks Howard! :)
I just picked this up at my local GC for 31.99, cant wait to plug it in a play around. You can never have too many delays.
Sounds great Ryan! Thank you.
waiting on mine just ordered a couple days ago
Sold!
Amazing video
Best review,👍
Any chance of a Superego demo? Keep it up!
sure thing i'll film it asap :)

I would say buy a delay pedal first, then another one and stack them. It will sound dreamy and so ethereal !

Does this pedal do tape delay?
This is a digital delay :) TC electronic make a tape delay called "Gauss" which is in the same style as this pedal
this or echo brain in your opinion
