  • Ross Hauser, MD sits with a long-time friend of the clinic, Mark, to look at a new problem in his low back that may or may not be a Prolotherapy case. Dr. Hauser explains why it is important for patients to see providers who know when it is appropriate to order an MRI or other test, but also perform a good physical exam and not solely rely on MRI. To hear Mark tell his Prolotherapy story and hear more history on Caring Medical and the Beulah Land Ministries clinic that ran from 1994-2005, please check out our Caring Medical Florida Facebook page: / stemcellprolotherapy

This is exactly what I’m suffering from and literally I have been going through this since last year I never got into an accident or anything like that but I walk like that and I’ve lost feeling in my hands and a little bit in my right leg and I go to see finally a doctor on 4 November for my back pain and I can honestly say I’m scared shitless that she will end up telling me that it’s permanent damage and it can’t be fixed but I’m hoping for the best but thank God for this video because I’m a little bit more educated now thank you for sharing and letting us know what needs to be done and please keep in mind this has been a year long for me so it started when I was 24 I am now 25 I hope I haven’t let it go too long

If I take a bit long standing, my back pain gets work. So much that walking feels painful. Sometimes changing position or standing up from a chairs causes a lot pain.

The way my leg is hurting and my back, just seeing the way he grabbed his foot and leg made me cringe. But I respect these facts. Hopefully my pain will go away and hopefully I can walk out again.

I started getting low back pain and whenever I was holding anything that was a little heavy I had to put it down and I would sit down. The pain was really bad to the point showering was really painful but it would last about 2 weeks and then go until one time the pain has never gone and I can’t walk or stand without horrible pain. I even had to get a shower chair so I didn’t have to get out of the shower every few minutes. I have been to a chiropractor but that didn’t help too much. I am miserable and this has been so debilitating it’s just awful

    Okay?
I've just watched a video and learned that a Dr's "old friend" needs an MRI.

This is great! Be nice to see more recent stories too..keep doing the good work! I have a question. I have neuro symptoms with my severe instability but no serious pain. Has anyone encountered permament pain after prolo, perhaps after hitting a nerve?

Hi Tamara, Thank you for reaching out. It is not common for a nerve to be hit by a Prolotherapist who is skilled in anatomical landmarks and MSK ultrasound, but everyone's anatomy is unique and nerve irritation or injury is possible after any medical treatment, not just Prolo. It is possible with non-invasive treatments too. It is also possible due to degeneration occurring in the body while continuing to exercise or just live our daily lives in joints that are unstable. For instance, people can develop "sciatica" type pain, etc or other pinched/irritated nerve conditions due to joint instability in the lower back/SIJ. Please talk with the providers who you are dealing with to see what they recommend and tell them which nerves you are specifically concerned about so they can address that with you. If you would like our opinion on your case, feel free to reach out to us directly through our website, email, or phone. Wish you all the best in health!

My lower back hurts! Every time I stand up it hurts badly that it feels like I have to pick my legs up in order to walk. But I don’t, but it still hurts. I crack my back a lot and I use a massage gun.

Hi Imani W, Thanks for sharing. Yes, massage can be helpful, but when it is not resolving the issue and there are other signs of instability like cracking/popping/grinding of the spine, then it makes sense to look closer at how joint instability could be an important component to the case. If you would like our team to help you, we are happy to review your case in more detail. We wish you all the best in healing and getting to the root cause of your pain! Take care, Imani.

I am not able to bend myself forward. Its been 1 month I am suffering with this. Sir we cannot reach you at this condition. Please tell or recommend something from your reply please.
