I bought a brilliant silver e55 about 5 months ago bone stock. Blacked out the headlights like you did put the e63bumper on like you did just installed long tubes and wrapping it black myself. We have the exact same build I love it😂
I’ve been contemplating doing the e63 front end swap on my o3 e55 just not sure yet because I love a sleeper oem+ look, running long tubes, fbo, tcu and ecu tune as well, such an amazing ride.👍
cool vid looks great just a few questions, how did you remove the small circle badge on the grille so you could paint it and what exactly did u use to put the carbon lip onto the front bumper ? thanks
We appreciate it! The emblem was just held in by 3 little plastic prongs so just heat it up a bit and use a plastic tool to pry it up and off. Lip is held on by some self tappers and double sided tape
Actually yes. Just forced them into place and when i clamped the bumper to the fender it all came out nice. Kind of a pain to keep them all alined in order to clamp them down but it looks good now and it solid
Honestly no. It is a helluva lot of car for a 17-18 year old. Repairs are expensive and difficult to do yourself. I would recommend getting something cheaper and easier to work on and maintain and get an e55 a few years down the road when you get some experience or else you will probably end up putting it in a tree or ditch somewhere

Lol I have delt with those bumper clamps before on my e63. Absolute pain trying to get those off the first time. After that it becomes easier though

Did you end up running the bumper supports or no? I kept mine in and when i clamped them down back to the factory fenders they were fine.

The kit makes the whole front end a lot more aggressive. No they were from ecstuning. You can probably get new ones from the dealer though
I think the E63 grill is a bit bigger.

Once we actually got the metal tab brackets in tight it ended up lining up nicely. Try some wd40 on them
