SO NICE seeing a lady driving a muscle car ! I didn't want to touch early W211 due to its SBC braking system so I ended up getting W203. Did SBC create any issue for you?
looking to buy a cls 55 soon, im in love with the m113k cars. the pulley makes that whine SO satisfying. can't wait for the day I have a 55 car of my own.
@@heygirlsgarage100I would say delete those mufflers. The revving sounds well muffled lol but when you’re doing pulls it sounds better though. Idk I just have my mufflers deleted on my E550 & it sounds way better than before.
@@Dontgo2slow22 I’ve definitely thought about it, but these 55s get loud with headers and no mufflers. Not sure I want my car that loud 😅 currently it sounds really good under load.
@ fs true true, I just heard the revving & it didn’t sound as loud as I thought it should but once you got on the road it opened up. I suppose Ive been trying to get my E550 to sound LIKE a stock E55 😅. I’m thinking about deleting my resonator when I get my carbon fiber steering wheel put on Wed. I don’t rly care about drone & want it louder lol I think it’ll sound nice with the 5spd I just don’t want it to mess w/ anything & throw a code/light on the dash. But man, I’m jealous of yours & Heyboy’s E55s ! I still love my E550 & it’s nice bc it has 4matic 1 of the reasons I got it but I’d love an old AMG w/ 500hp. Either a W211 E55/63 or W219 CLS55/63. 🐆
im looking to get an E55 soon to upgrade from my clk500, or should i get a C63 amg? the e55 i think would be more reliable you know but that c63 sounds like a beast plus a little newer, probs would break more i might go with sleeper e55 amg.. does anyone else have any thoughts?
92mm tb and 76mm clutched pulley, unsure what heat exchangers you got but XL primary, secondary heat X with cwa100-2 or cwa100-3 pump hardwired to run key 2nd position, underhood tank and you can call it a day. Pandy55amg
I've had three of these, at 10K, drive them until they die. Swap over the eurocharged boltons. I do actually drive it like I stole it. Word of warning, get a mechanic friend who has a worldpac parts supply. You will constantly kill the rear air shocks. I am about that, 600+ wheel hp but like 800 lbft of torque. I run hoosier R7 slicks on the street (I live in Cali, constant drought, no rain) but flooring it puts a lot of pressure on the rear. With that mechanic buddy, Its about 220 per rear bosch shock. VS dealer, first born child. Have all these mods plus cat delete. It does stink but whatever. These are like going to warp on a freeway. It takes about a week to get used to. I jump it on farms (yes, we do farm) so I keep the air as it adjusts to almost 8 inches of ground clearance. I do run stock mufflers because no cop needs to look under the car and I registered it in Oregon under a corporation (literally like 250 total cost and no smog). Kudos young lady, these are fun. I think the HP is pretty much maxed for usable every day. With streets, you will break traction at 70 so for the love of all thats holy, do not turn the traction control off. I have run a 1:42 at Laguna Seca with this cow of a car and the irony is really why I do it.
Easiest way to clean and dress engine bay is tire foam. Sounds crazy but just try it. Also chemical Brothers products can be bought at Walmart and years of detailing and trying many different brands, Chemical Brothers hands down across the product like board prevails. Just my opinions though. Nice ride for sure. Aftermarket rims I would say as well
When it comes to exhaust, honestly, it sounds fine as it is. Especially if it's daily driver. If it was mine, I'd love it a little bit louder. Just to hear that deep V8 growl. :D
@@heygirlsgarage100 Oh man, you would luv it. It's truly superior on the highway, & It's the V12. Wish you were close enough to do "Benz stuff" with...ENJOY YOURS!!! 👍🏿👍🏿 😉😉😉
First mod I would do is a titling mod. Go over to your local DMV and sign the vehicle over to me 👍🏾 Lol but jokes aside, first you gotta fix the paint. Then, get rid of those amber side markers for clear LEDs. Then I’d do yellow or red brake calipers and finally wheels. Something that’s the same size but more aggressive. Maybe an 8 spoke design? This of course is assuming all the maintenance items are done.
😂 Paint is definitely high on my list of things to do! I actually really like these wheels. Haven’t decided if I’m gonna keep them or go with something different yet.
Probably won’t add pops and bangs since it is my daily, it would get annoying. It’s already catless with the longtube headers. It’s also already tuned. Not sure if you actually watched the video? Lol
I would never ever buy a german car from an american preowner. Nearly no one in the whole USA knows how to maintain AMGs. That's why Mercedes is always searching for german mechanics.
After 20 years what do you expect to be maintained to factory specs? New amgs are complicated. These older amgs are simple and so many people have documented their work so alot to grab from. From known techs to enthusiasts

I haven’t had any issues so far! I do think the dealership offers some kind of free lifetime repairs for it if you get a specific CEL and code.

Awesome Presentation, Nice pull! I am on my 3rd Black 06 CLS 55 all stock, but basically brought it back from life support.

Was this Tony's old one? Glad to see you in the 113K club, the Hey Family Garage is AMG strong ;)
😂💪🏼 Michael finally convinced me to get my own after constantly driving his 32 for a month 😂 but no this isn’t the one Tony had
@@heygirlsgarage100 yea they’re too much fun lol good job Michael 😂🤙🏼
Sounds a bit tame, but then again im comparing it to my c63 with LTH. Would be interested to know what it runs in the quarter mile with 600hp!
I honestly like the way it sounds. Not too loud but still sounds good when you step on it. It’s also my daily and I don’t want it crazy loud.
that sbc module looks like its seen better days, get that free repair!!
You bought an amazing machine. It's beautiful.
It's very much loved here in Balkans.
Balkan is in Eastern Europe. Slav countries. :)
If you're going to change the wheels, I recommend the SL65 wheels.
I’ll have to look up what those look like!

Currently on stock heat exchangers. Probably looking to upgrade that first.
what do you think is a good price for a 2006 e55 amg with 112k miles?
Honestly, a lot of factors can come into play. Could be a really big price range.

I actually already use tire cleaner to clean the engine bay! And mostly use chemical guy products as well. I just posted a video of me cleaning it up!
Too greasy. Your better off using an interior detailer that just cleans. Or just Windex
Style 3 amg wheels look better or the monochrome ones , gives the car a more refine look , specially staggered

Good question! I’ve actually never even ridden in an S-class 🤔

how much does w211 e55 amg's cost in the USA?
Prices honestly vary a lot! You can find some in rough shape for like $6k or super nice ones up to like $25k.
Change the ESL ( electronic steering lock) with a emulator....It will save you a lot of headache in the future.....Drive save
I’ll have to do some research on that!
Needs an E63 front bumper. and tail lights...
Catless exhaust and pops and bangs stage one tune

Do the E63 bumper conversion. It will look so clean 👌🏽
