Great video. I can't tell you the times the range personnel ask me about my position practice before I even put a pistol in my hand. Muscle memory. I find myself standing in the checkout line with my feet just like your colleague lol. Great work and demonstration. Semper Fi
definitely gonna try his foot placement i was shooting with my right foot forward today. may have been an amateur move for a right handed shooter. great video.
You're 100% right on. That's why I hate ranges that don't allow "rapid fire drills" or "double taps" Good thing the range I go to allows pretty much anything and i'm smack dab in the middle of liberal land lol
Any suggestions to fix low hits at times. I feel like my sight is level but something has to be off. Isosceles stance. At aim I am saying grip, aim, squeeze. More focus on grip and squeeze.
@@gregcooper2268 Not on Mickey's level but I am an instructor with about 50 years of shooting experience. It could be a few different things but my best guess is yanking or jumping on the trigger. Might also be grip related as you squeeze the trigger you are also gripping more with your fingers some call it milking the grip. more dry fire practice and rounds down range. Good luck keep shooting.
This is late for you but perhaps not for others. You can't squeeze a trigger. Because you are then squeezing with your whole hand. You don't squeeze a elevator button. You have to PRESS and isolate the trigger finger. PRESSing the trigger can help training your mind to only use as little pressure as needed.
I hear your voice but I see two guys with no facial hair... Where did you... Ooooh. Jokes aside thanks for the videos, unfortunately ranges aren't cheap here and I'm still trying to find out where I should go.
If you're being attacked, you do not have time to get in a stance. You should be moving anyhow. Stance also should not be a focal point in a defensive situation.
In the context of this video we are looking at the fundamentals of shooting well. You cannot learn to shoot running if you haven't first learned to get hits while stationary.
I always seem to break a sweat when I'm dry firing. It really is a workout trying to stay focused and practice what you need to do
Seth A shit, I thought I was the only one

Love your videos. Just bought my gf a firearm for defense. Your videos enable me to teach her the proper techniques. Thanks!

Where I should put my dominant foot? I’m front ?
Don't fall down. Do a mag dump and find what works for your body shape.

Stop moving the gun
I mainly shoot by myself. In most cases is movement reacting to the shot. Or flinching? Or movement due to improper stance?
