He has a beautiful voice but Cornell does sound different. Vincent's voice is a tenor while Cornell is a baritone.

Mostly sounds like M. Shadows giving a Cornell treatment to a song. Has this dude done any Avenged Sevenfold covers? I’d imagine he’d nail it
@@BC08 He has. He sounded nothing like M. Shadows on them. Shadows' voice is placed lower, darker, and he uses a lot more nasal resonance. The belt at the end here did sound close to him, but in general his voice is closer to Chris' than Matt's and that distortion was just particularly gritty.
@@chrismeadows4216 Tonally, I don’t think he is closer to Cornell than Shadows at all. He is doing a Cornell style interpretation here so he covering a lot more than Shadows does in for most of the song, but that compressed mix sounds a lot like Shadows here. A lot .
This is beyond a cover, this is a complete soul transference. If Chris could of saw this he would just smirk knowing he'd be off the hook for having to cover it. Even in just the first verse, exact same rugged and melancholic delivery/ tone.

I would've suggested doing the song in the style of all Bond singers (there are 20) but you know what, this is perfect. You Know My Name is the best Bond song period.

NARKISDUDE she would take to a new... incredibly boring level. This version imo is so much better than the original because it’s got some drama, passion and power rather than the white bread whisper falsetto stuff that Billie can’t seem to stay away from.

Stephanie Ann You probably won’t read this because of its length. But just for you I went out and listened to every single Billie Eilish song. No time to die is above and beyond her most “belty” song. Which songs should I be listening to? Because again, I’ve listened to all of them. My favourite so far is ‘you should see me in a crown’ because she goes a bit bigger in that one. ‘Six feet under’ is slightly beltier, but she transitions to falsetto before her actual voice comes out. ‘Hostage my and ‘watch’ off of her first album both demonstrate her mid range, which I enjoy, but everything else on both of her lp’s are at least 50-60 percent breathy falsetto, with the remainder being straight up breathy singing. I honestly think she is a very good singer, but her songs are doing her a major disservice in my eyes.
If Chris was still alive and he covered this song, this is exactly how I’d imagine it to sound. If you close your eyes you might even think it WAS him. Great job 🙌🏾.
