50 thousand dollars 😳 I feel like these tiny trailers should be around 10-15 thousand tops make them affordable for everyone 🥺
I agree this would be the PERFECT camper trailer for one to travel out west on but NOT no $50,000 dollar trailer PERFECT !!!!
could buy a lot of hotel stays for that money. I like camping, but I don't want to pay more for it than a nice hotel.
That's still below what Airstream is charging for their BaseCamp. And the Barefoot doesn't feel like you're camping in a stainless steel ER room.
@@tomm1109 I could turn my 94 Chevy K1500 pickup bed into a nice livable quarters with a new camper shell and well insulated with a nice butane heater and sleeping cot with pad and indoor/outdoor shag carpeting for well under $5000 dollars and be a lot more cozy and comfortable saving all that other $$$$
everything today is costly, i agree. i bought my 1st solid state apache pop up in 1977. it had tinted windows , AC and was in mint condition, it cost me 4.000 dollars. poor people today cannot afford anything of value and inflation will only get worse. camping with the family is just a past memory, but we really enjoyed those days.
I have only dreamed of having one of these for about 4 yrs! I was totally heart-broken when informed they only sold in England. Now I'm heart-broken because I won't be able to afford one. JUST LOVE THIS ONE!!!!
ditto
Same thing here
@@WinWin26306 I went ahead and bought a new
R-pod by Forest River. 22', full dry bath, kitchen, bedroom, full awning, solar, etc.. for just $23k... I like the idea of the tiny camper, but that tiny camper shouldn't be more expensive than much larger and better products.
@@JimboInTheHouse1 quality...those cheap trailer start falling apart within the first 5-10 years of owning them. These and airstreams are known for lasting 50+ years. You can't compare the quality and the prices reflect that
@@Txjeepgirl361 that's because they have nothing in or on them to fall apart 😂
I drank every time PJ said, “for a trailer this size” and now I’m sloshed
🤣🤣🤣
I know you're joking but she has to be one of the best in showing campers. She explains everything and honest.
😂😂😂
🤪😄😜
HAHAHAHA
The price is ridiculous for such a small camper, I paid less than that for a new fifth wheel 😮
Yes, but your cardboard trailer will shake itself apart and leak in no time.
@@hotpuppy1 mine won't I got a brand new 2022 sonic 220vbh fiberglass and auto leveling, 4600lb tow 480 hitch weight. 25k WITH hitching and sway, 7 way hookup and brake controller.
Fifth wheels are something no one wants anymore. Ok they just aren't as popular so those have a drop in price.
Still cheaper than having to buy a brand new giant tow vehicle🤷🏽
So I have to buy a 50k truck to buy a 5th wheeler.
I’m in love with the design! I started dreamin of trips to see my kids with my little dog. Then I found out how much they’re charging😮!! Popped my baloon🫤!
Yes, I was getting excited...then I saw the price. If I had 50k I'd get a house.
@@miapdx503 Yeah, 50 g's is absurd.. Wow ! A full cabinet ! No, the trailer is a cabinet.
@@miapdx503 I saw it listed now for just under $55 grand. I bought a fully equipped hightop van about ten years ago...brand new for that price. I cannot wrap my head around the prices these days.
This would fit me perfectly.....if it wasn't so expensive. It's exactly what I've been looking for, but I cannot justify 50K.
That price tag is giving me more incentive to fit out my Brenderup horse trailer with an RV build.
Love this. I would buy it in a heartbeat. As a single older woman this is perfect.
Same here! But someone said $50,000. That’s a bit steep.
Same, but the price is ridiculous.
50k is ridiculous!
Rose, you would by this in a heartbeat at $50,000 Be my guest. You're getting ripped off.
@Spike16 yes ! I Have 16f. Scamp that feet me very well.
I love the retro styling and color scheme here. A lot of classic nuCamp features, but the wine rack surprised me! I would probably keep some sodas there. I can just imagine myself in this cute little camper one day. ❤
Pricing on these small pull trailers are outrageous.
They are catering to a whole new crowd of campers and as it goes : How much is it worth? - Whatever people are willing to pay. So, they have a customer. I would love something like this but not for that price because you have to add to it all the other stuff like insurance and the cost to rv these days.
Are they customizable? So is it cheaper without a kitchenette or a bathroom? Or without electricity? 😅 @@esterdrass4964
I think this is a good cute little trailer for 1 short person lol very cute!
I really like the styling of those retro styled trailers...but not for $50k. I could get a larger Jayco that could be a full-time rv for half the price.
It has a bathroom ! It's adorable ! And has everything one could need. Well done !
Nice little camper. One thing it needs, a protective removable cover for the front window. Won’t take many trips to begin pitting the acrylic window.
very good point
That big window at the back would make a great escape window. They made this one that won't open. The best campers have an escape window that is usually big enough for a child or someone wanting to escape desperately.
@@bookbakery One of those long windows on the side is an Emergency window.
Excellent presentation of a really well thought out camper. Thank you.
@@bookbakerydid you not see the other opening windows 2 feet away from the bed?
I don’t care what the negative people say I think it’s cute ☺️ I am also 5-0, so it would work for a mobile office for me! And I wouldn’t have to get another tow vehicle because my SUV could tow it no problem. It’s still economical for me in that regard
Very cute, but did I miss a tv and sound system? And the price! To much for me! 😢
Looks like a Barbie Doll's camper
Have you try having Sex inside tiny camper...?
I love it and colors... Be great, for short people. Could ya make one for 6 foot 5 inches? A Wine rack? But No TV? Anyone who has ever pulled a trailer knows it would be safer with tandem wheels. Then it might be worth 20 thousand.
Very cute small RV! Perfect for one person! The only thing I don't like is the non-standard size propane tanks.
I like the small tanks as the 20 pounders are too heavy for me.
*this retro feel is my style & baths are ALWAYS the sell for me. that bath is like an airline toilet. perfect!!!* 🚽🧼🚿
I love this! Of course I’m about 5’2” so it’s my perfect fit. Perfect for me to bond with one grandchild at a time.
It’s the prettiest trailer I have ever seen I would pay 30000 USD for it.
Outrageous price
Absolutely lovely. The color is so cheerful and the way nüCamp uses it inside drawers, etc. just ties everything together. Very thoughtfully designed!
Love it! Too pricey for my pockets, though. Love the bathroom, kitchen, and overall style.
Love this! Wish you would add an option to eliminate the banquet seating, and have more flexible use of space.
This is going to be pricey. I mean really pricey. A TAB 400 runs well over 40K now. Figure this will go well past 50K. Pretty hard to swallow for the size. But I like the euro caravan style and the build quality will be very good as most nu camps are. Also remember PJ makes these little campers look big because she is a tiny person. Like looking in the rear view mirror the objects seem further away then they really are.
They've already said the MSRP is mid to upper $40s
just saw a price earlier today somewhere else and it was $47.5K USD. Not sure of the accuracy though?
The sale price and the MSRP can be found in the video description with other useful specs and details!
@@PrincessCraft Well I was not far off the mark was I? 48,995. Pretty crazy. nuCamp should have could have put this out earlier. The RV market is starting to tank. But during the pandemic fools would have probably paid these silly prices. Its going to be a hard sell now going into a recession IMO.
@@HiPlains1 I agree.
it is 100% my cup of tea
I think the storage cabinet by the front door should open the opposite way, it's awkward the way it is. The front door should have a small window that can open with a bug screen to make it feel bigger inside and a bug screen if you want to leave the front door open. That big window in the front should be able to open. The bathroom needs the ability to hang a plastic shower curtain to keep everything dry, especially that heater by the floor, that would have me nervous all the time and the bathroom window should have a pull down bug screen. Other than that, it's a beautiful little rv, but it's too expensive.
Love what I see. The presenter described the product thoroughly and interestingly.
I was really wanting to see the bed fully set up 😅
Fish swimming in a round aquarium - go crazy. People, getting into such an object, will also be
Crazy price
A electric tea kettle boils water in minutes and one can make oatmeal, soups, tea, coffee and even use two bins to wask dishes outside with one heated water from tea kettle. Instant Pot boils water very fast as well and cooks many meals.
They could put two bunks instead of the bathroom. Use an outdoor bathroom/shower tent. It is a nice unit. Reminds me of a Scamp.
With a scamp being about a third of the cost. I enjoy Euro/Retro Style, but if this trailer is 50K, I might as well buy an airstream Bambi used.
I am so happy that you did this review.. I had my fingers crossed
I want a pink one 🥰
Another brilliant walkthrough. This trailer is special!
It is!!! It’s very unique!
I am 4’ 9”, so I think I should get a job being a spokesperson for trailers like this!
You do a great job reviewing these trailers. I’m a fan!!
I'm sure more models will bring solar and the nucamp screen door, but for the price... I'm not so sure. Also, the storage around the camper has nothing to block everything from falling out while traveling. I know that's an easy fix but for the price, you'd think it'd be taken care of already. Tab 400 2023 model is still my favorite design thus far.
This model has the portable solar but not the roof mounted. The curves make that more difficult. And the storage is more substantial in The 400 for sure!
@Princess Craft PJ you're the best and your walk through tours are my favorite. Thank you for being you
This is so good for its size thank you .
You’re welcome 😊
I love it! Probably not so much for living in, but for just periodic or even frequent travel, it looks great! 😍👍
There are very similar campers like this available in Australia for around 40-50k (usually) but that price includes all the optional extras like air con, wall-fitted fan, telly, solar roof panels, microwave, awning or annexe and a few other things. Definitely worth it as they’re so durable and well-made, but not cheap.
Beautiful Cinderella Egg Shape Camper I ❤Love It. Thank You Beautiful Well Job Done Demo...❤
This is a cute unit, but…. Missing awning option, screen door, solar panel, etc. Can see light at point of seal around door. Door on cabinet over counter top requires removing everything on counter to open. Also, lower small cabinet at entrance should be a door less cubby for quickly stuffing shoes. Meanwhile overhead open cubbies would from having a bungee to stop things falling. By comparison Tab 320 seems to have more time tested functionality.
Really love it, but I'm a 5'9" female, and will probably feel super cramped. That aside, it looks great!🚞
I'm a 5'5" female, which is too short for me.
Nice camper, but way over my budget. I'll just have to stick with my $16K Coleman 18 ft trailer.
love it. i could see me in this. love the color. imagine if they made it a few more feet bigger.
Now these have been on the market awhile, I'm seeing them priced in the low 40s and a couple in the high 30s.
Such a cute camper. Love it
Great presentation... yes it feels big inside.
I just love this tiny but big camper.
Me too! And it’s great for a quick adventure!
This trailer is definitely MY cup of tea! I LOVE the light blue and white color scheme and the oval egg shape! All the features except the propane stove are perfect for me! I would want a convection cooktop and nothing but electric appliances, otherwise this trailer meets more of my needs than any other tiny trailer I have seen! A woman alone can handle this one, I think. My congratulations to the designer for a well designed project! Sure wish this poor old widow woman could afford one!
Same here Lola. Same here...😔
Thank you, PJ love your presentations
I don't think there is another person on UA-cam that compares to you on showing campers. Great job I always like watching, you know everything anyone would need to know.
She's good, but have you seen the leisure van guy?
Too much jibber jabber and like schooling idiots. She’s terrible!
You always do such a nice job on these PJ
She does do an excellent job!
She's GOOD!
Thank you for showing us the inside first!
I'm so glad you are giving this tour. You always do the best job.
Expensive, but then they are really well made!! I saw that someone thought the rig should be 15,000 max, I say, on what planet??
Those prices don’t exist in 2023, if he wants to just pay 15,000 then he needs to buy a used one.
The rig looks like it will last for a future generation of family owners, 50,000 is worth it if you look at it that way.
Thanks for all you do in your channel, you’re well spoken and not bad on the eyes!! Lol😂.
This is Alan, GREETINGS from Riverside in Southern California.
Beautiful. Been waiting for this! Perfect for Mr and Mrs T but out of our price range.
I love the look. It has a feel like the 50s and a cartoon (no offense) look to it. I really like it.
Very cool trailer and you did a great walk around
Beautiful, but ridiculous high price is a deal killer. Crazy!
The best thing about this camp rv is the cute bathroom ❤ in most of the hand built or manufactured RV in the similar size don't have a bathroom or a toilet ,this is a beautiful RV thanks for the tour ❤🙏🙋♀️
¡ Hermoso remolque!
Should have pull-down screens for the windows and a window in the door so you can see who’s there..also cabinet/ closet doors should swing the other way in the doorway because they swing into you when they open them and unless you are rail thin, you’re going to have to go outside to be able to reach inside the cabinets..and for that kind of money:a small oven! ..but I still love it!!
Windows do have pull down screens.
New goal unlocked.
I really like the aerodynamic style of this camper - especially in the back. Many campers have a squared-off rear end, and that increases drag. I like how in such a small camper, it has a bath and toilet too, as well as a fridge. Very impressive. Gonna check the price. I could pull this with my car ....
$48,995
The price makes it a pipe dream for me...😒
There isn't enough drag on a trailer compared to tow weight to make a difference. This unit is heavy for it's size. I have a 27ft with full bathroom that only weighs 4500 and only 480 at the hitch. It has a rounded front but square back.
@@herbalnedtv that's just stupid 😂 twice as much as I paid for my brand new 27fter
I Went Thru This In Kent County...It Is So Adorable And I Was surprised Of So Much Space....Also I Despise Campers My Opinion ...
BUT THE BAREFOOT IS A MUST...IF ANY LOOKING FOR CAMPER CHECK OUT THE BAREFOOR. GOD BLESS YOU ALL❤
It's adorable, and I love nuCamp, but I would check out the Armadillo out of Canada (even though I'm in the US) - half the price... and nearly as cute!
It's cute, but i think I'll like my camper better when im finally done renovating it !
I would 100% buy this if it had a back hatch! That is the only thing missing in this beautiful camper. Feel like it would also justify the high price tag 😅
What a lovely and informational video. Thanks PJ!
My pleasure!
Very nice
Solar hook up great, but where's the battery 🔋 🤔 for it???
Small, neat with a toilet and bath, and everything that you need for comfort while camping out. You can live in this too. My kind of RV.
It’s awesome, I’m going to check my FTX account…
LOL, for what it's worth.
SBF has a few
🤣
Awesome mini trailer, but WAY too expensive 😢
Thank you, love the storage over my 320s. It's funny how she chides the velcro when the 320s uses that. They did a great job! Yahoo PJ and nucamp!
About to buy a 320s. Already see the storage issue and plan on using bathroom for closet and pull stuff out if shower needs to be used. Also boondock version for more storage outside. What are the other big cons you found owning it?
@@h82fail Umm..there is no cons-it's a high quality trailer. I think where cons come up is where there would be different value systems or needs for the trailer. For example, I would like to take longer trips and stay places longer but with this trailer that would be tricky (especially with my doberman). There just isn't a lot of space inside to "relax" or "work" or really have access to a lot of your stuff you may need. It's a mental shift and a work in progress to dial in what you use and find a way to stash it in this little trailer AND be OK with not having as much as a bigger trailer or the way you live at home. You can solve some of that with bins stored in your truck. AH I have a con, there is no awning. I think with nice weather any relaxing you want to do is ideally outside, so look for shady spots and perhaps look at some of the after market awnings (I didn't do this because I don't want the set-up). Hope that helps!
@@jillkismet1503 Thanks for the reply. I am actually upgrading from tent camping. So my storage is going way up. My favorite camping is off the grid / I keep looking at overland trailer but they cost as much as an airstream without the resale value and the SO would not be having fun - at least the 320s somewhat feels like a house. Shopped around got a quote for a 2023 10k off msrp for one on the lot, but scared to pull the trigger.
@@h82fail Yeah-they are a lot. It is one of the highest quality units where you can sit in air conditioning, heat, take a shower, use a restroom, make a meal in driving rain/wind/etc and its easy to pull. That was necessary for me-but may not be for you. You can also do that for less expensive units that may be a bit bigger (not really sure of the market today)-my first unit was bigger and cheaply made for just 17k. I think really the determining factor is use. Calculate out trips with cost and get it down to night per cost over a few years (napkin math) and say is it worth it to pay X/per night for camping with a 320s. If not, don't give up, look for a used 320 or something else. A lot of people think they are going to camp a lot but they don't. And then there mad they are paying on it, etc. But you will figure out what's right for you!😉
Very Good! I did find it funny when she talked about the snaps on the cushions instead of Velcro. With other companies using Velcro …. Which is also Nucamp. But they do last and easy to replace if needed. But the snaps in this trailer does add to the
quality and nostalgia that it’s going for.
Definetly like it.
Waoooo mashallah zabardast im from Pakistan Islamabad ❤
What a great trailer and at a wonderful and affordable price.
Aaaw right! Love your videos PJ!
I LOVE it just as it is! Perfect for me and so simple to operate an old lady can do it by herself! Don’t know why I love the egg shape! Kind of like returning to the womb?
I would be impressed to see a camper with a big closet with plenty of storage. I would never buy a camper that cost $50,000.00.
Shop it vs Oliver. All of a sudden, not so bad.
I have seen the UK version a couple of times. I follow one person in the UK who reviews a lot of models across the big pond. We were at the factory for a tour in April seen a couple on the production floor. Really nice looking unit . However, I’m in no hurry to trade my 2022 tab 400. There’s a big RV show next month in Kansas City maybe they will have on there. Thanks for a great review.
Scott are you liking your TAB 400
C'est plus grand à l'intérieur qu'à l'extérieur. Ce camping-car est vraiment chouette. Les matériaux ont l'air de qualité. Mais il est quand même très cher.
Cute trailer but I think I will stick with a micro minnie .
Look at runaway brand campers made in florida. Light weight and reasonable price. You make it your own. I call mine my air-conditioned locking hardsided tent lol. Everyone builds them out different so they're totally customized
I'm in love!❤
OMG my brothers would roll this thing over a hill if I were ever to sleep overnight in this rolypoly lollipop!
Great presentation PJ! Knowing that Barefoot is manufactured by Nu Camp; personally I still prefer the T@b400 over this. Just curious though, do you have a choice on the exterior color options? It kinda looks like sea foam easter egg 😂 .
Like most things this will be perfect for some and utterly wrong for others. I like that is has an incognito ac system. If I were to camp alone with out hubby I would be saving my dimes and have a ball camping out of that sweet little trailer.
Presentation was over-the-top! Well done!
You can tell a woman designed this RV. Everything is clutter free, lots of storage bins, easy access, soft lines, and not too many gadgets. There is no microwave too. This is perfect for a Tiktoker or an influencer who can't get a room at Palm Springs for Burning Man.
I love this, but that price is crazy!
Gorgeous
