That's the kind I just bought. How did it turn out and what do you think? My hair is medium dark brown so I'm hoping it turns out okay. Fingers crossed!
I got the double lift rhythm &blues. My hair is ready blue. Will it still be blue or will it make it black. 🤔 I love my dark blue hair. I don't want it black or darker
I just used this plum siren and I have medium to dark brown hair and I'm horrified now ....I thought it was going to turn out more of a plum burgundy 🙄 😕 😒 instead I got a bright red and it's not what I was looking for maybe I should of did some research first....but to late now....does anyone know how or if I can color my hair back to my original dark brown color???? Please help 🙏
Hi! Yes please send us an email along with photos of your before and after so we can see what you're describing; we will also absolutely find you a solution: customercare@splathaircolor.com
I have medium brown hair and I used the violet. My hair also came out redder than purple. Well, I would say Magenta in bright sunlight, reddish indoors. It is kind of a purple-pink color.
The written directions that come in the box say to apply color to the new growth (roots) first, and leave on for 15 minutes, then to apply to mid length to ends. So, the opposite of the instructions in this official brand video. Which way is better?
Your roots develop faster than your mids and ends. The closer you get to your head the warmer. I would recommend following this video exactly. Warmth causes color and bleach to develop fast and in the salon they work from mid to ends and then roots.
I died my hair black about 2+ years ago went dark brown and I dyed it dark burgundy but need to touch it up u think I’ll get this color if I dye it again? First time using this hair dye!
How do you remove this specific dye from hair? I didn't get the end result I wanted. What I got is a pretty color, but not the final result i was shooting for. I refuse to bleach my hair. I spoke to several professional hair-dresses, and they said bleach doesn't always work. I have been able to fade it somewhat using clarifying shampoo and dandruff shampoo on alternating days, but the remains of the color won't budge. I have tried a store-bought color remover (as opposed to a DIY version), and that did nothing. Any advice you can give me on removing what is left of the color?
I'm following. I just always matched my natural hair as close as I could get it with store bought box dye and let my natural hair grow through and let it rest and get trims as it grows out
Are these free of ammonia and other yuck? Do they smell like original splat ( fruity kinda scent) or do they smell like typical hair dye (chemical smell)??
I just bought this and haven't used it yet. I got the plum siren. I have bleached hair but have a pinkish redish color that faded out. It was red but it was a simi permanent I had on my Hair. Can I still get the same color uf my hair is lightened underneath already? I have about 3 inches or more of dark roots and lighter ends.
Hi! Thank you for reaching out. Our Double-Lift is actually not recommended on previously processed hair because it may cause breakage. This formula is recommended for virgin hair. We would recommend using our naturals formula since it has Baobab seed oil which conditions your hair. :) If you need any further assistance please email us at customercare@splathaircolor.com
@@deanamullins5460 Hi, we do not recommend our Double Lift collection for gray hair because it's a double process color that lifts and deposits color. If there is no color for it to lift, you could possibly end up with very unexpected results. However, we would recommend starting with our Naturals collection or Midnights collection to cover gray hair.
Hi- our Double-Lift formula is great for level 4 and higher. Double-lift is a double process color and it is recommended for hair that has not been processed so it would not be good on hair that has been bleached. Please email us at customercare@splathaircolor.com with a picture of your current hair as well as your desired hair so we can assist you on which formula would be best for you! 😊
@@SplatHairDyes Hi, quick question here; i dyed my hair with the purple double-lift dye with level 4 hair. When it begins to fade, will my hair fade back to the color it was before, or will it be lighter? Thanks.
They have other dyes for that by Splat. Double Lift is made purposely for dark hair and a non bleach formula so it may fuck up the color if you try it. you never know.
I guess it may build up pressure if you don't cut the cap off in time after shaking everything together? I honestly thing it would be a lot less messy to dump it all in a bowl and dip hands in bowl than trying to squeeze a bottle of dye with dye all over your hands and have to put it down and pick it back up.
@@bethpmills it never does that. And kind of silly to think about since you’re covering the hole with your finger anyway. No being rude I just thought it was dumb too 😅
@@andS7 I understand lol I just remember the bleach it told you to cut the tip off before shaking or pressure may build up if you don't cut the tip fast enough you can remove your finger faster than cuttingthe cap off. Just thought it would have peroxide or some type of Lightner in it maybe all my dyes don't have to cut the caps off of so I'm the dumb one lol. Just to add just think it would be so much easier to put everything in a dye bowl and mix with a dye brush and then apply instead of trying to squeeze all the dye onto hair from the bottle looks more of a mess.
Just dyed my daughters hair with the purple it looks gorgeous
I just got the Iconic Red! Can't wait! I love all the Splat colors 😍
Yessss! It's going to look AMAZING! 😍

They should do the same video but with the green
I have bleached white hair and bought this. Rip wish me luck and pray all my hair doesn’t fall out
I have dyed black hair. Will this show up like it shows on the darkest color on the box? I dyed my hair black like 4 months ago

Does it bleach the hair with the double lift or no
Can you do the purple one please

Purple came out red 🤷♀️ I’m like a rich chestnut right now

honestly kind of a mix, the box says that it has an added fruity scent but i could still smell ammonia in the color cream.

That’s should be iconic red instead siren plum one cause it’s more darker. Or I don’t t know what was the model natural hair
Iconic Red is more of a warm red and Plum Siren has a purplish undertone but they do look similar on the model! :)
I got green hopefully it works. 😎
did it work?
