@@-kay-7967 I use bleach & a smaller brush. You gotta take some time to pick out each hair. Maybe get someone to help for the back and hope they follow the previous guide.

@@giselles2187 def don't! the style is already out and honestly it burned my hair and I've been having some major hair loss after 💔 if you'd still like to dye ur hair maybe try something that you don't have to dye at the roots, maybe the hair-ends dye hairstyle could be cool? but yeah def not sure if this was worth it! my hair was really light brown with highlights after this and I honestly didn't feel grate ngl, I dyed my hair back to the original color, and felt better!
How should I wash out the bleach and hair dye with out it bleeding?? Or does it not matter if I wash it out fast enough?? Plz reply I'm doing my hair tmr! ♡
i’m sure it’s too late now but for anyone else who needs to know: try washing in cold water that will help with bleeding also taking the foils out bottom to top and rinsing as you go so you have a bit more control and the darker dye won’t bleed down, i would also say rinse out the darker pieces first so the foils can still protect the lighter pieces it shouldn’t effect it too much since a semi/permanent color takes time to develop but if you’re using a non permanent dye it could possibly stain the lightened pieces so just be careful and have fun!!
i have a full head of blonde hair right now and i want to do this so all i need to do is dye the dark parts, but how can i rinse it out without the colour bleeding everywhere?
This is veryyyy difficult to do at home, especially on your own. If you are picky and don’t like any color getting on the blonde at all, or vice versa with the bleach it’s not for you lol

I've been doing chunky highlights in my hair for years lol but the struggle i'm dealing with right now is my colorist isn't foiling close enough to my hairline especially on the top and sides giving me horrible 2"+ deformacation lines and a stark looking hairline which looks awful when I pull my hair back since I have a heart shaped face and widow's peak. How do I tell her to fix and blend it more? Just had my hair done again yesterday and absolutely hate how it looks pulled back and some of the blonde looks brassy with a yellowish orange tinch at the roots? Will toner pull that out?
Can u do this but with black hair with chunky silver highlights but more dark roots especially on top so more highlights in the hair if I know what I mean?😅
Americans need to go Asia to learn coloring. None of the salons I been here is able to give the result of what Asians city is able to give. They are able to achieve a beautiful light brown with just one time visit. Here, its like they told you 30 mins of things, and mess up 1/2 of the time or give 1/2 or nothing or opposite of what I wanted .
I wish you live where I live I would pay you to do My hair I just went to the hair salon to get this same exact look and I Got nothing even close! and I paid her 350 🤦🏼♀️ I wanted this look for years and I decided to get it done and Not getting what I paid for I’m so sad because I didn’t get My 90’s look! 💔💔🥹😭🤦🏼♀️

I was able to do it but i did it alone so it took me 2 days to finish the first session of bleaching (the prep was the most time consuming, tying and parting my hair in front of two adjacent mirrors) and IMAGINE how stressful it was to do the 2nd session bec only a specific portions of my hair were bleached. But nevertheless, the result is *chef's kiss* (i also dyed it pink). T'was so worth it! I look suoer cool and unique and many people were curious as to what i did. But after 4 months tho, i had to color it back to black because the roots started showing and again, rebleaching it is v hassle and it started to look messy. Overall: 9/10 would recommend! (For your sake and sanity, please make sure that you have someone to assist you while doing this)

Rinsing the dye out with **cold** water should prevent the color from bleeding into the lighter parts.

It's so challenging to do this on my own hair I keep accidentally mixing the colors together at the root. And then it looks funky.
I like it I just wish that the darker sections were slightly narrower than the lighter. I also wish the lighter sections were a bit more ashy.

How do you rinse without the dark color touching the lighter part and darkening it?

for some reason when i try to use foil it like slips off of my hair so easily :( i can’t get it to just hang there like when she did the first row
Apply a thin layer of the bleach to the foil then put the hair on top. It will give the hair something to stick to
More product is always a good fix to a slippery foil

Are the top of the Mohawk section one color slices? You demonstrated a weave on the first back section of the Mohawk, but the rest look like slices.
