I had a really hard day yesterday, a lot of my own weakness came to the surface and I had to see it for what it was. I went in my prayer room and asked God to lead me to something he could say in my brokenness. I chose a random page in my devotional and came across a study of Ps. 51:17. For today’s message to be on weakness and the power in it, just strengthens my belief in an all knowing God who stays.

Omg God is definitely trying to talk to me, I literally had a mental break down yesterday stressing over not having a job , low finances, college etc. And when he said be strong in the lord I just remembered how God comforted me yesterday after I broke down and called out to him and I’m just 🤯😭.
I don’t understand how some people don’t believe in God. Because he’s the only one Ik who can sends an encouraging message through a willing vessel (in this case Pastor Mike) that you’ve never met, don’t know nor is physically there with them. But still you get the message and your faith is renewed and you are uplifted.
I’m forever grateful for the day I decided to walk with the lord cause I have no idea how I’d cope without him. He says our strength lies in Him and trust me he wasn’t lying. He’s the only one that can give us strength when we’re suicidal, when we feel like giving up and when we have no one to turn to. And because he loves me soo much I have no choice but to love my God back.

I’ve been in Lo Debar these last couple of years ... in this sermon confirmed and helped me realize it’s time to come out and admit my weakness: gluttony.
God’s calling me to do more and bring me into a new season of blessings but my rationalization has CRIPPLED the vision.
God gave one instruction: “Get to 180lbs because you have too much weight on yourself (relying on myself) and I need to you put that in me instead ( depend on Him).”
Right now I’m 193lbs... pray that I don’t turn back and keep my eyes on God.
Good job! Take it one pound at a time.
I’m weak in my faith, anger, bitterness, unforgiveness and confidence. I’m weak in my marriage (fault finding, keeping records of wrongs, quick to anger and quick to speak but always slow to listen). Transparent for 2020 is causing me to work on me first

You may be weak now, but you're getting stronger. The fact that you admitted your weakness, means that you're getting stronger. Confession: Sometime I punish my children out of anger and I justify it because it not as harsh as I got it, growing up. I'm letting God deal with my anger this year.

This message reminds me of the story of "Achilles heel".
Achilles was very strong in battle but he had a weakness and there was no armor covering his weakness(heel) and so was defeated finally.
I can understand because I'm recovering from a Achilles rupture.
Let me just say I have been dealing with a lot lately. I've been going through the motions, and just hoping for things to get better. And I went to church as I always do. The Holy Spirit lead my Pastor to come pray over me while I was in the middle of singing praise and worship and I just fell out crying. People started coming prophesying to me while I was in the midst of my praise that what the devil thought he weakened, God took over and strengthened. and I was lead to get prayer. I got prayer for strength and it was powerful. And now this morning I see this notification pop up. I am just in awe at what God is doing in my life rn at such a young age. God is good !

The head worship leader at my church was coming up against me for 7 years trying to get me to quit. She had a heavy Jezebel spirit on her and lately I had fallen away from Him. Finally people started to see her attacks against me and she ran away from my church and nobody has seen her for a few months now. I had have demons trying to literally take my life in my sleep. I am literally in a Spiritual Warfare, and the more I seek God, the harder the attacks come. I started losing hope in life and I started not wanting to sing anymore. For a while, I was just going through the motions. And these past few days I've been seeking God harder then ever, and for you to comment this, I know God hears my prayers. And I know God speaks to you because 1) I don't know you, but I've been watching you for a long time now, and b) nobody knew that's exactly how I've been feeling. I want to thank you for your obedience because you just saved not only my journey, but my life.

We can pray to God to reveal to us where we are weak and it will take us being honest with ourselves, being receptive to what other people say.. but let us remember it's not about what the weaknesses are. It's about who we trust.. and Who we trust will make us win. 👆
My weaknesses are desires of the flesh - sex, masturbation, lust, validation from other men (wanting positive attention and feeling wanted), manipulation, being critical, and poor financial management (now)..
God just took everything away from me and stripped off the objects that I'm having weaknesses at.. my ex-boyfriend, my stable job, and just revealing to me areas where I actually need to start working on offering up to God and my accountability group instead of working on them by myself..

I just need someone to pray for me.. I found out that I had a miscarriage at 14 weeks 4 days on Jan 10th , then I had to get surgery this Thursday to remove the baby and my entire heart is broken..i was so in love with my child . the father never wanted to be in the child’s life , very verbally abusive & I was lied to throughout that entire relationship and I’m trying my best to be strong but it’s not easy right now..I’m just asking someone to pray for my strength, and my strength within the lord.. I don’t understand everything.. I don’t understand why this had to happen to me, but I know I need his strength in order to get through this. So thank in advance for all prays and well wishes.

thank you all .. I was in the middle of a fast when I found out , I felt like i had just needed to start the no meat fast at the start of the year , i guess that was God trying to prepare me. Doctors said I did everything right and I’m healthy but things like this happen unfortunately. I’m still sadden by this, but i am using this as ammunition to be even closer to Jesus and reminding myself that I have an angel baby.

Key scripture: Ephesians 6:10. A final word: Be strong in the Lord and in his mighty power. (NLT)
BE strong vs ACTING strong. -- E.g. Disciplining (taking time to reform behaviour) vs punishing (emotionally driven and usually just in the moment and just for show).
Be strong, BUT still put on your armour! You are strong but you still have weaknesses (AND ARMOUR COVERS WEAKNESSES).
Imagery: Dwayne "The Rock" Johnson going to a medieval war without armour even being as strong as he is and seems.
Armour covers major internal organs.
*You gotta go to war even with your weakness.
Affirmation: We gotta go to war with our weakness.
The Story of Mephibosheth: a young man who people wanted to define by his weakness.
2 Samuel 9:1-13 (Mephibosheth sought out by David the King. Characterised by Ziba, the one who knew of him, by his handicap [weakness] (he Mephibosheth was a cripple).)
2 Samuel 4:4 (How Mephibosheth became crippled. It (his weakness) wasn't even his fault --he was dropped be a CAREGIVER.)
*Just beacause the reason for your weakness is valid doesn't make it a worthy excuse.
P.s. This is primarily (if not completely) because of the CALL of the King!
In fact, the act that was trying to protect Mephibosheth was the act that led to him being crippled... Even so, your weakness is not a valid excuse when you're called! (P.s. We are all called by the King [of kings].
*Your weakness wasn't warranted BUT it is REAL.
We have to acknowledge that.
- If you don't admit that your weakness is real, you never can become strong in that area!
Mephibosheth ends up in Lo De Bar --the place where there is no word/the place where there is no communication.
And this was caused by SHAME. "Mephibosheth literally means 'breathing-shame'."
Because of his shame, his weakness, Mephibosheth ends up going into a place of NO WORD.
*So, we too don't want God (or anyone) to speak in the area we are weak. (Being molested as a child, plastic surgery to feel better, and so on). And we withold that part of the ALL OF US we give to GOD. HE wants it ALL!
US: Trying to protect our weakness; GOD: Trying to USE our weakness.

My marriage is ending, found out my husband is addicted to pornography, finances are nonexistent and I'm struggling with anger, resentment and hurt. My weakness is my waning hope and faith. I'm unsure if God wants me to leave because I have no means to get to family. I'm unsure if he wants me to stay and deal with the emotions and pain. Been struggling but by the grace and mercy of God I've come this far better and much more pliable to the Lord.

I decree and declare WINS this year and years to come. I had a teacher tell me I would never pass this math class. I looked at her and felt defeated I surely did. But you know what? I prayed prayed studied did all my homework went over things I didn’t get ended up going up to the mountains leaving one of my assignments on the mountains and the semester was over and I passed the teacher couldn’t even look me in my face because like a sky rocket my grades started to move up and up

I can relate on many days I have felt this. But I am learning to take one day at a time. Ask God to teach you to trust Him, surrender to Him every area of your life, and be transparent with Him about how you feel. He is so awesome and you will overcome.
