I just wanna take the opportunity to thank God for all that he has done for me during this pandemic! Right before COVID 19 struck, I stepped out on faith, and I quit my job. I was miserable at my job, and I didn't have another lined up, but I figured I could live off my tax refund, and quickly find something else. As soon as COVID 19 struck, I started getting various emails from jobs I applied to stating that due to the outbreak they weren't looking to hire anyone at the moment. I initially felt discouraged, but I knew that God would never leave me nor forsake me! When I tell you that God blessed me with a job during the pandemic right before my tax refund ran out! A job working from home at that! To God be the glory! If God is for you, who can be against you?! Amen!
i’m currently in that same situation! except trynna save for college but i know that God’s timing is perfect and He will provide what we need and when we need it.

It’s NO coincidence that I found the original “Relationship Goals” series just 3 days before my break up. God has truly been with me providing me with HIS strength, HIS peace, HIS joy; for in our weakness, God is made strong! There’s no way I could’ve made it through that without Him. No more lists because our Father in Heaven will provide us with everything we need! I’m definitely applying this word to every area of my life. Hallelujah! ❤️

I needed this. I’m struggling in my season of singleness. Literally I am the only one of my siblings & friends who is single and/or childless. With the holidays/winter coming I get lonely and my lack of fertility plagues my mind. I literally cried myself to sleep confused as to why but I needed this shift to asked God what is this teaching me and how can I serve in this season of my life. Thank you 🙏🏽

Today I almost ended my life because of a relationship I was dying to save but was unable to. Luckily I had people to come pull me out and I was able to realize how deep I was into this person rather than having god guide me. Here i am on the first night on my own and when Todd said you don’t always go the route you believe but still end up at the palace I never needed to hear something so much. God bless all those who are still growing and all those who will be our aid

Title: Rip up your list!
Scriptures: Psalms 37:4; Proverbs 19:21; Genesis 37:3-8; 23-36; Psalms 23:4; Genesis 29:2-6; Genesis 39:6-10;
The list: A set of predetermined self fabricated ideals about a specific person, by which erroneous expectations become goals for achievement.
Rip up your list because:
1. Your list will never look like gods list for you. God doesn’t line up with you what he didn’t line out! We have fabricated expectations of what we need. God factors in what we need, not just what we want. Fabricated expectations + failed reality= feelings of frustration.
2. God is more committed to your destiny than he is to your desires. When you choose to put yourself, relationships, business plans, etc. in the lord then he will give you what you desire. The lords purpose must prevail.
3. A god dream is never created based on your preference, a god dream is created based on your purpose. In what god wants for you is true fulfillment. Dreams, support, opportunity, promotion, and a palace is apart of the journey, but not always linear in real life. The path to the palace many times passes through the pit. Take all erroneous expectations and rip it up.
4. The betrayal wasn’t meant to break you, the betrayal was allowed to take you. It was meant to take you to the place you couldn’t go on your own. Sometimes god has to allow hurt to move you from your home! Look for god’s favor in the failure. Your advantage in a God situation is that god is still with you. If god can be for you then who can be against you? God will promote us in the pit.
5. Faithfully serving the season always produces success. God put you on a trajectory that you were supposed to be all along. Prisons can become platforms. The pit builds the character we need to be successful in the palace! Let god rewrite your list!

Its a difficult series to hear personally. When its difficult to listen to His word, its something that God really wants me to learn.
I had a goal of becoming a lawyer and climbing the political latter to being in the White House but God had bigger plans for my life! I had 3 women in my life tell me “just say yes” God had been putting on my heart that I was going to be a missionary. The crazy thing is I didn’t like people to much! I was like if they want Jesus they will find him! But as soon as I said YES God changed my heart and now I am about to go to Africa and share the gospel! I can’t wait to become a full time missionary and now I love people! Even now I ripped up my list and I’m letting God use me how he wants! 👏🏼👏🏼❤️

Made me think of when Judas betrayed Jesus. Judas betrayal was a important 🔑 in a sequence. If he hadn't betrayed Jesus, Jesus wouldn't have been put in the position to be sacrifice for our sin. His betrayal was allowed because it put Jesus in the right place that he needed to be. Just something that came to my mind

This sermon really spoke to me, as I broke up with my boyfriend yesterday. He fits everything on my list, and he is perfect at first glance. The reason why I broke up with him was that he would mistreat me, and I couldn't see myself in the future with a guy like that. He doesn't believe in Jesus, and as time progressed in our relationship, it was more obvious. I'm glad I did this, although it is still going to painful, and I am going to tremendously miss him. God's plan prevails, and I know he is there with me in my pit.

Maybe you don’t have a list, but you have a timeline.I wanted to be married by a certain age , the relationship ended and I was left with a broken heart. You’ll save yourself a lot of heartaches if you just trust God and serve the purpose for the season that you’re in(Delight)yourself in the Lord and he will give you the desires of your Heart.
Yess! I have tried to rush things so many times and something always felt a bit off each time, but I told myself I really want it so I need to take matters into my own hands and just make it happen. Well it didn't happen but then things came up later and I was like ohhh God knew this thing was going to come up, thats why he gave me that resistance before, cause now I see it wouldnt have been good had it happened back when I wanted it to! Unaccomplished goals, career, success, selfish desires, singleness/ marriage , fertility issues, family, etc...at the age of 33 w/ a long list not working out the way I desire...Now I know God is working on my destiny.

Wow, this word really hit me hard. I think this is the hardest that Todd's words ever hit me. I currently work at UPS and I hate it (but I'm grateful). On may 21st that will be my 3 year anniversary. I took the state trooper test 3 years ago too and I passed it with a 98 (after fasting and praying) I thought my dream was finally coming true. Since that day I've started school to get my 60 credits which was the last requirement I needed to go to boot camp and finally leave this job.
Now everything has been put on hold because of Covid-19 and tbh my heart is breaking. I've wanted to leave UPS so many times, but never did it. Now since I can't go to boot camp and finally become a state trooper I feel like I'm trapped at UPS and I'm never gunna get out. I honestly think the last thing on my list is becoming a state trooper and I'm afraid to give it to God because I feel like if I give it to him he won't give it back and idk if I'm ready for that. Yes I know I'm suppose to trust God but with this idk if I can (yet). I really can't see myself doing anything else besides being a state trooper.
But after watching this word and seeing scripture to back it up. This week I will try to RIP it up.

I am a single mom and my only son who's 10 years old has Autism.

Oh God, this message hurt me because it is so true. What God is saying is true. I had so many list for my life and I was mad at Jesus because it was not happening for me in my set time-line.Especially marriage goals and I was hurt but thank you Lord Jesus for not following my list and helping me to be all you said I could be. I made a list. I had my future planned out with a man that I loved so much. I thought I had everything planned out. But, as time went on’ I’ve realized that I was falling for this person so hard that I was losing myself. My happiness depended on him. My peace depended on him. My joy depended on him... everything fell on him. I soon to realize that I needed to take back my power of happiness. My peace. My joy. etc.. long story short. I want to Thank God for giving me the strength to step out of that relationship. Although I want it more than anything. I know that if it’s really meant to be, God would let us meet again. For now, Ik he wants me to gain back my relationship with myself & for most to gain that relationship back with him☝️💕

One of my favorite parts!
When we all profess to be believers and trusting of all things related to God, but can’t trust him to put us with the person we need, then that tells God that we really don’t have true faith in him. That is why a lot of us are in a revolving turnstile of relationships, because we keep making lists of unrealistic wants, instead of asking God to give us the mate that we need. That’s how we take on so many unhealthy soul ties in our life. It really disrupts our connection to God and ultimately corrupts our thoughts and emotions.
You said a mouth full. But Lamar please keep in mind, many of us were not taught. I went to church but wasn't encourage to have a relationship with God or even to read my bible. I thought that going to church was my ticket to a better life, in heaven. Now I know that I don't have to wait until I die to have a better life.
