I am MARKED!
- David was marked at very young age, but there was a process to his purpose/destiny.
- What the devil cannot destroy he distracts.
- When you stop believing the lie, the truth automatically comes to the front. You can't believe the lie and the truth.
- You can still have people in leadership without God's anointing.
- There is never a hit like the one you don't see coming. That's the hit that knocks you down. God has a plan for your life.
- If you know the hits are coming, you can defend yourself and be prepared.
If you are marked by God:
1. You will be approved in private
- What God wants to do in your life, he can't do on display while it is in the seed form.
2. You are anointed before your positioned
- Go back to your sphere of influence and make a difference there. Now that you are anointed, how are you "waiting"(serving)? This process is a heart check.
3. You become an answer to a problem
- Do the last thing that God told you to do and spend time there.
- David did not use the connection to get into the palace. He was perfecting what was in his hand.
- They will send for you. You are an answer to a problem.
- God will allow you to taste your future from a position of serving
- The way you move up (be promoted) is to look for someone that you consider a leader and torment what torments them.
- If you are marked, you will be the answer to a problem.
4. Your opportunity will be wrapped in obedience
- You may be at the same level because you won't go back to do things that you once did (serving).
- David would have never met his opportunity for elevation if he wasn't obedient to his father
- How many things are you missing because you won't obey God?
- Obedience is not about the other person, it's about God getting your heart.
- God never ask you to leave things undone to do a new thing. Stewardship is the heart of God.
5. You are elevated through obstacles
- Where thousands took a step back because they saw an obstacle; David took a step forward because he saw an opportunity.
- We are marked! No longer should we step away from an obstacle. We must know that God is on our side.
- God taught me stuff in the pasture when no one was looking.
- Be a steward of everything you have now, just like everyone is watching.
6. You must be you
- God will use you just the way you are
7. You must have the audacity to honor
- Many times the people you have been fighting for....when they turn on you....know that you are in good company (God).
- Until God moves the person (in leadership) that frustrates you; they are still your leader
- Don't lean on your own understanding
You are marked, but will you let God do it!

Did you know that tithing is a old testament law for the israelites? Today a person is to give whatever they decide in their own heart, to the cause that they wants, without compulsion or guilt. This is how you contribute to good ministries and keep bad ones out of the community. Teach people about new giving, in the new testament. (Scripture Reference: 2 Corinthains 9:6).

The problem with the message is that it’s all about us being elevated in material ways. When we should live Holy for GOD no matter what state we are in.

One thing I've learnt is even though we are marked, we need to learn God's voice and build our relationship with Him because if Pastor Mike didn't know His voice or have a relationship with Him, he wouldn't have known it was God speaking to him and he wouldn't have been so obedient. God is so faithful!

There was almost a lament or psalm-like feeling to my heart while praying for you. Maybe even longing for someone to share your faith with, like a life partner. I envisioned a married structure that would secure your faith more deeply and be a strong foundation and support for your mission and faith.

12 years in college about to graduate as a Register Respiratory Therapist. Sacrificing my time with my 4 year old daughter after a painful break up. As I finish school I see my daughter 2 times a week not by choice but I declare the scripture God showed me over and over for weeks non stop Jere 29:11. All the honor and glory to God. I am finishing up my degree and my family will be restored. I don’t know how or when but his timing is perfect and Be is faithful.

Being at this service was a blessing words can't express the level of anointing that was released but I would say that the main thing that stuck out to me wasn't in the video it was after Pastor Todd finished preaching he went and turned his back towards us and fell on his knees while lifting his hands. At that moment God spoke to me saying if u don't learn to be on your knees I can't elevate you.

This sermon was preached on my bday last year...10 days after the sudden passing of my father. I ran into this sermon at least three times, and was never "impressed" by the title, so I always skipped over it.
Until today. My best friend knew that I'm going thru what feels like hell on earth, and pointed me to this sermon.
I'm sitting at my desk with tears streaming down my face because of the confirmation I just received through this message. It's like God put the pieces to the puzzle together so I can see what's kind of going on...but because the storm isn't over...I've gotta keep stepping out on faith, and making sure I meet Him in the the holy space and focus on Him until He delivers...in whatever way that looks like.
I'm grateful that I'm marked. That I'm in good company because I stepped out on faith when everyone told me it wasn't smart. The trials that I'm going through-- it's because I was sought out. It's all been a plan-- Abba, you're so intentional, and I thank you for you grace to keep pushing, and I thank you for the guidance and peace in the midst of the storm.

I am a British university student, I had watched this sermon when it was first posted online and was impacted by it, I decided to continue to serve God even when I am faced with obstacles. Almost 2 weeks later I decide to watch it again (after having gone through some difficult times where I needed to be a servant to my family and friends eventhough I felt anger and annoyance and impatience towards them) and after watching it I realised that God had definately changed me, not only because I was able to serve people despite my feelings. After moving away from home to go to uni I found a new church to go to, close to my campus. This church is much bigger and is growing alot faster than my home church was. I had served as a photographer in that smaller church and so had been working on bettering my photography skills, in my new church I was given the opportunity to serve in an easter conference simply because I had the experience of working as a photographer in my old church. God raised my position. Though there came a time where I needed to go back to that small church and be a servant and teach the other photographer on our team more about camerawork, there I could've decided to be prideful (and yes the first time I went back to the small church I was) but this second time after obeying God, I came to know that though we are all in seperate churches, we are all the same people - family and followers of the Lord Jesus. So by going back and teaching that other photographer it meant that when I am not around I can be okay knowing that someone of good skill is taking my place whilst I am being called at this new church. And so now I say I will do my best to go back to that church and serve God the best I can, no matter whether I enjoy serving in it or not, because God wants to transform and elevate my old church so that it becomes something greater than it is right now. So that it can achieve the same things my new church is achieveing and more, amen.

I love Pastor Mike and have been watching him for awhile and was so excited to see that he got to preach at Elevation. But let me tell you, the past couple days..especially today I have been going through discouragement and doubt and literally 5 minutes into this video God spoke to me. By the end of the video I was sobbing. So much truth that Pastor Mike talked about. It was crazy to hear Pastor Mike's testimony about Pastor Steven and how God was moving through that. Definitely needed to hear this today.

WOWWWW!!! Is how I can describe this feeling I have after watching this sermon. I saw a clip on IG this morning and it touched me and lead me to watch the complete sermon. I have been in prayer for a while now and majority well I can say, ALL that I have been praying about was explained in this message. I received the message and I am truly Grateful for the Man of GOD. Pastor Todd you are truly an Inspiration. I have watched MANY MANY MANY of your services and each time I am brought to tears and given hope to keep pushing. I AM MARKED BY GOD. The devil cant destroy me because I am not his to destroy. So he causes distractions and TODAY 7/14/2022 I SAY NO MORE DISTRACTIONS!!! I CHOOSE TO WALK IN GODS DIVINE FAVOR!!!! BLESSINGS TO YOU AND YOUR FAMILY!!!!

This has been an anchor sermon of mine whenever i doubt myself i always come back to this sermon.
I'm a volunteer teacher in SA and and I came to the school because I felt like God was directing me here, and being a believer my mentality is that I'm working for God so I give my all to my learners and to the school but sometimes I feel that doubt, am I ever gonna get a contract? & it's in those moments I hear Pastor Michael's voice in my head, "I am marked! I am called! I am anointed! God is approving me in private right now and when my time comes I won't even have to sit for an interview. I watch this sermon almost everyday.
