I prayed about this guy I was really interested in and I was “talking” to at the time. Y’all I thought I found my possible future husband at 17 😂 he was a Christian, probably the nicest boy I’ve ever encountered, multitalented, nerdy (that’s my thing ig 😂), the whole package bruh. So I asked God to please show me his intentions so i don’t waste my time AGAIN 😫 I dreamed we were dating and we were walking down this icy hill, then we got to the restaurant (like our actual first date) and he started ignoring me, like he wasn’t talking to me, won’t make eye contact with me and basically treated me as if I didn’t exist. Yet he stayed next to me the whole time we were in the restaurant. I woke up like “God what’s this supposed to mean” knowing fully that this was not going to happen the way I wanted to. I didn’t pounder on the dream that much and still continued to talk to this guy , things we were goin so smooth 🤦🏾♀️ you know what happened few months later? Out of nowhere, I got ghosted. Y’all that had hurt so bad 😭 but at the same time I started to remember the dream and I was ohhh 😮 You told me this was gonna happen! long story short, if you pray to God to expose relationships in your life before getting deeper into them. Worship is our weapon! Lasts night I praised like never before in my bedroom with my children. My 2 year old and my 4 month old. My husband left us for another women when my baby was just 1 month old and he moved to the other side of the country. I felt so depressed until I started watching crazy faith series and now started watching this series. It has truly been helping connect with God in a different way and I am praying that God restores and heals my family. I know God has made promises for us and our children to serve Him. You don't have a one-time purpose for your whole life; it changes during your life. It can change often or be consistent. I refer purposes to "seasons" because they always change for me. I know God has huge plans for me, but my purpose is to serve at home and take care of my siblings. I hate it sometimes because I have my own plans and such, but God sees the bigger picture. Ask God what He could teach you today, not what you want from Him. He is an instructor, not a genie. Tell Him what you desire and are afraid of in the future, He is your friend who loved you enough to send His only child to die for you. He will comfort you when you feel unsure about the future. Whether it is a talent you have, a person you connect with, or developing your relationship with Him, everything takes time to form. I pray you grow with Him and learn how amazing you are in His eyes 💝
Hi Jessie! I’m currently doing bible college and that question gets asked ALL THE TIME, and one I’ve had for myself too. Society today limits our purpose to one tangible thing. Would it really be God’s purpose in our lives if it’s a purpose we can do on our own strength? The most important thing I learnt is that our TRUE purpose in life, and God’s perfect will for us is to simply become more like Him! Practically this sounds counterintuitive, but God kinda works like that! Sometimes how God works doesn’t make sense now, but it will in the future. It’s good to have a future goal and work towards it, but keep an open heart to the next open door God guides you to! I encourage you to take it day by day, to enjoy every moment in His presence throughout the day. Even in the Bible mentions that birds don’t worry about what they’ll be eating tomorrow for our Heavenly Father feeds them, how much more should that apply to us 🤗 Totally agree with what Kerry said too! A year later and your service is still teaching people. I’ve always been a Christian, always believed in God and His Son, and what he did for me. I got with a man, who wasn’t a Christian (and I knew that), and I lost my way for 6 years. Im starting over and I’m so excited and so happy and grateful that God forgives. I prayed about this guy I was really interested in and I was “talking” to at the time. Y’all I thought I found my possible future husband at 17 😂 he was a Christian, probably the nicest boy I’ve ever encountered, multitalented, nerdy (that’s my thing ig 😂), the whole package bruh. So I asked God to please show me his intentions so i don’t waste my time AGAIN 😫 I dreamed we were dating and we were walking down this icy hill, then we got to the restaurant (like our actual first date) and he started ignoring me, like he wasn’t talking to me, won’t make eye contact with me and basically treated me as if I didn’t exist. Yet he stayed next to me the whole time we were in the restaurant. I woke up like “God what’s this supposed to mean” knowing fully that this was not going to happen the way I wanted to. I didn’t pounder on the dream that much and still continued to talk to this guy , things we were goin so smooth 🤦🏾♀️ you know what happened few months later? Out of nowhere, I got ghosted. Y’all that had hurt so bad 😭 but at the same time I started to remember the dream and I was ohhh 😮 You told me this was gonna happen! long story short, if you pray to God to expose relationships in your life before getting deeper into them. Ask and it shall be given, it might feel good now but God knows what’s beyond those feelings. If it’s not from God then He will let you know. Worship is our weapon! Lasts night I praised like never before in my bedroom with my children. My 2 year old and my 4 month old. My husband left us for another women when my baby was just 1 month old and he moved to the other side of the country. I felt so depressed until I started watching crazy faith series and now started watching this series. It has truly been helping connect with God in a different way and I am praying that God restores and heals my family. I know God has made promises for us and our children to serve Him. This has reminded me of all of God's promises.

You don't have a one-time purpose for your whole life; it changes during your life. It can change often or be consistent. I refer purposes to "seasons" because they always change for me. I know God has huge plans for me, but my purpose is to serve at home and take care of my siblings. I hate it sometimes because I have my own plans and such, but God sees the bigger picture.
Ask God what He could teach you today, not what you want from Him. He is an instructor, not a genie. Tell Him what you desire and are afraid of in the future, He is your friend who loved you enough to send His only child to die for you. He will comfort you when you feel unsure about the future.
Whether it is a talent you have, a person you connect with, or developing your relationship with Him, everything takes time to form. I pray you grow with Him and learn how amazing you are in His eyes 💝

Hi Jessie! I’m currently doing bible college and that question gets asked ALL THE TIME, and one I’ve had for myself too. Society today limits our purpose to one tangible thing. Would it really be God’s purpose in our lives if it’s a purpose we can do on our own strength? The most important thing I learnt is that our TRUE purpose in life, and God’s perfect will for us is to simply become more like Him! Practically this sounds counterintuitive, but God kinda works like that! Sometimes how God works doesn’t make sense now, but it will in the future. It’s good to have a future goal and work towards it, but keep an open heart to the next open door God guides you to! I encourage you to take it day by day, to enjoy every moment in His presence throughout the day. Even in the Bible mentions that birds don’t worry about what they’ll be eating tomorrow for our Heavenly Father feeds them, how much more should that apply to us 🤗 Totally agree with what Kerry said too! A year later and your service is still teaching people. I’ve always been a Christian, always believed in God and His Son, and what he did for me. I got with a man, who wasn’t a Christian (and I knew that), and I lost my way for 6 years. Im starting over and I’m so excited and so happy and grateful that God forgives. He immediately forgives and has been waiting patiently for me to come back so he can give me the things I really want and need, in the way it will last.
