So happy to hear about therapies fir the vagus nerve and recognition of the importance of vagal tone and balance. I work with the vagus nerve as a manual therapist. Along with the device, I think finding a good therapist whi does visceral and/or neural manipulation, craniosacral or acupuncture could be incredibly helpful. Truly, a holistic approach is needed. Nutrition, etc.
People, you all need to chill out about the price. This man does a ton of research and presents it as unbiased as possible and let’s you come to your own conclusions about what he’s uncovering. He gives us all the links to the papers he researches. They are LONG!! He takes all that time to read them, research them, script out a video, film, pay an editor to edit it. That all takes a lot of time and he asks for nothing in return. Show your gratitude that he is being honest and giving you all this knowledge for free. I have friends who are researchers, they don’t make much money. Don’t crap on him for this. Would you all work for free? It’s a 30-day money back guarantee. And it’s much cheaper than a lifetime of medications and doc visits.
It’s not so much that it is an unfair price, it is just that it puts it out of range for many of us who don’t make a ton of money. I am a Baker who has not been able to taste or smell for nearly two years. I would love to be able to afford treatment.
I agree it is much less expensive than all the medications that are taken. For me, in medication alone, it would be less than a year for the device to pay for itself. That’s money well spent. They also take PayPal and an extended payment plan with no interest.
I wish I had studies I could refer to, but alas clinical trials require funding. No one seems interested in funding studies that would help individuals take their health into their own hands and not require purchases of drugs and devices! What I can attest to is that in studying the function of the vagus nerve, how it innervates our major organs and our cardiovascular, respiratory and digestive systems, linking them to our brain stem, it is clear that the proper functioning of CN 10 cannot be overlooked as to the proper functioning of all major systems of the body. Taking this understanding into practice, I have helped people overcome autoimmune conditions and TBI and other maladies by teaching them how to stimulate the Vagus Nerve on their own. One must begin with a calm nervous system to get out of "fight or flight" mode. Then, anything that promotes stimulation in the sides of the neck, such as gargling, singing, humming, yawning, laughing, walking, socializing, and cold exposure will do the trick. The device for VNS would be a helpful tool as well. I have read Stanley Rosenberg's book, "Accessing the Healing Power of the Vagus Nerve." My theory of why the long viral symptoms have emerged is because our immune systems will increase cortisol production in response to respiratory inflammation. If the interferon system isn't working properly, the "calming" of cortisol production does not happen properly. Cortisol is helpful in the short term for reducing inflammation, but if the increased production of it is not turned off, it will lead to adrenal insufficiency. This can be shown in studies regarding the prolonged use of corticosteroids in asthmatic patients. Also, the fear aspect of "getting a deadly disease" increases adrenal stimulation, adding to this effect of increased cortisol production. I would be happy to share more of what I have learned through practice, if it is of any interest. The important thing to note is the role of the Vagus Nerve in inflammatory conditions is novel in theory as far as the current scientific world is concerned, but has been known in ancient practice such as Traditional Chinese Medicine for thousands of years. I appreciate all that you share on this channel!
There's books and videos about vagus nerve avail. Dr Ross Hauser on UA-cam is who I first started to learn about it from on his "Caring Medical" channel. Have actual specimens of SARS cov been provided to researchers? For the longest time people were saying that they were denied a single sample and there was zero evidence whatsoever that it exists in the way they were telling the public. It's been very frustrating for us and you'reone of very few researchers that I still check in with. Thank you so much. Very happy we did not get the jab, but almost everyone we know chose to do so 😢 Many are dead and suffering now, it's ridiculous and ongoing @Merogenomics
YT won’t let me post my detailed review of the nurosym mentioned here. All I can say is that it literally has changed my life.my quality of life has drastically improved and my rheumatoid arthritis is completely gone!! My depression (which as not related to other things as I suffered from as I had depression prior to other issues mentioned) is MUCH BETTER AND LAST SHORTER AMOUNTS OF TIME DEF WORTH AT LEAST GIVING IT A GO. Nothing to lose with the 30 day trial.
Oh wow! Your review is surpassing my expectations! Especially about the arthritis! You're only 3rd person to give me any feedback and another person also said it worked like magic in taking pain away. Also, incredible info on depression! Did you score your symptoms? I highly recommend to take count of your symptoms and score them from 1 to 10 scale like they did in the paper. Good trick even if the scale is going to be your own subjective one

Very interesting news! I read about similar devices in Norman Doidge’s book The Brain that Changes itself. It was very successful in reversing and healing dramatic neurological symptoms. The device in that book would sit under the tongue. This one sounds easier to use. Thank you for sharing this!
Is this treatment for stimulation of the vagas nerve? The fatigue, cognitive issues would make sense if people are stuck within the sympathetic nervous system. If this can stimulate our parasympathetic nervous system, it had great potential for many other disease states. Especially mental health and trauma. Very promising. Excellent work
Just mentioning this but so many people I know have had gut/ metabolic issues after being sick. I have found probiotics, enzymes (specifically wobenzym n), and eating small amounts of yellow dragon fruit very helpful. I didn't realize the dragon fruit had such good benefits (and yes it has laxative properties as well so do your own research). I am not giving medical advice, just something that has helped me and many I know. Also being outdoors, light exercise and healthy diet are quite helpful. 😊
WOW this is exciting news, this clinical trial actually gives me hope for the future. Congrats on your sponsorship! Looking forward to future developments with this tech
Do you have videos on the anti-cholinergic anti-inflammatory pathways? I think that is what you said this addressed. I very much appreciate your videos and the excellent scientific reviews you provide!
Prior to this I only had one specific vagus video (ua-cam.com/video/8teO8SgLJU8/v-deo.html) but I also did a blog post on the topic too: merogenomics.ca/blog/en/170/Is-it-all-because-of-vagus-nerve-damage
My chiro does vagus nerve neuromodulation with a similar device. For those who are unable to afford that type of machine, there are numerous ways to stimulate the vagus nerve, including gargling, breathing exercises, humming, singing, etc. Many online. The key is to find the balances you can over do it as well.
Thank you!! 😁 Hopefully we will continue working together! I am super excited about this technology and its benefits! Really want to dive more into these topics!
this is encouraging news but I agree with others about the price of this device. Time tomtry out my Tens machine again. Thank you for all of your videos.
Could this also be used to improve MCAS symptoms triggered by Covid infection , I've heard vagus nerve is involved a lot with mast cell activation ? Thank you for the great info and potentially amazing new treatment doctor, your videos have been an invaluable source of info for years now !
Super interesting! In my studies have not yet seen that connection, but, I only got into the vagus nerve big time couple months ago. Still tons of research to go! But I am ABSOLUTELY blown away how frequently that nerve seems affected in different conditions.
This is a fascinating study. I wonder if the device was moved from one ear to the other during each session. I imagine, too, perhaps the participants being able to proactively work towards a hopeful recovery increased their level of optimism.
Very interesting, but, especially given that the participants had g.i. issues, I’d like to know any history of antibiotic therapy. But also, I’d be curious to see if repopulating their microbiome might also contribute to recovery.
Please please stay in touch! I really want to keep tabs on how well it works for people in general. Please feel free to email me. I am also very much interested in use of this device in ME/CFS (super similar to long COVID) and this is one of the company's main areas of interest and I am hoping to be reporting on this science in not too distant future
This is nuts. Two years ago after covid I associated what I was having to the vagus nerve… I started using a small cocktail and it worked. I wasn’t sure about the vagus nerve, no one was talking about it… unbelievable.
Should have had a group who got non nerve stimulation ( maybe just a vibration or light come on) … studies with no controls are not very useful. Have seen placebo effects that are very strong. Glad these folks felt better but more stringent studies needed.
A 6 year old girl I know has been on antibiotics for two years now. If she comes off them, even just for 1 day, she gets a UTI. Her parents are seeing all sorts of specialists who have admitted they are out of their depth. Could this be vax or covid related? Lived in St Albert years ago. Lovely to see Edmonton there in the background.
I’m no doctor but it sounds like it’s possible her microbiome is way out of balance. She needs her good bacteria back I bet. There’s helpful information from functional medicine Drs on UA-cam as well. Look up chronic UTIs and antibiotic use. Hope this little girl can get feeling better soon!❤
My companion's 10-year-old granddaughter had a terrible UTI. Her family doctor and urologist could not help her "at all". Under my instruction, she drank cranberry juice and ate cranberry jam. Two hours later, she was well. It has been 2 years that she has not had UTI. There are people on the internet saying that cranberry juice is useless. It worked on this little girl.
She has a biofilm, she needs to be on an enzyme mix like Klaire labs interfase + that will destroy the biofilm. And lauracidin, it is a form of monolauran that coats bacterial and viruses and destroys them. My sister-in-law had a UTI for a year was on antibiotics that destroyed her intestinal flora. When she called me for help I put her on the two products above and big doses of probiotics. She was cured in less than a week and has never had an infection again. Allopathic medicine are one trick pony’s they only know what big pharma tells them.

@@jass412 And here are the links to other studies - one about lowering blood pressure is very interesting . "Abstract Background: Research conducted during the last 15 y has demonstrated that grounding (Earthing) the human body to Earth's surface charge generates multiple beneficial physiological effects. Anecdotal reports include lowering of high blood pressure (BP). Objective: To test such reports, a pilot case history series was undertaken with hypertensive patients in a single physician cardiology practice. Intervention: Patients grounded themselves at home for at least 10 h/d for several mo. Outcome measure: BP was measured at baseline in the clinic, and then, after starting grounding, 3 subsequent times in the clinic again at approximately monthly intervals. Patients were also given a BP monitor and were asked to measure their BP on Mondays, Thursdays, and Saturdays at 8:00 AM and 8:00 PM for 12 wk. Results: All 10 patient measurements were found to be significantly improved at the end of the trial period, and some, well before the end. Systolic levels decreased during this time, ranging individually from 8.6% to 22.7%, with an average decrease of 14.3%. Conclusion: This is the first known study measuring the influence of grounding the body on hypertension. The results indicate that grounding appears to be a safe BP-reducing therapy warranting further research."
I am doctor treating long covid and vax injury. Dysautonomia / POTS is common. I bought nurosym device on your recommendation and after reading some other papers discussing its use in paroxysmal atrial fibrillation. Device currently with patient with breathing coordination / stridor problems post viral vector shot. I am eagerly awaiting progress report and have increasing list of patients who may benefit.
Super excited to hear, especially in the hands I would desire to be in the most, treating doctors!!! Please keep me posted and feel free to email as well. Atrial fibrillation is also big topic of interest for me (family members affected) with this device and hopefully I will be making videos on it as well. I am also impressed you are coordinating it with breathing exercises which is also a topic of interest with regards to the vagus nerve and blood pH regulation. Please contact me if you plan to get more patients involved as we can then look at deeper discounts options with the company (at least worth having a conversation with them)
Interesting but....700 euros is a little over the top for a simple stimulation device, much cheaper with same or simular results can be achieved by auriculotherapy, a centuries old threatment that´s very effective and can be done by oneself for a couple of euros each session
Can you do an update on Nurosym? It’s not available in the US anymore and there seems to be a lot of interest. I tried reaching out to them but haven’t heard anything. Being in the US I’m not even sure the message got through as it was sent via their website. Any assistance and update you could help facilitate would be appreciated. Thanks!
Received my device today yay! So my symptoms are 1. I am unable to concentrate (got covid 2x) 2. Suffer from rheumatoid arthritis due to inflammation of my joints 3. My gut protrudes (I don’t drink nor over eat and believe it’s inflammation) 4. I have constant phlegm even when I’m not sick. I cough it out daily. Sometimes I feel like I have a film in my lungs that makes it hard to breathe. 5. I’m depressed I’m excited to try this thing. Tonight will be day one. Will update anytime I feel a difference in my body. Wish me luck!
Definitely excited to see how this works for you! I'm curious about the inflammation and the mood change from what I've been reading so far. All the best and keep us posted! Oh, as an easy extra, look at my videos on training optimism!
Please let me know how it works for you! I really want to know how well this device works because so far I have been so impressed by the published info. Either post it here or email me please!
Sorry, have not looked into that. But I can see the connection potentially on account of how breathing is regulated by it, and hence also the levels of oxygen in the blood
A Recap of my symptoms with context (prior to the use of this device) is below: 1. I am unable to concentrate since contracting covid and very unproductive as a result (got covid 2x) 2. Suffer from rheumatoid arthritis. My pain is so bad I’m getting to the point where I can barely walk. I’m woken up in middle of the night by the intense pain in my knees. This pain intensifies when the season changes and temperatures start dropping. 3. My gut protrudes (I don’t drink nor over eat and I’m a fairly healthy eater. I believe it’s inflammation) 4. I have constant phlegm even when I’m not sick. I cough out quarter sized phlegm multiple times daily. Sometimes I feel like I have a film in my lungs that makes it hard to breathe. (Not a smoker) 5. I’m depressed (I’ve been depressed years before my other symptoms started so this depression is not linked at all to the other 4 symptoms). I go through depression episodes daily. (I’m not on anti-depressants)
Ok, now looking forward to after the Nurysym device use! Very excited for you! Also, for the phlegm, talk to your doctor about Nattokinase. At least I think it used to be prescribed for cystic fibrosis. See our previous vid on NAC here: ua-cam.com/video/f4MJ6KG6kUU/v-deo.html
Nothing, I also have extreme insomnia, about to try a brain retraining program because I believe all my issues are nervous system related. @@Merogenomics
Do you think this device will work for symptoms, similar to these , from thoracic spine surgery? I have numbness, intermittent paralysis, pain, tingling, and weakness. Thank you.
I’m joining your next q&a so I can talk about my experience with the aparatos. May I?YT is being a major dickwad and not letting me say that my Rheumatoid arthritis that left me almost cripple and barely able to walk is completely gone and that it gave me my life back. It also doesn’t let me say that though I didn’t notice a big change in focusing, I did relax more and ended up being less fatigued and got more done throughout the month. I think YT hates that my phlegm went from a a twenty five cent coin size to a five cent coin size. YT can’t stand that my cough ups are less frequent by about fifty percent and that my deh-presh-on lows are shorter lived and the gray lens that I saw the world through is now more vibrant in color and less gray and it has turned my days around greatly. YT stinks. this thing doesn’t
For someone who is vaccine injured and the doctors haven't a clue what's wrong with me (probably out of ignorance and lazyness), what tests would you recommend me getting. Ive had heart problems, severe headaches, eye pain, tinitus, nerve twitches, sensitivity to sound and light. It's been hell. Ive been asking if i could get a spike protein blood test but doctors dont know what im talking about. I just dont know what other type of tests i should be trying to get results from to know what's gone wrong with me. I was a previously very fit person training 5 days a week. I just want my life back.
This is what I emailed someone recently in a private conversation: when it comes to pandemic-related complications, I would be curious to look into the following to see where the issues lie: - Vagus nerve function - talk to your doctor, this can be assessed by measuring heart rate or breathing rate or other ways of measuring the vagal tone (this is where I am collecting science articles to learn more myself) - Gut microbiome - NOT sure where to direct at the moment for quality outcome (in terms of quality expertise in results interpretation) - Clotting capacity - talk to you doctor and you can learn more here: ua-cam.com/video/sTCwxTFA5jI/v-deo.html - IgG4 antibodies - if mRNA vaccinated, the current science would suggest that you might have elevated levels of IgG4. These might not be good and might require medical intervention and screening for additional complications. To test your IgG4 levels you can learn more here: merogenomics.ca/blog/en/169/Help-for-mRNA-vaccinated-protecting-the-innate-immune-system My current immediate solution that I would be considering right away that appeals to me the most is non-invasive vagus nerve neuromodulation. Here is why: merogenomics.ca/blog/en/170/Is-it-all-because-of-vagus-nerve-damage Back to you: looking at your symptoms, some could indeed overlap with the vagus nerve, some are new to me with regards to whether they could be linked or not, but they all sound like linked to nerves being affected. Maybe ask for a referral to a neurology specialist if you haven't gone there already? But at least I hope this gives you some direction to research. Wishing you all the best!!!
From what I am studying now around the vagus nerve and using both neuromodulation and red light (as requested by the participants of the last COVID Q&A - which also could work via the vagus nerve among other things), I certainly would consider it: first and foremost to see if it could reduce inflammation which could then translate to reduced pain. Nueromodulation, including this device apparently, is supposed to be very promising for dealing with pain, but I still have to get through the science. I am only just diving into it and the amount of science is quite enormous
In the month of August last year, I caught COVID from my parents. After about a week, my only symptom was major sleep problems. Every single night I only slept like maybe 2 to 3 hours a night. That's it. Nothing helped. I've tried everything . But last week I miraculously slept like before. This lasted 1 year and 4 months !
That is awesome! The vagus nerve also appears to be linked to sleep and neuromodulation can apparently help with insomnia (still on my study to do list) but hey, you found a way! That must have been a good feeling to go back to old pattern! ;)
@@Merogenomics @Merogenomics Oh my god, I cannot express my relieve for being able to sleep life before. Thank you for asking and thank you for your videos ! I learned a lot ! I've made all the medical tests that my doctor asked me to. Everything came up fine ! Then, I was prescribed benzodiazépines. I read horrendous stuff about what I was prescribed. I was afraid of becoming addicted to them. I've consulted more psichyatric doctors and they said they didn't find any signs of depression. Not even mild anxiety. So I refused to take any of those. They gave me Zolpidem (which is another name for Ambien) . Every day was a struggle in every moment. And then, out of nothing, without anything special happening, my sleep came back ! I was takin these and somehow helped me barely function. Vitamin D with magnesium, high concentration of CBD oil, melatonin and plant based drugs. I know nothing about Vagus nerve but I still remain with weird stings in the legs and in the left biceps. This is so weird. Hoping these will pas too.

Very good! I am sure you have made this list for yourself . . . I hope! Cheers, and best of luck!
Thank you for asking since I didn't know about this. It looks to me like approach is similar but different nerves are targeted as the purpose is different. But the concept is similar. The point here though is that you need to get the right signals correctly to the target nerve you want
Could co-v1d 19 induced Anosmia be Trigeminal nerve dysfunction... Especially if numb in just 1 nostril? and what could be potential therapy options to look into (4 years on)
Answered that in other vid comment too: I would consider vagus nerve neuromodulation because there is emerging evidence it does help with neuroplasticity, and look into vitamin A for similar reasons
Can't remember directly but changes in BP rings a bell. Heart is clearly impacted but at the moment I know of testing on atrial fibrillation that has been done in the past
I am confused. Is the vagus nerve responsible for nerve problems aswell in regards to long covid. My whole body is suffering with nerve pain and irritation post Covid infection.
Vagus nerve is connected to many organs and interacts with our immune system. So if not working optimally, it could affect proper function of many areas of the body, hence the gamut of symptoms possible. I will definitely be making more videos on the vagus nerve and long COVID
@@Merogenomics Thankyou. It feels you are getting closer to the long covid cause and proper treatment and possibly a cure I feel like there is a poison radiating around my face and body.

I did return to work around this time but i was doing so many different things that I couldn't definitively say what it was that might have helped.
Interesting that I heard of another study with 23 participants, and 12weeks and they claimed success, but with treatment stopped and paper written up, participants regressed significantly, but there was no mention of TENS treatment.. Do you have a link to the study..?? Thanks
I love your videos with this one is a bit of a letdown. Long covid (as serious as it is) still isn't officially defined in medical terms. It can mean so many different things. Also, the research you're referring to regarding this device as presumably been conducted by the manufacturer themselves, and a typical response to that would be that the research is biased it must be taken with a grain of salt
This is great news , i teach yoga and breathwork to improve vagal tone. Often the long covid and vaccine damaged are too depressed physically to commit to practice, this device could be useful. Stephen porges has done much vagal theory research . Good news thankyou

You may want to look at Ehlers Danlos Syndrome too. Many of us zebras who have EDS have issues with the vagus nerve as well. Some even have cranial instability / cervical instability with the joints way up near the brain stem - I believe they are called the S1 and S2 joints? Plus people who have EDS also are more likely to get Pots / dysautonomia. Many of us have gut issues + temperature disregulation etc. The loose joints up by the neck can apparently squeeze the vagus nerve and / or those big blood veins. Plus many with EDS probably have no idea they have the instability in the neck. But if you tilt your head the wrong way + the ears start ringing.... Well. Its kind of suspicious! Oh and EDS takes YEARS to diagnose so there are many walking around out there with it × suffering as they have no idea they have it! Doctors are very bad at recognizing it. I actually had to TELL my doctor I thought I had it! Then she sent me to a neurologist plus her buddy doctor to find out if I was "making it all up". But her buddy said right away it was clear I have EDS + MCAS. Oh and many who have EDS also have autism like I do! So please look into hypermibility / EDS. And PTSD too. C-PTSD. That affects the nerve as well. Almost all autistics have C-PTSD due to the bad bullying they suffer etc in childhood. I have been diagnosed with that too. Good luck looking into this stuff Dr! ❤
Thank you. This says it all. Ditto effects and responses for Lyme and co-infections too. Many supplements for that can help with the symptoms of Long Covid. (4xV-M.)
Dear dr. Raszek, is "long covid" caused by the natural infection or is it caused by the injections? Because they both do the same: activating the immune system and in (more or less) the same way. 22 November 2023.
It seems long covid is caused by the persistence of the spike protein in the body which can be caused by either the injection or infection. That is the common factor between the two
How I see it now: Long COVID = injury post infection; Long Vax = injury post vax spike exposure. Together Long spike injury. Honestly, I don't care so much about the words as much as what can people do to help themselves. I will make a video on the most voted supplements soon as well
Yep just checked out now. Before you check out they do a questionnaire to see if you are a candidate or not for the device. Be honest because they tune the device to your specific needs and you can get harmed if you give them the wrong info because as I said they tailor it to YOUR NEEDS.
Sweden got much prop how well we handled the pandemic, but talking with doctors now about severe lingering symptoms, its like we never had pandemic. I have gotn a Astma medication prescribed in 2 years, thats it. though I have plenty of other LC symptoms. I belive its the spike that sits on the ace2 recp deep in the brain that drives this.
It could be as the virus can infect the vagus nerve and hence gain access to the brain. But it could also be due to the function of the vagus nerve affected directly by the spike protein, especially since so many of the symptoms correspond to what would be expected when the vagus nerve function is affected
@@Merogenomics I found this new medicin called NACE2i, Australia phase 2 trials. I gues you already seen it. I read the studie. Bad Swenlish didnt mean deep inside but under. Guess thats worse with a stick vs ball in the small kapileries. Thanks for the reply. Love your content🤙
Fascinating. If that can deal with IBS, idiopathic neuropathy, eye floaters of a type that has never been seen before, muscle fatigue and inflammation, I’m almost all in. This crap has been going on for almost 2 years. My family doc is absolutely useless, and a neurologist was just as clueless. Take vitamin D, that’s their advice. It’s not “sad”, it’s a feeling of “hopelessness” and “anxiety” as far as symptom relief and walking around waiting for the spikes to mess up something else. One negative. $1000 Canadian is steep. The unit looks like a miniature TENS machine. They’re worth a less than $100. Why so much??

Anyways, immediately got a second “this time it worked” back surgery and figured it was clear sailing. That was December 2019. Course we all know what happened a few months later. Glad to hear the gaba works for you. Here, it’s a bit of pot 4 or 5 nights a week as a sleep aid. I originally had joint pain too. It’s the one thing that’s calmed down.
@@surfghoul If you don’t smoke, try nicotine gum or lozenge (or equivalent patch). As little as 2mg (4mg is ok) for a week can improve certain things. My tinnitus was GONE on the 3rd day-I couldn’t believe it, but I was desperate to try anything. It has to do with our natural nicotinic receptors that get messed up with spike and similar proteins from viruses or medications. There are studies about pure nicotine (using patch/gum), even a recent one from Harvard. Good luck.
This is so interesting! I’ve had issues since an infection in late 2021 then vax made things worse in Dec. 2021. Over the next months I seemingly lost my swallow reflex and lost a lot of weight due to eating much less as a result. At times I did “feel” the swallow reflex kick in BUT when it did I felt a strange sensation in my popliteal fossa area. Your video just allowed me to make that connection! On top of the swallowing issues I’ve had many other vagus nerve dysfunction symptoms that have been debilitating. Since coming across your videos this week, I’ve started some vagus nerve stimulation exercises (gargling hard with water, humming, inducing a gag reflex..which is notably diminished) and I definitely feel a cognitive change along with some of the side effects you listed, notably palpitations and thoracal pain. I hope things continue to trend in the right direction. You’ve gained a subscriber and a fan! Thank you!
What a wonderful description! Thank you for sharing your experience and thank you for your kind words. Reading your symptoms, check out the latest video on the vagus nerve that just got posted. Loss of swallo reflex is also a sign of vagus nerve being affected
Thank you! I’ve watched the newest video as well. I’ve known early on there was a nervous system component to my issues. One of the strangest symptoms was/is a burning/tingling/tightness type sensation in my throat. For the longest time I thought it was acid reflux, but I’m realizing it’s in the exact spot recommended for stimulation via external vagus nerve stimulators along the carotid sinus. The other day I felt the pain coming on…did some hard gargling with water and poof it went away almost immediately. I also have noticed my heart rate significantly goes down after stimulation, as my heart rate fluctuations have been a big component to my issues. The vagus nerve seems to explain all of my symptoms over the past couple of years…POTS like symptoms, MCAS, dizzy spells, cognitive problems, very strange anxiety and panic attack type sensations, digestive issues, new allergies, I’m sure I’m missing some. I’m also sure new ailments have developed due to the vagus nerve dysfunction (I suspect SIBO for example due to lowered motility) but ultimately it seems this is a huge clue into the heart of the issue. I wonder if this partially explains why fluoxetine, the SSRI, helped some people with cvd19 as it does act via the vagus nerve. Thanks again! Looking forward to additional videos from you. I plan to continue pulling on this vagus nerve thread and hopefully make progress with my health.
I’m also really trying to find a balance in an effort to not overstimulate the vagus nerve. As I said in my original comment, it seemingly has caused some thoracic pain which has been very strange. I haven’t felt the palpitations since the first day of experimenting in which there were only a couple but the thoracic pain has stuck around. Feels like it wraps all the way around my ribs.
Why pretend? There are those who had issues post infections and those post gene therapy. I suppose it is all lumped into Long COVID category but that is not what this study was looking at
I tried to post a detailed & positive response here,... but YT or a BOT or your settings removed it. If interested in the Abdominal Brain see my community page.

LDN is good stuff! It was expensive to get at the compounding pharmacy, so I convinced my doctor to write a prescription for the 50 mg tablets and then dilute it in distilled water.
I showed up late and it showed me in live chat, I commented but chat didn't continue so I went out, clicked like and then could not get back into live chat. It only gives me this option🙄😔

Doctor, I’m unable to post my detailed update post usage of the device :(. I tried posting 8X and all 8X this platform blocks my posts. It’s super frustrating because I know my post could potentially help people decide to at least try it and better their quality of life. But this platform censors way too much. They really don’t want to help people. I’m very disappointed because it took me a really long time to write my update only to have nobody here benefit from it :(
Please email me and even these comments are super helpful because you are clearly stating that the vagus nerve neuromudulation device was really helpful. To be honest, I am blown away by your info! I was hoping the device could help but I did not expect such powerful results!
Been waiting for the hard sell for a while doc. I really like your content but don't sell your soul to a dodgy pharma/or worse....... Why don't you tell in the video the price is around $900 if you can get it in the US/Can before import shipping? Be honest and up front and you will get more respect, from me at least.
He WAS honest and upfront. He said it’s his FIRST SPONSORED VIDEO. He could have easily spun this so that it looks like it’s something he’s been using for years and highly recommends it yet never touched it like most UA-camrs do. They lie to their audience and say a product is great then you purchase it and realize that it’s cheap and falls apart. This guy has science papers to back up his claim about vagus nerve stimulation. It’s a 30 day money back guaranteed. I see no risk in trying it at least. The price might look like it’s a lot for some people but, would you put a price on your health? And it’s a whole lot cheaper than a lifetime of medications surgery and doctors visits. 30 day trial. Nothing to lose.
Because this is the only video we agreed on so far, so I am not diving deep here just yet. I am excited but I hope we go on a longer collaboration because all these studies take incredible amount of time and I am also super preoccupied with IgG4 story. When it comes to actual sales, how the shipping works, I truly still don't know. Be patient. And yeah, I was waiting for the hard sell off for a while too before I want to jump on board. ;) There have been options before but I did not want to promote something I am not truly sold on, obviously
This company apparently has 2 million uses documented with tracking the safety records. Remember, this is why this is a certified medical device in Europe because it has been tested in clinical trials and the instrument was designed to neuromodulate the vagus nerve specifically via the tragus. But I always agree, the more science and the more complete it is, the better. I am just excited about the potentially easy non-invasive approach to problems that lots of people are complaining about
So happy to hear about therapies fir the vagus nerve and recognition of the importance of vagal tone and balance. I work with the vagus nerve as a manual therapist. Along with the device, I think finding a good therapist whi does visceral and/or neural manipulation, craniosacral or acupuncture could be incredibly helpful. Truly, a holistic approach is needed. Nutrition, etc.
Have you or your patients tried the Sensate device?
First, there is a 30 day trial period but besides that please look at our Vitamin A video on that topic!
I agree it is much less expensive than all the medications that are taken. For me, in medication alone, it would be less than a year for the device to pay for itself. That’s money well spent. They also take PayPal and an extended payment plan with no interest.
Thank you !
@@Merogenomics I truly appreciate your work. This was not a criticism.
This is so cool! The vagus nerve is such and important aspect of health. If one cannot afford the device, gargling and singing can also be helpful.
Thank you, and drop any science on that as I would love to know more on these methods too!

My depression (which as not related to other things as I suffered from as I had depression prior to other issues mentioned) is MUCH BETTER AND LAST SHORTER AMOUNTS OF TIME
DEF WORTH AT LEAST GIVING IT A GO.
@@Merogenomics ~I was intrigued 15apr2024 - by your referral back to this video after the recent Geert V. Bossche predictions for June-July,... and your mention of the Vagus Nerve.

Very interesting news! I read about similar devices in Norman Doidge’s book The Brain that Changes itself. It was very successful in reversing and healing dramatic neurological symptoms. The device in that book would sit under the tongue. This one sounds easier to use. Thank you for sharing this!
Yes and getting ready for the next one! This is a new field of medicine it seems that is just starting
All these symptoms, but gaslighting from my GP doctor has me cured from thinking she can do anything to help.
Thanks for all your work and reporting.
I hope you will find quick recovery now!
Excellent work
That is exactly what they are seeing: application across many conditions. Plan to do more content on that
Just mentioning this but so many people I know have had gut/ metabolic issues after being sick. 😊
Agreed, proper healthy foods is important. I also go for lots of different fermented foods (that I make myself)
Lionsmane and Turkey tale for gut issues.
Also peptides like BK 157 and avoiding gluten, things with added sugars.
Eating raw sauerkraut & kimchi regularly has helped our whole family tremendously. ❤

For those who are unable to afford that type of machine, there are numerous ways to stimulate the vagus nerve, including gargling, breathing exercises, humming, singing, etc. Many online. The key is to find the balances you can over do it as well.

This is nuts. Two years ago after covid I associated what I was having to the vagus nerve… I started using a small cocktail and it worked. I wasn’t sure about the vagus nerve, no one was talking about it… unbelievable.
What was the cocktail you used? If it isn't a secret.. 😊
Should have had a group who got non nerve stimulation ( maybe just a vibration or light come on) … studies with no controls are not very useful. Have seen placebo effects that are very strong. Glad these folks felt better but more stringent studies needed.
Absolutely agreed. I look forward to studying their next science paper on this topic
D mannose is the key ingredient in cranberry . You can buy it separately. Also methylene blue can clear UTIs.

@@jass412 And here are the links to other studies - one about lowering blood pressure is very interesting . "Abstract
Background: Research conducted during the last 15 y has demonstrated that grounding (Earthing) the human body to Earth's surface charge generates multiple beneficial physiological effects.

1. I am unable to concentrate (got covid 2x)
2. Suffer from rheumatoid arthritis due to inflammation of my joints
3. My gut protrudes (I don’t drink nor over eat and believe it’s inflammation)
4. I have constant phlegm even when I’m not sick. I cough it out daily. Sometimes I feel like I have a film in my lungs that makes it hard to breathe.
5. I’m depressed
I’m excited to try this thing. Tonight will be day one. Will update anytime I feel a difference in my body.

@Merogenomics is there any info on hyperbaric chamber use in repairing the vagus nerve?
Sorry, have not looked into that. But I can see the connection potentially on account of how breathing is regulated by it, and hence also the levels of oxygen in the blood
Professor Dr. Clansy reported recently much progress in treating long EBV and long covid with protease inhibitors
A Recap of my symptoms with context (prior to the use of this device) is below:
1. I am unable to concentrate since contracting covid and very unproductive as a result (got covid 2x)
I believe it’s inflammation)
4. I have constant phlegm even when I’m not sick. I cough out quarter sized phlegm multiple times daily. Sometimes I feel like I have a film in my lungs that makes it hard to breathe. (Not a smoker)

Thank you.
YT stinks.

This is what I emailed someone recently in a private conversation:
when it comes to pandemic-related complications, I would be curious to look into the following to see where the issues lie:
- Vagus nerve function - talk to your doctor, this can be assessed by measuring heart rate or breathing rate or other ways of measuring the vagal tone (this is where I am collecting science articles to learn more myself)
- Gut microbiome - NOT sure where to direct at the moment for quality outcome (in terms of quality expertise in results interpretation)
- Clotting capacity - talk to you doctor and you can learn more here: ua-cam.com/video/sTCwxTFA5jI/v-deo.html
- IgG4 antibodies - if mRNA vaccinated, the current science would suggest that you might have elevated levels of IgG4. These might not be good and might require medical intervention and screening for additional complications. To test your IgG4 levels you can learn more here: merogenomics.ca/blog/en/169/Help-for-mRNA-vaccinated-protecting-the-innate-immune-system
My current immediate solution that I would be considering right away that appeals to me the most is non-invasive vagus nerve neuromodulation. Here is why: merogenomics.ca/blog/en/170/Is-it-all-because-of-vagus-nerve-damage
Back to you: looking at your symptoms, some could indeed overlap with the vagus nerve, some are new to me with regards to whether they could be linked or not, but they all sound like linked to nerves being affected.
Maybe ask for a referral to a neurology specialist if you haven't gone there already?
But at least I hope this gives you some direction to research. Wishing you all the best!!!
You can try searching for Dr Haider, and the flccc. they have a long list of free protocols.
Would this help with excruciating nerve pain - neuropathy?
From what I am studying now around the vagus nerve and using both neuromodulation and red light (as requested by the participants of the last COVID Q&A - which also could work via the vagus nerve among other things), I certainly would consider it: first and foremost to see if it could reduce inflammation which could then translate to reduced pain. Nueromodulation, including this device apparently, is supposed to be very promising for dealing with pain, but I still have to get through the science.
Just purchased. I’ll update in 30 days
OMGG! I am so excited, please please let me know! I really hope this can help! Email me with details or drop info here. You also have 30 days return policy so ample of time to find out if it can help your symptoms or not
It would be really wonderful if you might list NOW the symptoms you've been experiencing (good and bad) so that we can all see together the shifts expereienced in one month (or other periods) of time of use. Very good! I am sure you have made this list for yourself . . . I hope! Cheers, and best of luck!
I purchased one as well. Thank you for the information doc.
Please keep me posted on how the medical device works for you, either here or email me privately! Thank you
An update from using it after 1 month would be great, thanks
How is this device different from a TENS unit except placement of the lead(s)?
Thank you for asking since I didn't know about this. It looks to me like approach is similar but different nerves are targeted as the purpose is different. But the concept is similar. The point here though is that you need to get the right signals correctly to the target nerve you want

Is there anything for arrhythmia , sudden changes in BP, orthostatic hypotension etc. all, post covid.
Can't remember directly but changes in BP rings a bell. Heart is clearly impacted but at the moment I know of testing on atrial fibrillation that has been done in the past
@@Merogenomics Thank you.

What is the difference between this device and a TENS machine? It is significantly more expensive.
Probably speed and intensity of stimulation. Maybe the frequency/duty cycle, so completely different from TENS, in other words.

Never saw any science on that with regards to the vagus nerve but do check out my video on vitamin A!!!

@@Merogenomics thank you! Love your work.
I bought a vagus nerve stimulator early last year but had couple episodes of sleep paralysis and stopped. Going to read the paper now to see what settings they used and have another go at it. I did return to work around this time but i was doing so many different things that I couldn't definitively say what it was that might have helped.
I think time helped me.
My aunt has tinnitus since booster & someone told her to hum as much as she can and it seems to be helping her. Something about vagus nerve?
@@MK-ih6wp absolutely you hum on your exhale and the vibration directly affects your vagus nerve, it is instantly calming. Lovely if you can close your eyes and gently place fingers to ' close' ears.
@@MK-ih6wpor maybe Nitric Oxide production is low. I noticed I have felt some relief with beet juice and pomegranate juice. I use those saliva test strips and find that all day I am always low on Nitric Oxide. Did a biome test with bristle health and found I am very low on Nitric Oxide producing bacteria. Just started doing tongue scrapping so hopefully it helps. From my understanding humming will increase Nitric Oxide production also.
I am also super interested in the idea of breathing exercises for helping the vagus nerve as well. Anything that is non invasive. I started collecting some science (now finding time to study, uff)

The charge is still pending so I’m not sure if shipping has been charged yet or not.
What I do know is that because it is coming from outside of u.s, it will have to clear customs. At customs they might charge a broker fee but it’s usually nothing crazy, $16 USD or so. So not too bad.

What type of fermented foods do you eat?
Kimchi, sauerkraut, Polish pickles, white borsch (Polish recipe). I tried fermenting beets but I keep failing :D
Is this a PEMF unit?
That is the common factor between the two
OK thanks, I hope to get a reaction from dr. Raszek about this issue. 22 Nov 2023.
@@radiofun232 They deleted my comment to you about the pl@smid D/N/A Cont@m!nation that has been confirmed in the s/h0ts.

Has anyone in the US tried to purchase this device? Were you able to check out?
Yep just checked out now. Before you check out they do a questionnaire to see if you are a candidate or not for the device. Be honest because they tune the device to your specific needs and you can get harmed if you give them the wrong info because as I said they tailor it to YOUR NEEDS.
To answer your question yep. Shipping was no problem.
@@Whupps-j3t thank you 😊
My pleasure. 😊
More good stuff, Dr. Thanks, as always.
Brainstem root of vagus, plenty of attached spike.
I wounder tough when they deteriorade if the just go away or makes these Amyloid microclots in the same Area. Also the feedback loop down to the RAS system just explained so much why some have this POTS. Very intresting.
A studie from Lindköping also found for example that on some, disolved S-protein parts, the fibrin grew out like a long bar instead of ball.
Has anyone else with a vaccine injury developed ocular migraines or “white bubbles” in their peripheral vision? Worsened POTS? High red blood cell count? Kidney disease? Enlarged atrium? Fatigue? I was told that my brain was inflamed. So sorry I got vaxxed. And sorry for all who have suffered from the bioweapon or the vax!!
Try Gaba it is for the nervous system it has helped me with the tinnitus got from 2 shots of Pfzer and my joint pain as well and tingling in both hands
@@lizanderson1669 I turned it down. Had it many years ago for a back problem, felt very “off”. Ended up on an F patch, yup, that one, weened off that after a decade. Could write a book about that.
Good luck.
What about CBD ?
Seems YT stopped listing your videos under my subscriptions, just fyi.
I checked and I have the bell set to "All" too.
So we’re still pretending V symptoms are “long C”?
Why pretend? There are those who had issues post infections and those post gene therapy. I suppose it is all lumped into Long COVID category but that is not what this study was looking at
What's the name of this device?
Nurosym but the article might mention the company name: Parasym
Long covid or vac injury??
This study was long COVID but long Vax has a very similar profile of symptoms, so you can lump it into long spike injury

My question is how is the device different from a TENS unit
Because this is the only video we agreed on so far, so I am not diving deep here just yet. I am excited but I hope we go on a longer collaboration because all these studies take incredible amount of time and I am also super preoccupied with IgG4 story. When it comes to actual sales, how the shipping works, I truly still don't know. Be patient. And yeah, I was waiting for the hard sell off for a while too before I want to jump on board. ;) There have been options before but I did not want to promote something I am not truly sold on, obviously
:)😊

The moment I’ve been waiting for, Selling a useless product and might be dangerous too
This company apparently has 2 million uses documented with tracking the safety records. Remember, this is why this is a certified medical device in Europe because it has been tested in clinical trials and the instrument was designed to neuromodulate the vagus nerve specifically via the tragus. But I always agree, the more science and the more complete it is, the better. I am just excited about the potentially easy non-invasive approach to problems that lots of people are complaining about
Nothing to do with the injections, nothing at all
nothing to see here! Nothing at all! But whatever the cause of symptoms, the question is how to help?
