love the Road 5s for mixed UK road riding (damp, cold, wet, poor surface), found them very reassuring. Will try the 6s when I need to replace them....good job Michelin!
Have to say after 2 months riding in the wet and sunny conditions Here in the U.K. and at times quite cold , the Road 6 have been amazing on my 1200 GSA. So much confidence like you said. I’ve not had the Road 5 so I’ve no idea if the are any better, but I do know ill be sticking with these on the next tyre change.
Thank you for this review, You've answered all my questions. I had Road 5's put on about a year ago and have rode 12.5k miles since then and now they are almost completely shot, but this is twice what I got on my stock Corsa's. Can't wait for the Road 6's. Thanks again
Putting a set on my BMW F800st this week. I hope to set off on a trip across Australia later this year to see family and ride some mountainous twisties. Well compared to Europe our mountains are just a pimple on the landscape. It's a 3500km trip just to get there and across the Nullarbor one of the straightest roads in the world. These tyres will be put through their paces.
Lovely review !!! My next tyre is definetly M road 6 for my S1000XR Do some more great videos and keep that lovely smile you have... The best tyre video with a lot of tehnical data SUPERBBBB
The video was good and I will test the Road 6 on my 1290 SAS and on my ST1300 as soon as the Road 5 GT has passed away, but there is a slight blur in your report as well as in the Road 6 design process. You said the Road 6 GT were specially designed for heavy adventure bikes pointing to the 1250 GS in the background. But even for the heavy GS Adventure only the Road 6 fits in dimensions 120/70 ZR 19 or 170/60 ZR 17. The Road 6 GT is not even available in 19'' and the weight of the GSA is not much away from the 1250 RT for which the Road 6 GT fits. Strange thing is that even more heavy bikes like the Honda Pan European (330 kg fully fueled) can only use the Road 6, not the Road 6 GT. Someone should understand this?
I've got the non-GT version on my 1250GS (4,500 miles so far) as they don't come in a GT version in GS sizes as you said. No problems at all and great grip/feel. I only weigh 70kg and don't carry a passenger or much luggage so I'll be going for the non-GT version next time even if it's available.
Ive just bought a pair for my Speed Triple RR. Im going to europe for a week, and didnt fancy having to change my tyres on the way home. So whilst they maybe not the sporty tyre, im hopeful they are still grippy enough!
Lg
Once I receive my new Tracer 9 GT and the OEM tires are worn out. I will switch out to these new Road 6 GT tires. I've always trusted the Road series tires on my last bike Concours 1400.
Road 6 or 6 GT ‘s for my v4 pikes peak?? I’m thinking GT version as I have some trips planned this year and have now covered 5000 miles since august last year. Fitted new set of Pirelli Diablo 4’s at 4000 miles, after the standard Diablo 4’s. These are much softer for feel which is pretty normal but with 99% of my riding in twistiest of Scotland I dint think I’ll get 3000 from this set🤞. 👍
İts really nice to find your video what ı asked to search tire to my tiger desert edition but some how u told gt ı needed but my service says road 6 is ok for 1200 tiger 🤔
I've bn running Bridgestone.T32.ive gt 6000km.out of them maybe another 1000 km the bck one will be kaput mainly threw the middle .definitely am putting some road 6 s on .can't afford to be paying so much for tyres if they don't last.
I just covered my 1st 500km on my Tracer 900gt with road 6 GT fitted, Unbelievable tyre in both heavy rain and dry weather. In the wet these are Unbelievable also the road noises is next to nothing. I went with the Road 6 GT as I ride two up often with Panniers and top box also the extra strength in the GT is better for Irish roads 👌
My tyres are pretty old now. I have a Power on the front and a Road on the back wheel. I don't ride a great amount nowadays, so when they need to be changed, I might well get a pair of Power 5's, but can anyone tell me why the initial tread depths on more grippy/sport tyres is always far less than on the sport touring alternatives ? Is it to stop tyre squirming because of softer compounds or purely a cash cow for tyre manufacturers ? I suspect it's the latter !
There is an A and a B spec tyre for the Pilot 6GT - what is the difference? I have a BMW R1250RS and the B-spec tyre was fitted since apparently the A-spec is not really suited. Anyone knows the difference of the A and B?
I think you should represent Germany so why do speak English the most time. It is nice that you can. But this is not the intention and does not bring more subs at all because your reachment depends a lot on the place where you have registered your channel.
Just remember what Alanis Morissette sang: When they Dine you Wine you… 😝😝 You are just playing your part in this symbiotic relationship with the industry 😳😳 I guess we should all run out and buy this new tire 🛞 Everything is so perfect on these launches. 👍👍
Road 5 are the best tyre I have used for road riding. So much grip and confidence. Making that even better is amazing.
The Road 6 GT's are the best tires I've ever run on my 2014 BMW K1600GT - totally amazing!

Somehow you make a tyre review fun and interesting. You are amazing at anything you do😊

I open up z900 in full wet U.K. I commute 350 days a year. Even on frosty ice with road5s with no issues….road6…..can’t wait to fit. Xxxxxx

How's the tyres performance on XR? Which one suits XR best, PR6 or PR6GT?
Got a set put on the other day. Hated the first 30 seconds but love them now.
I enjoyed your video, Road 6 are wonderful tyres 😊, thank you Juliane.

Possibly that because the tyre is quite recently introduced not yet all sizes are available in the GT-version.
Looks like it was an awesome day. Great way to "show, not tell" the performance of the new tires. Great video! 👍
I just ordered some Road 6 for my Z900 ! Cant wait to try them :) Been a Bridgestone fanbooi sooo hope they dont disappoint!
Might get a pair for my street triple! Thanks for the review and fun Juliane 👍🏽😊♥️🏍

Just an opportunity to watch beautiful juliane, wonderful
Aside from the road 6’s I have, the cooking part at the end looked fun…and the wine room of course. Cheers 🥂👍🇨🇦🤪
Thanks for the review! Sounds like a great upgrade from the road 5gt that i use now
Hi Juliane, great review and video. These look very confidence inspiring. 👍😎🇦🇺
They’re next up for my KTM. Great review 👍
Very informative with great moderation 👌🏻

Would u do a tyre test and compare a few difernt makes .id like to hear ur opin of a few dif makes side by side.
Smart groove design, the same as on my Michelin Crossclimate car tyres.
Juliane, we appreciate your in-depth knowledge and all the motorcycle videos. I ride the Kawasaki Z900 RS. What part of Spain are you in?
3:00 you guys make a great looking couple.
Thank you very much for the substitutes in Spanish 👏🏻👏🏻👏🏻👍🏻😀
These tyres okay for a super sports bike on the road or only aimed at touring bikes?
Sorry, off topic, but didn’t know how to reach you. Nightster review please Julianna.
Btw been through 3sets of front brake pads before the road5 runs ou!!!
Exquisite.

Did you have GTs front and rear?
@Blondie Hello Blondie,
Yes I am very happy with also a friend of mine did the same with his Tracer 9 gt and is very happy with the choice.
Awesome !!
Which bike do u own mam 😊.... Love from india 🤗
What you think about Suzuki boulevard 109
Great, subbed.
I just replaced my rear road 5 with another road 5. The road 6 was $50 more.

It could be both, yes?
Where can i buy i am from the philippines
What is the significant differences between road 6 and road 6 gt?
GT is made to be on a heavier bike
Seee you in 5k miles when my r5 run out.
😅its not any room! Its a "cellier" or " cellar" in english...
1:45 😍🍴
What an awesome channel. *sigh
I ride >90% in dry conditions, so this tyre, for me, is going the wrong direction..

Stay with the English, doing great.
You look more confident on a bike then in a kitchen 😉
Umm, marry me? 😂

She represents Germany exceptionally well, regardless of which language she is speaking.
