I'm a Miami native, and must admit that Versailles is one of my top places for old school Cuban food in Miami. In my opinion though, Sergios and La Carreta have a better Cuban Sandwich. The top two places on my list are Sanguich De Miami, and Sarussi Subs on Bird Rd.
Visited Versailles restaurant during a visit to Miami Christmas/New Year 2016/17 staying with my g/f's daughter. Food was brilliant - Cuban roast pork with (amongst other things) fried plantains. Only thing was, for some reason, the place seemed extremely noisy and echoey. Made it difficult to hold a conversation. Agree about Cuban coffee - next best thing to a proper Italian espresso. Went to a place in Little Havana and bought some to make at home. Miami is a fascinating place - free public transport in the central areas and great, warm weather in December/January. Also had a day out in the Everglades to see the 'gators. Lots of good food - maybe for locals it's not the best place, but we liked Coyo Taco in Wynwood and Brickell...especially the free chillies and salsas to which you could help yourself to as much as you wanted. Cheers, Keith (Brit in Berlin)
Yowza. Just hearing the crunch, as you eat it, assures me that this is one spectacular sandwich! Thanks for sharing this David. I had always wondered what went into a “Cuban” and now I know!
Cool VR video David 👍 I visited Miami 3 years ago and I still miss Versailles - their Cuban sandwich and cafe colada are to die for. If Miami was much closer to Australia I’d fly there again in a heartbeat!
My favorite sandwich. So many places dont do it right. I may need to go check this place out...but they definitely need to hook me up with some more pickles though.
I was really scared to try cuban cuisine in Cuba because of all the cats stories ,so Versailles was my first taste of cuban delicacies including their cafecito.
I watched this on my TV not realizing it’s a VR video. It was decent. The sandwich looked good, but not my favorite video by you. It lacked some of the polish of your other videos and it was difficult to hear you in the dining area.
So much for cutting the hams uniform so all the sandwiches weigh the same... proceeds to cut one half longer tha the other, making 2 of the 4 smaller. Lol
This is so much fun...thank you for the experience. I feel we are in the kitchen with you🤗👏🏽
VR 180 AMAZING

Great video David. Just one issue, white subtitles on a white background..........not so great.
2 pickles ?.....man that's stingy
Same thought here. It looks well made, but I need like 10 pickle slices on my Cuban
3 LBS sammy? Wow!

Versailles' sanguich cubano is over rated!!! Only good thing is the café cortado.
Brother please come to my home at udalguri district (assam)
Can you re do this without 360. The definition is awful
You need to talk to the camera guy! Other wise great video

Most overrated restaurant in Miami. The tourist get fooled into going to this place. It sucks
All you did was show a video of the floor!
Unfortunately this has terrible filming, couldn't see most of the last half once the sando was finished!! BOO, HISS
Brother this 180 is irritating
quality so bad!
Dude your so awkward in front of the camera
