I’m only disappointed they ended the SEGA AGES project as early as they had. Imagine Phantasy Star 2 with the AGES treatment: maps, less grinding, and possibly adding backgrounds into the battle scenes…
Cool I had no idea that compilations like these existed before that's pretty sweet thanks for reviewing this on the Nintendo switch no less this must be the newset version
Really hoping for a Sega Ages +, focusing on later sega arcade boards/consoles, I've bought and loved almost all of these games, but I do feel like the megadrive and early arcade sega games are a bit over represented for modern ports even before Switch Sega Ages. I think I read an article saying there was very little interest in these games from japanese players I know they did extensive surveying with these releases so I hope that their feedback was more in line with what kinds of sega classics I would want to see on the switch, if they do decide to follow up on Sega Ages.
I agree, SEGA seems to overly stick to the same select number of games. Yes they may sell well, but would be nice to see other more niche titles have some time in the lime light
something i'm surprised you never went into more is the online leaderboards. nearly every game has leaderboards with full replay support, and i've spent quite a few hours trying my hand at climbing them. outrun, virtua racing, the thunder force games, and space harrier all benefit massively from them, and those are just out of the ones i've played.
I WANT THE COMPLETE SEGA AGES LIBRARY ON SWITCH is it going to be there yes or no please respond devoted Sega fan There have so many great games I want to try them all
