    I’m glad to see you making more Lsa videos Terry. Installing a blower on an LSX engine is the holy grail of engine mods, and you make it so easy.. I have referred to your videos countless times for instructions and my complete install including cam swap and crank pining worked out great. Thanks again Brother for the easy to understand tips, tricks and encouragement

    Dude I've watched this video so many times just to hear the part where it says Let The Rhythm Hit Em and u start blazing them tires! This is probably one of the most OnPoint videos I've ever seen on UA-cam. I'm in between going turbo charged LS in my 84 Z28 or supercharger I'm just looking for some reliable power that's going to last. How many miles do you have on that supercharger setup? Are there reliable miles or miles that sometimes you regret not staying naturally aspirated? Keep up the good work my man it's 100

    Coverman, I'm having a hard time figuring out what your running now, You had a vid a while back showing a spring change from ly2 heads to ly3 heads, so I thought you were running an ly3 block. Is everything now a stock ly6 with the lsa, with the exception of the cam/spring upgrade? and did you have to do any modifications on the heads to accommodate for the increased valve lift? Thanks And a big thanks for sharing! this is a perfect steetable hot rod set up!

    Terry are you going to put your front bumper back on. And why is it missing.

    • @Coverman66
      @Coverman66  5 років тому

      the original bumper is a lil pitted so depending on what color i paint the car i will either paint it or get a new chrome bumper. so instead of buying a new bumper that i may not user.. i drive around without one lol

      it seems like the supply of “warranty “ Lsa blowers is drying up. About 18 months ago when I bought mine from ZZ Performance they were everywhere. Now I’m not seeing anyone who sells them. Most of the adds are for porting service or re-building them, not selling them. Keep looking, they are out there. Good luck.

      Sounds good. Does the ls2 have the 3 bolt pattern or the single bolt. ? I’ve done a ton of the older Ls1 engine swaps and cam swaps in my older cars. But never the 06 or newer

  • @Sir.VicsMasher
    @Sir.VicsMasher 6 років тому

    Gap those piston rings and you'll never have to worry about hurting the engine as seen by Engine Masters making 1,600hp+ with their boosted stock LY6 with re-gaped rings.

      coverman66 can you do a parts list for your ly6 lsa build. Or just make a vid. Everything like what gear your running, injector size,exhaust, so on and so forth. I have a 72 and I love the way you make power on the pump. I love this build dude!

      coverman66 This channel is my go to for my build. Your videos are my exact explanation on why I wanna go lsa on my 6.2 Vortec. I want boost. But don’t want to mix and match a bunch of aftermarket stuff. Love the idea of turbo but I see more parts and pieces that will break or to have more mistakes made during the build. Going with a GM built supercharger that was made for my motor makes the most sense. Especially for the hp range I want. 6-700 hp is plenty to brag about and to have where it is dependable.....?!?!!!! I’ll take that any day.
