Urban Sketching Vlog in Tübingen, Germany

- Recently I've been really enjoying drawing and painting in this tiny old german town called Tübingen. If you ever visit you will probably be astonished by how small the place is, but for young aspiring watercolor artists like me it is the absolute heaven on earth!
The people are friendly, every two meters there's something new to paint, and usually the weather holds up as well. I did struggle with some rain in this vlog but that's just part of the Plein Air Lifestyle I guess.
I hope you enjoy my little trip! And if you want to see more sketches and paintings from all over Germany, feel free to check out my Instagram: www.instagram....
Thanks for watching everyone!

This was so cool!!! Your artwork is stunning! Do you think you could do a sketchbook tour of this book once you’re done and maybe your old sketchbooks too?
jessica p thank you!! Sure I could! Just need to figure out how to prop up my camera while filming. But as soon as I figure that out I could go through my latest sketchbook because that one is my favorite anyways ☝🏻

Such a beautiful landscape!!!!! I will mark it in my travel plan. I have never been there, but I only knew Dresden in Germany, which is also a good place to travel and do some urban sketching.
Woah you’re so lucky! Beautiful place. No where near me is this interesting to draw and paint.

This was such a lovely video to watch!
Wow! Your paintings are gorgeous! Such a cute little town! What watercolors/materials do you use?
I am fascinated by all your drawings. Now I am inspired to practice more in the area of drawing.
By the way, was that tea (or coffee) good? It looked great.
Mandarina Areli ohh so glad to hear that :)) and yeah the tea was super good! I later found out that it was a completely zero waste store and the tea and all their products were organic so maybe that’s why it was so good. The owner wanted me to go vegan at the end of our talk 😂
Lovely pictures!♡
Amazing paintings and video
Omg your hometown is awesome

such a wholesome and inspiring video, from the very first minutes on it made me excited to go outside and paint Plein air again This is a little bit random but do you happen to know any nice spots to draw in Munich ? I'm gonna visit in September :D
You are awesome.
Haii i'm a 11 year old girl my mum and her friend were talking and my mums friend told my mum there is a Art College near her house because i'm kind of good at drawing. Now my dream college is California blah blah art college, where you went. Well i want to ask you what you did for coming to this college, what you learnt, what kind of things is there in the test for coming to the college and how hard it was to get in this college. please read this. even your video was 2 month ago. Love ya! 😘😘
Haeli K hi!! I just drew a lot, and started to keep sketchbooks and bring them every where I went. When I was 14 I started taking life drawing lessons and went to draw animals in the zoo and people in public transportation. So just drawing a lot prepared me for applying to CalArts I think :) they only accept a hand full of students into my program but if you work hard on your drawing and really love it I have no doubt you can get in. In order to apply you need to send in a portfolio and a sketchbook of yours. Good luck!
Do you learn math eng in calarts?
Haeli K no i pretty much only take art classes and a few critical studies ones. No math though luckily! I believe there is an English class for international students though
