and the German business class was disappointing. Usually now it’s 1-2-1, but here it’s 2-2-2. You have to constantly step over a stranger when you need to go out.

What a nice flight! The approach to Haneda was exciting. The baggage claim was so orderly and quiet - unlike most USA airports - elbowing, loud talking. That blue line on the floor and an attendant adjusting luggage tags, so civilized!

I think the pilot forgot to flare but the view is phenomenal. The scenery is breathtaking and the beautiful wing view like this is just spectacular.
sometimes harder landings are better or even necessary depending on the airline and the circumstances. I think in some Manuals for Boeing Machines is written to land more firmly than smooth.

I very like your style of the videos! Especially, as I mentioned before in your MUC-CDG video with LH, is my fav part always the Checkin/boarding process. It’s nice to see Frankfurt airport, watching the planes hearing the people and boarding announcements. Thanks for that :)
I flew Lufthansas 747-4 Frankfurt to Seoul last september and except for the terrible food in the lounge and the flight attendants never learning I don't speak German for 11 hours, it was a pleasant experience with everything you would expect from a cheap(-er) business class ticket.
P.S. If you get the chance to fly the 747 in business class, do pick a seat in the upper cabin. You get the ammenities of a long haul flight, and the feeling of a small jet. Very cozy
My return flight in december was on a 747-8 (I believe), and except getting some pretty rude flight attendants, that too was a very nice experience. The flight from Seoul to Frankfurt in late december gives an almost magical view. Since the flight is westbound you get an incredibly long sunset all the way from China to around Turkey, very beautiful
Wow amazing video! Once I got late to Frankfurt airport for my connection flight to Delhi, India. (My first time in Frankfurt airport.. oh its huge) I was like 5 min late and I was running to catch the flight. To my surprise when I got to the gate all people where still there waiting boarding the plane.
The reason for the delayed take off was that they where waiting for a old lady who had called them and told them that she was late so they kindly waited for her. So I was very lucky that day and the lady finally came and the plane took off to India.
But it did not stop there..as we where heading to Delhi airport it was an announcement in the loudspeakers from the Captain: Due to intense fog in Delhi we can not land in Delhi so we will fly to Mumbai and stay overnight there.
As the plane turned we all 450 onboard (it was a huge Airbus) saw on the right side The Mighty Himalays in a distance glowing in the morning sun.. oh what a sight! As we landed in Mumbai we where transported to a huge luxury hotel just a five min bus ride from the airport. I got a room on top of the tall buildningand I had a great day there in Mumbai thanks to Lufthansa's great services!

Never take something like this for granted. That this plane flew all the way from Frankfort to Tokyo is just shy of a miracle with all those people, all that baggage, and all that food and drink.
