I play this style of tennis. My critique would be you need to improve your net once you set to finish and you have some very high ball when you aren't playing defensive. This style is all about forcing defensive short ball and hammering them down. + Down the line fh and bh.

Good play Andrew! The ball you called out was clearly out .
Michael ‘s backhand slice is very good, sometime is hard to volley the backspin low slice.
Two things maybe you can try next time: 1, play his backhand, suddenly to attack his forehand then go to volley. Since his forehand looks not much powerful. Mixing up with attack and volley on the backhand side. 2, seems he doesn’t like going to net, so maybe you can slice short let him go up, and try his volley.

@Hong H His forehand is sneaky good, especially hitting it on the run. It's been a while since I played him last, but if I learned anything from those matches, it is not to attack his forehand. Your second point is spot on! I should have mixed in some more drop shots.

I really like your serve Andrew.
Are you able to show your complete serve motion?

@Caocao Thanks! I've been considering making a video trying to fix my flat serve. Maybe I'll highlight my kick serve in that video for you.

Hey you got good game man. I would work on on your first serve, its more like a second and doesn't hurt your opponents as much as it could. Also I think there was a couple short high bounce balls that you should have punished your opponent more, by either flattening your ground stroke out or hitting into the open court.but instead they were a little too spinny with less pace

@Leo paz I tend to hit with a lot of top spin. I have been flatting it out a bit more, but on those approach shots, I could do with flatting them out further!

Remember to split step when running toward the net and every hit thereafter. Saw a few times u didn’t split step running toward net and it could very well make a difference!

@J D There were a few huh! The one that stuck out the most to me was at @3:25. Defiantly need to practice my volleying footwork.
