Love salt on top of soap. Beautiful bars. My 3 yr old granddaughter loves the 'soaps' and your videos. First time we watched one together she pointed to you and said "The mom." So now if she needs some down time, I ask "Do you want to watch the mom make soaps?" She loves you. ❤

Ellen, I'm sure you hear this all the time but I always watch your videos for soaping inspiration! I had stopped soaping for awhile because I had gotten too busy but when I started binge watching you (instead of Netflix lol) I was inspired to start up again. My friends & family thank you! Oh, thank you so much! I'm so glad you're getting back into soaping! That's awesome! My stamp is about 3" long, but you can get it customized to whatever size your logo is, and or, what size your soaps are....
@@EllenRuthSoap That's about what I figured. I usually use the Brambleberry loaf mold but just got the basket/liner combo from Essential Depot which I know makes a slightly bigger bar so I'm going back and forth regarding the height. I use goat milk in all my soaps so the logo is the simple outline of a goat's head flnaked by 2 thin lines over my company name. I like clean lines for this kind of thing! Anyway, your stamp looks like the perfect size for use on the front or the side depending on the height which is why I asked! And maybe .5" high? Either way, thank you again! I'm getting ready to send a soap care package to my son's best friend in Iraq tomorrow. I think he's happier than anyone that I'm soaping again!😂
Hempseed oil is a great oil. Hemp is a pretty environmentally friendly crop. It is naturally pest resistant.

Looks just like my facial detox bar except I divide in thirds with some rose clay to pretty up but I see you did add some pink sea salt to give the dark bars some color👍🙋♀️beautiful!

I love both scents. Rosemary also as a spice. With tea tree oil I always clean my windows 😁, that works great!

Ellen these bars look so lovely. Thanks for sharing. Question, you add sugar to the aloe Vera juice and dissolved the sugar in that way. Then you add the lye to the sugary aloe Vera solution. Correct? If so, what is the percentage usage of sugar po oil? Or pp of soap? Thanks. ❤️
Thanks 🥰 yes, I add the sugar to the Aloe before the lye, I use 1T in this, but you can use 1tsp per lb of oils

Thanks! Yes, you heard right. If the tops are dull, you can use a clothes steamer to shine them up.

Ellen what are the spots on the soap ? I made soap and that happened what causes that? Beautiful soap by the way 😊
I believe they are stearic spots. I insulate my soaps to go thru gel phase and they get really hot, it think that's the cause.
