Sierra Ferrell. The finest voice in bluegrass music. Terrific songwriting and all star band. Sierra Ferrell and Billy Strings bringing bluegrass to the masses.
This constant touring has made this quartet so tight, yet still creatively loose and exciting. The fills/leads of Josie and Josh just keep getting better...seems never are two performances the same from them...just having fun making great music. The increasing size of the audiences affirming that. Sure is fun watching Sierra develop into such a terrific performer on top of her ridiculous talent. Saw them twice on the 21 tour and they were great, but still getting used to performing/touring. The experience and hours logged have knocked them up to a whole nother level this year. Saw them in April 22 and will see them in September...headlining a three day roots/country festival no less. Great stuff.
Well said. The speed of the evolution of each song has been astonishing. Saw her in April as well and the vids I see now, six months later, are filled with expanding on little details and you can can tell they do get more and more comfortable. The already amazing voices and musicianship improves exponentially. I think the most important thing I notice is that they are all having loads of fun at every show. Especially Sierra. This is without a doubt the best thing I've stumbled onto in a long time.
@@bryanharrell4059 Agree. Bumped into Sierra briefly at the Bristol Roots Festival a month ago before her performance. All I said to her was just to keep having fun like you are doing. Hour later, she utterly killed it with the band. All that said, I think she needs to get the new album out and freshen up the show song list with some new music and covers.
Love the seamless transition to the solos at the end of Chappel song. I LOVE HER and her BAND. Her songs will last forever and they will be covered by many
Y'all , don't quit those tight vocal harmonies and arrangements, that strumming and fine playing them instruments, and the real, earthy, grounded sound! We're all ta gettin' warm ear aches from your sweet music in collective audio bliss!
Thank you for posting this entire run. Miss Sierra and her band work so hard to be this good. 2022 tour has been a long one for them with more to come. God Bless you Miss Sierra
Many of her concerts? Artphot, you chronicled her entire post-covid 2021 tour and more in 2022! And we are all very grateful to you for your tireless effort, expense, and generosity in sharing it with us.
@@ozzieartphot3531 Saw her at Bristol 9/10/22. Boy, have they come a long way since 3/21 when I first saw her/them play to 100 audience in Burlington VT...stage presence, sound, tightness, confidence...everything. And, my oh my, have the crowds grown.
Sierra and later, the Turnpike Troubadours made for a great day. Last day for the stage (and the location) as they move Floydfest to a new location for next year. Sierra cancelled a lot of dates not too soon afterwards citing exhaustion. Got my CD signed ;^)
Very nice! I said hi to her in the VIP tent as well as saw the folks from the troubladors. It was a good weekend although I was only there for half of Saturday and Sunday due to a dummy camp. I will always prioritize music festivals over that kind of stuff!!
dummy camp? Sierra was my #1 must see show this year. caught her at the Workshop also where I got the autograph. I might have been about 30 feet to your right in the clip.
@@TheJhtlag I think I meant to say summer camp. I did see a little over half of her set at the workshop. Under the left speaker where the audio was not good even in person so I decided not to record!
@@spongeorpete7289 Green with envy. Doubt she is referring to the recording. Read enough comments on Sierra and you will find some haters. Always women...sad. Cool thing is that Ms. Ferrell seems to have no fucks given. Thanks for your amazing video. Essence captured, my friend.👏✊🤘
Video quality is bad but audio quality is fine.
Great quality video and audio...thank you for generously posting for us to enjoy.
It's all excellent!
@@artphot Yea, very good for one guy with a camera.
Now the headliner for 2024 Floyd Fest!!! An amazing voice.

Fine voice indeed.
I love bluegrass but she often ventures outside of that genre in delightful ways.

Miss you Josie❤

Exactly how I feel. I hope these four can stay together for the long haul.

Lots of talent on that stage!
The magic is still there!!!!
You are fortunate that you got to record Sierra’s “Rosemary” song I recorded video at many of her concerts but never
got to hear that song in person.
