I listen to a LOT of music of all kinds. A LOT. And she is hands down one of the greatest improvisational soloists on any instrument I have ever heard. Such well Constructed and well developed solos while being technically solid and playing expressively. Such a command of the instrument at such a relatively young age.
The most talented musician couple ever. Sierrra Hulls mandolin playing is unequaled and Justin Moses plays all string instruments and plays them perfectly; Guitar, Dobro, Mandolin, Banjo, Fiddle, & Bass. He must be from another planet

And is there a stringed instrument that gentleman can't play, and play well? I think not. Such talent, the both of them. Blessings, they are.
Pretty amazing. I heard one of her songs a couple of days ago on the radio, and had to hear more. Great playing, great singing, and she's a real sweetheart. Her partner here is pretty great too. There are easier things in life than playing bluegrass guitar.

I know he plays in Ricky Skaggs band, but i would like to see him in the smaller venues, with the spotlight more on him. Ya'll please come to Louisville.

I like the look of the guitar that Justin was playing at the start of this video. I saw "The Weber" on the headstock but I haven't been able to find the website for the company that makes that guitar. I only found a Weber that makes mandolins or one that only has electric guitars but no acoustics.
Personally I'm glad she's taking time about career. Once she finishes college she might start to explore Nashville, but she has so many contacts like Allison Krauss to guide her thru the murky music industry. She's not letting herself being catapulted like the pop divas. She's a small town town girl living humbly.

Saw her in person in FL few years ago. She announced from the stage that she is recently old enough to rent a car (25?) Was traveling with her bassist, only.
I know a tuba doesn't have strings, but if Justin Moses picked one up and played amazingly I wouldn't be surprised. He seems able to play anything exceedingly well. Sierra Hull's no slouch either! Great performance.
