I believe he may be this generation's Hendrix. He's totally connected to his instrument. Whatever sound he hears in his head he can produce with his hands and his guitar.
Since I saw him last year in Portland Maine when I go through my day to day life all I can hear is him ripping one over and over and over the going up and down the neck of that gutair when someone is talking I’m only Half listening cuz I’m my head this is all I hear. Is this normal lol does this happen to anyone else
He's not this generation's Hendricks or anything He's this generation's Billy strings. Because you can't compare them to any of them really cuz he's better than all of them I mean none of them did any of this none of them can play guitar like him and sound the way he sound listening to the muddy Creek show you'll see
Billy is starting to look like a metal performer, dirty looking unwashed long hair, ragged clothes, and his banjo player looks just as shabby as him but their music is pure explosive blue grass, no one is better. I hope he cleans up a little, and gets a hair cut, his music may be blue grass, but his dress is Heavy metal Rock, it throws off his presentation.

This is unique. Billy's singing voice is so perfect for the music. Every band member is a virtuoso on their instrument and they play seamlessly.

I liken him more so to Jerry G as a guitarist. Jerry started out bluegrass.

I couldn't agree more. The only difference being that he was blessed with a better singing voice imho.
Hendrix couldn't play Blue grass, or anything with a melody, he was mostly screeching noise and his voice was similar to a Carolina bull frog UGH!!!
