This is one of those topics that you can take a break from for 10 years and when you come back you see that none of the arguments and debates have changed and no new ideas have come forward. Just an ever diminishing quality of "strategists".
Everything has changed in the past 10 years. Everything has changed in the past 5 years.
@@GeoScorpion Name them.
@@lucianopavarotti2843 Name what has changed? Where would you like me to begin? I will happily debate you on any topic and you're welcome to use English, Mandarin, Spanish, Polish and Russian. I'm pretty comfortable with those languages. But put your money on the table: What makes you think ANYTHING is the same, or was that just a throw-away, snarky, comment to make yourself feel good?
@@GeoScorpion I see that amongst your linguistic skills you also have a mastery of double Dutch.
Victory is our strategy, what a US stategist😂
工業部門經歷了製造業過剩、服務業無助的階段…試圖調整國內製造和歐洲製造
The issue here is the U S A, thinks that it's invisible there for it has the right to talk about others yet it lost to Vietnam Afghanistan Somalia, when you keep running away from trouble that you created, China is not middle power it's a global power all the weapons you have sent to Ukraine and your alliance are not doing anything now you're worried about the Russian and the North Korea. If you're going to come to fight Chinese in its own domestic issues with Taiwan then call Taiwan a independent country the you will find out. The truth power of the Chinese.
If all of what you said is true, then why has China not attacked years ago? Stop talking and put your money on the table. I think China is the last country to talk about military losses especially since YOU lost in Vietnam, too, and you were only fighting against Vietnam's 'Reserve Forces' while the rest of Vietnam's military was already in a war next door. Then, China's UN forces refused to fight when confronted and hid in its bunkers... The US may have lost wars and the political will to fight, but at least we're not incompetent at it...
Might not want to throw stones in glass houses... just saying.
China is not as strong as it looks. Just like late Soviet Union, everybody thought it was a superpower untii one day it simply collapsed.
@@GeoScorpion Agreed. But the Vietnam incursion did help to wake up the PLA. Nothing to be ashamed of as Vietnam had defeated countries (France & USA) militarily more powerful than China, The PLA record is not too shabby though consider what they had accomplished in the Korean War and the Sino-Indian War. Way better than say India.
@@WongPeter-tx7qq Sure, but remember that in 1979, the PLA was only fighting a reserve Vietnamese force (essentially a National Guard) while its main, regular army was fighting and occupying Cambodia...
Piracy has always played a needlessly pernicious role with regard to the corrective types of resource access-splicing that would actually be needed for positive international relations. Fear is still the tool of choice. Perhaps in the distant future diplomacy can be faciliated through AI......
Pottinger is a despicable warmonger
We need to stop telling china/russia our strategies and just do it
More and more desperate. LoL. When you are losing, there are debates whether something is too much or too little. When you're winning and confident, you concentrate on yourself and work steadily according to your plan to be a better version of yourself. LoL
I agree! You should tell that to Xi...
Disagree. US certainly is not losing. When you think of US, don't think it is just America. US is America pluses its alliance group. This group certainly beats China in every angle.
Never down-voted this channel before. Then again, never seen such a biased guest on this channel before.
policy, not politics. the guy constantly plugging trump is very unprofessional
Think about yourself $34 trillion in debt yet talking about Chinese Taiwan war, the U S A will become like Somalia with no money can't help it self.
Really?!? YOU want to talk about debt? 🤣🤣Maybe you don't have access to the numbers, but you may want to compare local government and national debt to the real GDP (not the projected GDP) of China. I would say that your current financial situation seems unrecoverable and catastrophic.
How much the pentagon paid. Wonder
🤣🤣🤣🤣 what strategy? 🥸🥸🥸🥸
This civilization should progress beyond a state of anarchy and barbarism. Anarchy is the breeding ground for power politics, which will ultimately lead this civilization to doomsday. If this council sincerely seeks peace, justice, and freedom for the world, it would be valuable to think how to end the anarchy and build a world order that guarantees equal rights and opportunities for prosperity and happiness to everyone and every nation.
We DID progress beyond the pre-WWI. and WWII barbarism: We called it globalization and for the first time, countries could trade for resources instead of conquering. Russia and China wants to go BACK to that hellish age because they thing it is "their turn." They didn't get the memo that nobody wants to play that game, anymore, and nobody should get a 'turn' anymore.
