Fallout show had a female lead and diverse cast, yet it got way better audience ratings than the Acolyte. And although the fan base was very divided, you still had a lot who still enjoyed the show. Why is it all these supposed racist sexist toxic males like one show but not the other 🤔

The biggest complaint on the fallout show was they made it cannon to the games. If it had been a separate time line/ universe pretty much everyone would consider it one of the best video games adaptations.
Honestly fall out was a 2/10 for me, which is a 6/10 by modern standards. I can see people loved it, since were depraved of decent content these days. Having a female led character didn’t affect the score.
If the female lead was made female for a leftist agenda, or was a “modern” strong female lead, then I’d have an issue.

For me Star Wars finished when George Lucas sell this, as he said: "“I kind of lost control of Star Wars, so it’s going off in a different path than what I intended but the first six [Star Wars films] are very much mine and my philosophy.”" It means that the other title is not really Star Wars, they only use the name for commercial success only.

I mean sure, we can use our imaginations but after a while, especially if you’re on the first read, it too became a problem of ‘who is this guy again?’ because there’s just so many sitting around, and let’s not even get started on the yet to be introduced illegitimate children.
The thing is in HotD when they make sure you know that a character is gay, they do so because it matters for the plot. If Rhaenera was a farmer married to a gay sailor, and there wasnt a line of succession, Laenor's homosexuality would not have mattered one bit and would have been seen as pandering. However Rhaenera is Queen and Laenor is King-consort, they have children whose parentage is called into question. This drives the entire. fucking. show. As long as it matters for the story, and the story is one thats widely appealing, then people wont care if characters are men, women, black, white, gay, straight, or any of the other myriad sexual perversions catered and pandered to by Disney.

It wasn't shown as a "positive," after all its a story about blood lines and furthering your family, gay and lesbien lords could not further their bloodline without great effort. Not to mention they used it to show different cultures like the martels or robs younger brother who had a gay lover and his wife knew. It was a problem for succession if they couldn't have a child.
Honestly, it mimics old world politics of royalty to a T. Old royalty was plagued with inbreeding and a lot of inclination towards homosexuality.
GoT had good writing and story telling until the show runners made their own content for the last two seasons.

In india disney is the streaming partner for the house of the dragons.
What I've found interesting is how high the viewing figures for 1970's tv series Wonder Woman. Bering in mind this was a strong female leading character! According to Neilsen season 1 had 12.8 million views per household, season 2 had 11.9 million and season 3 had 12.3 million. There was far more bigotry etc back then and a lot harder for women to get leading roles. So by blaming the audience for their failure to make a well acted, well written show Kennedy, Headland, and Filoni etc make themselves look like incompetent idiots!

'Son for a Son' may have been a little underwhelming at the Blood and Cheese incident, but I was moved to tears seeing Rhaenyra's grief for her son and Luke's funeral pyre. The Acolyte just can't compare with that.
Also, those are streaming (MAX) numbers, those numbers are not including the numbers of cable bc HOTD is also transmited on HBO and HBO2 at the same hour than MAX while Acolyte is streaming only.
Some of the writers from the acolyte are also writing for the House of the Dragon. These numbers are telling them this woke garbage works.

Comparing the Acolyte to The House of Dragon is like comparing Arrax to Vhagar in a fight.
Both things can be true at the same time: the writing can be godawful AND people can be sick to the back teeth of "diversity" and degeneracy.
Rotten Tomatoes LOVES LOVES LOVES House of the Dragon. And The Boys. And The Acolyte. Wake up. I couldn’t get past episode 6 in season one because it was pure idiotic writing and woke. Eps 1-3 were barely tolerable, 4-6-trash.
