  • If you've been disappointed by other gluten-free cinnamon roll recipes, this one is a must-try! It has a secret ingredient that gives the rolls the PERFECT doughy texture. Printable recipe: detoxinista.com/gluten-free-c...
Note: If you skip the secret ingredient, you'll wind up with a dough that is more like a biscuit, rather than the tender, classic cinnamon roll texture that you'd normally expect from using all-purpose flour.

Made these today and they turned out perfect! So soft and delicious! Followed your recipe exactly. Never made cinnamon rolls before. I’m not a great cook but found your instructions very easy to follow.
I’ve been gluten free for 12 years and it’s been longer than that since I’ve had a really good cinnamon roll. These reminded me of the ones you get at Cinnabon. Thanks for sharing this recipe!

These look delicious and not too difficult to make. Thank you for the video and detailed directions and tips. I’m going to try these as soon as I find psyllium husk.

Thank you so much! I'm going to make this tomorrow, but I won't add white sugar at the bottom and will add toasted walnuts instead.

Thanks, for this recipe this is excatly what I've been looking for! Do you think an eggwash will help them brown more?

Possibly! Let me know if you experiment with it. Once you add the frosting, it doesn't really matter what the top looks like to me. LOL

These look amazing. I only have ground psyllium. Will that work in place of the whole?

Does it look similar to what you see here in the video? My "whole" psyllium husk looks like ground flax seeds to me. If it's more powdery in texture, like a flour, you might want to use the weight measurement on my website, so you don't end up using too much.

If there's a 1:1 sugar replacement you love, my guess is that might work similarly. I've also made these with coconut sugar, for a more natural sweetener option. (For the holidays, my family insists on using real powdered sugar in the frosting, though!)

Swerve has sugar replacements...I'm diabetic so that's what I use👍

Also, if you decide to use coconut sugar for the filling, you can also use it for the glaze by adding the glaze sugar measurement to a vitamix or other high-powered blender. Coconut sugar tends to be grainy but the blender can turn it into a fine powder. Start on low speed and pulse the blender under it's powder, keep the lid on for a few extra minutes so the powder can settle. Otherwise, a big cloud of coconut sugar powder will pour out of the blender. It's definitely a different flavor. More of a burnt sugar taste. But delicious! Also it can help provide that darker tan color of a traditional cinnamon roll.

I rather warm water in a kettle, microwave, or over stovetop then to pour clean water down the drain to warm a bowl 🤦🏻‍♀️
