I have been using your recipe for focaccia for years now and it sthe only gluten free bread I can get right. I love it and it's saved me a lot of grief. Thank you!!!
Made this today with psyllium husk (twice as much) instead of xanthan, and it was perfect. Perfect for Sicilian pizza, it’s unreal. I also used the exact same brand of flour.
Oh interesting, I split it half xantham/powedered-psyllium instead of replacing it, and it turned out so perfectly pillowy I’ve made it twice again in as many days, I’ll have to try that variation
I’m Italian and I’ve been making wheat focaccia for my partner for many many years. But it turns out he’s now unable to eat gluten so I’m definitely going to give this recipe a go!
Thank you for sharing your wonderful recipe. I made this for my grandson and he loved it. I used Bob's Red Mills 1 to 1 all purpose baking mix and added a teaspoon of psyllium husk powder. I will be making it agsin.
Wow! One of the best GF Focaccia breads I have ever seen; these air pockets look amazing; baking this with Oregano, Feta cheese, and black olives; thank you.
Thank you so much for this! I've just started to bake gluten-free this latest month to accommodate my best friend's boyfriend, and I've struggled so much with knowing the different textures compared to gluten-made while making dough. Having a visual guide instead of just reading a recipie really helps!
I have made this several times now because my son absolutely loves it. I’m making it again today to go with our chicken and sausage gumbo! Thank you so much for the recipe!💖
This is the only “recipe 🙄” I’ve ever used to make my wife GF focaccia and she and anybody else who has tried it has absolutely loved it! So THANK YOU for your great and easy to follow “video instructions” 😉
This looks so good, and the crunch when you bit into it! My daughter loves my regular rosemary focaccia, so it’s a comfort to know I can still make this for her. Thank you so much for sharing this recipe. I am going to try this with Schär bread mix with a spoon of psyllium husk.
Gluten free flours can be very different from brand to brand so knowing what you used would be so helpful. Your recipe is the most appealing of any I’ve seen so I’m going to make it today. Thank you! 💖
@@GFBlogger THank you! I looked there already yesterday but I do not find any recipe for the flour blend, but a link to buying the flour.... I had a GF bread flour blend that I made last year and used that to try and Wow! AMAZING turnout. YOur recipe is absolutely a keeper! I have to control myself not to eat more then 2 thin slices of this bread because I could easily eat the entire thing so good it is. So flavorful, crispy outside and soft inside! Thanks :) I followed your recipe exactly (used my own GF blend) used garlic flavored oil
I am making this as I type to go with chicken Alfredo. My family reguests this regularly. It is so easy and I make it several times a month! Thank you again for this lovely gluten free recipe!❤️
Totally glad i watched this now. I tried making focaccia the same way as you would with regular flour... With not so great results. My second bach has been more successful
I've just made it. So easy. And delicious. I think I will try a little less water next time though; I used 250ml as in the video description, and the mixture felt a little too easy to mix, resulting in not quite such a good rise. But I will definitely be doing it again!
Definitely going to make this today! Thanks! The fact that it is vegan (I saw a lot of recipes in my "research" that weren't) is a big plus, you might want to put that in the title to reach more people :)
I made this and I think I need to practice as it came out quite wet in the middle. I need proper weighing things as I may have put a little too much water in for the yeast? It still came out lovely though so I’ll def be making it again x
I made this yesterday, I think the only thing I wanna improve on is to lessen the smell of yeast on the bread. I’m diabetic so I didn’t put any sugar. I made 3, two were given as Christmas gifts for my relatives. ☺️
Question: You recipes call for gluten, white flour what does this mean? I’ve tried several different manufactures and haven’t had that great of luck, so what manufacture of blue flower do you?? plus I live in higher elevations is there any thing you can recommend?
Is it possible to "double up" the ingredients? Made this last night, utterly fabulous. Thanks to an egg allergy, I've been unable to make decent GF bread and want to try making this, in a deeper tin, with double the quantities. But I believe Yeast & Water quantities do not like being simply doubled. Many thanks
What ratio and types flour did you use. I am first time non gluten creator. Just curios with this direction. Have some family and friends on non-gluten diet.
This looks amazing, I’m wondering how it would bake up as individual buns. I’m currently baking buns non gluten free using a focaccia recipe. Also do you know the flour you are using ingredients? I’m trying to find a gluten free flour in my area that is yeast compatible. Thank you!
Thank you for the lovely video! I’ve recently been diagnosed with coeliac so trying to find good recipes… what flour would u recommend? I’m from the UK.
This recipe looks amazing! I know I am late seeing it, but have only just been diagnosed with celiac disease and so my whole way of cooking and eating has been turned upside down. Thank you for sharing the recipe and I have subscribed! You mentioned it was best eaten warm (for me all bread was lol, as it was the only way I liked bread), the loaf is too big for my husband and I to eat in one go..he isn’t a celiac but is trying to support me and so he is going gluten free when we are at home. So is this bread suitable to warm back up in the oven to eat the next day?is the dough/batter suitable for freezing? I was thinking making the recipe up but freezing half and using my mini cast iron pan to bake the other half up for that day’s use. Have you ever tried doing that? Thanks again for the recipe and your help!
For other American viewers, the brand of gluten free flour is actually called "Freee". I was confused while reading the ingredients list at first wondering "why did she put another Free in there and add an extra E?" but after looking it up, it seems to be a brand only available in the UK. 😂 Scratch that, it may be available in the US depending on where you are!
To find the flour she used, go to the description & click on the link to her website. There will be another link that takes you to the gluten free white bread flour.
I wish instead of a store bought gf flour mix you’d come up with your own. I have no access to gf flour mixes unfortunately and now I want this bread 😅 help!
Hi! The GF flour here is so expensive (about 20$ a small bag) that this bread would probably cost me 10$ to make...do you have a homemade recipe mix that I could substitute and that would work? I tried different recipes online with rice flour, xantham gum, tapioca starch and potato starch and had to throw out the whole thing (yes, that bad!). Please, anyone with an answer? I know that if I make my own mix of GF flour, I can cut the cost significantly!
Hi Julie, I just found a channel the other day called "Let Them Eat Gluten Free Cake" and she has created a gf bread flour and other flours for things like pasta and gravies. She gives links in her videos for the recipes.
I so love this bread. My first go wasn't much of a success b but today's is just delicious. Melt in the mouth golden crustee outer and squiggy elastic inside. Yumm. Thank you.
I've not tried this before so I don't know how it would work. The xantham gum is quite crucial to the texture but tapioca powder does provide stretch as well so it could work!

And I use a tablespoon of arrow root powder in place of a tsp of xanthin gum powder and it still works perfectly 👌🔥🙏

Oh it sounds so good and crispy and just delicious I feel like this would make a good pizza base like a pizza bread 🥪🍞
Aqui no Brasil não tem essa farinha, então usei Schar. O resultado foi ótimo. Obrigada pela receita.
Thank you for the recipe...it is just amazing. I have made it with cumin seeds on top and it is delicious...

This happened to me as well. My measurements were right. I believe I should make it with lower heat like 400f for 30 minutes. I later toasted as well.
I will Definitely make this.
My gluten free bf loved this !
The does look good, I definitely baking this for tea tonight!

Wow! That’s amazing ❤❤❤

My GF lend includes xanthan gum. Can I skip it in the recipe?
Looks so goood, gonna try it
can you also cold proof it for a few days?
Can substitute with almond flour
CanI use a Gluten Free Flour that already has the xanthan gum in it instead of adding it, like King Arthur's?
Soes your GF flour already have xhantan gum and you added more? I want to make it today and the one I have here alrealdy has xhantan gum added😊
is there any other way to mix it? like am I able to use a mixer? I have joint issues so I'm unsure if I can mix that long lol

Would this work using Red Mills 1:1 Gluton free flour? which seems to have everything listed in the dry ingredients
If your gf bread flour has xantham gum in it should you omit the gum?
I tired this today but my dough didn’t rise very much and middle was very gooy and soft. Any tips?
