I have always been keen on Engl amps for high gain metal, and the sound on this one, holy hell, the low end on it, I can see why people recommend it as much as the Mesa Rectifier for low end heaviness. 🤘

Damn, that rhythm guitar tone for high gain is so grinding and heavy AF. Some of the playing gave my Symphony X vibes, in the rhythms and the leads
Makes me wonder how it would pair with a Marshall JCM or especially the JVM (maybe cause that’s my #1 amp lol) in a mix for metal - like the Fireball on the left and a JVM on the right, haha

-I'm a little partial to EL
34 pwr tubes. 6l6 are a little harsh to my ears and high pitchy. This amp w/ el34 or even el84 would be sweet fon me. Any Engls like that out there on the market?? Thanks everyone!

boas , gr8 video . a espera do meu engl fireball 100 . eu acho que este e o meu engl amp. vou adicional midi e ver se consigo ter melhor eq no amp {mais mids { se nao tambem nao faz mal no meu fxrack have a paraeq por isso nao e grande problema. o que gosto neste amp e mesmo o ataque . ja tive um vht e troquei por um ksr mas este engl fazme lembrar o vht super seco e com o som super tight ou pelo menos o mais tight que conheco da engl. e outra 2 chanels are enough for me . como disse com pedalboard e fxloop rack posso mudar muito perto para o meu som . tenho o victory vx100 e com o paraeq e mesmo ummmmmmm mosntroooooo , abraco e vou subscribe
