ya man it's super underrated, same with the peavey xxx and randall t2. The guitarists in my band were jamming and one guy had a mark 5 stack and the other had a bugera with a 333 and a mesa cab, and honestly they sounded pretty f close man, and they shouldn't at all considering the price difference. At one point when we dialed in the 333 with the right boost pedal we had it sounding BETTER than Mark 5, it's no slouch on the chugs. It's honestly a very cool amp and my buddies have bogners, mesas, and a few others.

in That times Metal sound = "Cheap": sm57 and some head with gain, so mg-400 more harsh but the resolution on mg30 is better for EFX of metal tone some high class lead tones.

I’m glad people are still playing emgs. I love them. I just bought a guitar with fishman modern and they sound great but love emgs more.

I like the built in cab sim because it has a kind of crispness to it thay pops in a live mix

Ah the secret is out! any kind of EQ, bright/ tight OD, or treble booster into a big muff will give a great metal sound. crazy to think every thing you need to get a killer "modern" sound was already there by 1970 Right?
