It kicks ass! I also bought a Mesa 2x12 cab. It truly sounds great. It’s a monster, but still has a great clarity to each note on the guitar when playing heavy stuff. I haven’t gotten to record anything with it yet. But I’m sure it sounds great. And the cleans are great as well. Just an all around great tube amp! 👍

If you can find a demo of these amps where they’re not using WAY too much gain, these amps have a spectacular crunch, or hot-rodeo plexi tones. Nick hit it on the pushed clean channel for a second or two. An outstanding all-around amp. As with every single amp demo on YT, WAY too much chugging/thrash, with too much gain being used.
I think it costs too much. You might as well go for the 100-watt version at $1,900 if you're willing to pay $1,350 for this one. I have a Peavey Invective MH (20-watt version of the $1,900 120-watt version) and it's only $800.
@@lekkerblankastudio Why pay $550 more for a lunchbox amp that says "ENGL" on it when you're getting less features than the Invective MH? That's the same reasoning you used to argue why you shouldn't spend $550 more to get a Fireball 100.
