CHEAPEST FOOD Options in DUBAI 🇦🇪 | Visiting AL KARAMA of Bur Dubai for CHEAP EATS

- Опубліковано 25 лип 2024
- During our extended layover in Dubai, we had to go in search of delicious street food. In this video, we are searching for the cheapest food options in Dubai, so we headed to the Al Karama neighborhood of Bur Dubai. This is one of the older neighborhoods in Dubai. We found delicious Indian food in Dubai and Nepalese food in Dubai! Our first stop was at the Kulcha King, which is so fitting since we just left Amritsar, India! We heard that there is a delicious falafel restaurant in Al Karama, as well, but we didn’t find it. If you have a suggestion, let us know in the comments. We tend to pass through Dubai and Doha on our international flights, and we’d love suggestions for future stops in either of these cities. We end this video with chai, both flavors were delicious! Our question is, does anyone know why the one tea is called the biriyani tea?

ABOUT US
We are the Bags Packed Family: Jonathan and Kelly with our three children. We sold our home in Alaska, USA, eight years ago, and headed overseas. We are teachers and found fantastic teaching positions in Chennai, India. Two years later, we moved to the United Arab Emirates. Three years after that, during the beginning of the pandemic, we made the move to our current teaching jobs in Indonesia. We love traveling and finding adventures as a family. We hope that our travels will inspire and provide our children with the confidence to meet new people, try new foods, and enjoy learning a new language. We hope our vlogs will inspire you to get out and travel, too!

Falafel! I use to visit this restaurant just near AL Barsha metro station called Foul w Hummus Restaurants. Super cheap but very good the people who work there are very friendly. Loved their falafel sandwiche.
Lots of good Lebanese food as well in Dubai. My favorite is Shish Tawouk. Grilled Chicken on skewers served with Pita Bread, side of Hummus and Picked Vegetables. It's awesome!

I don't understand why you use hand to eat chats . It's very wrong to assume Indian use hands to eat everything. They have given spoon. We in India use spoons to eat chat except Pani Puri. It's looks so messy and bad when people use hands to eat saucy things.
Avoid using word cheap it's so disrespectful word I think so use Most affordable word or something else u know
In america they call affordable but in India or any south asian countries its not so disrespectful. Depends on how you said that. People try to get the meaning not on the word itself.
I literally had leftover Dahl the yellow one lol, and put it on top of fries omg 👌🍟😂 just thought i had to let you know if u have Dahl anf fries as a side 😂
I am a shawarma addict, and from recent videos of ur jon and Kelly i think Jonathan is starting to become one too 😂😂😂
