In this video of Living the Jo life, we go on an unforgettable food tour around Amritsar, India to indulge in some delicious Indian street food. At the first stop, we try the famous Amritsari Kulcha bread, which is a crispy, authentic Punjabi delicacy often eaten for breakfast and lunch. At the next stop, we have a sweet lassi before catching a tuktuk to a street food restaurant, where we indulged in Paneer Bhudji, which was absolutely outstanding: a delicious flavor bomb, especially when mixed with the sweet and spicy chutney condiments. These initial stops are just the beginning of our food tour through the colorful streets of Amritsar, where we also taste Masala tea, Dosas, Butter Chicken and much more. We certainly got to experience the friendly and kind nature of the people of Amritsar on this food tour. We finish off the food tour at a place selling a variety of dried mango. We can definitely recommend going on a food tour while in Amritsar.

I remember a lot of butter being used in the food in Amritsar! I gained 10 pounds the first time in India and I am pretty skinny!! The food was so delicious. I had my first ever sugarcane juice there too. Happy Travels

Indian is my Favorite, Lamb Curry or Goat Curry with proper Indian spice, not watered down, Most American don't like lamb or Goat or Spicy food, I have to constantly argue when I eat Indian at a new place, Make it Indian Spice! Once the cook came out, The Server and owner to watch me lol they were amazed I could eat it that way. Have you guys been to Japan and tried FUGU? Blow Fish I tried that twice last year and I am still here. Indian Masala, chi, oh so good. Not sure if you guys been to Japan, if not GO!

What more can I say...Another interesting look at India. Can't comment myself on the food without tasting it but seeing the JO's enjoying it I guess it must be good. Where I live we sometimes have Take away Indian and we like the Butter Chicken and Narm Bread. In US and Canada 🇨🇦 whenever we have a party , we always go to an Indian restaurant and eat so much of the delicious Indian food we relish to the core of our hearts ♥️
If u did not hv amritsari fish in Amritsar, then u haven't been to Amritsar. Amritsar has the Best tandoori and fried fish and tandoori chicken in all of North india. Do try if u can

Welcome to India. Small suggestion always try for local food coz India is very diverse country and food taste changes according to regions. I have seen you guys had Dosas in Punjab that's okay but it is originated in southern India. Northern India is famous for Roti, Paratha, Nan and other Indian breads along with veg-non veg curries.
Thank you. We had a great time. Unfortunately, Ella and I are allergic to wheat so we can eat the breads. Dosa is a great option for us. Plus it's delicious!

I live skit Amritsar but I’m now living in Canada I have left Amritsar five months ago the last place where you visited to eat the caddy was my home nearby this reminded me of my home but I am now living in Canada there is no Punjabi food

When you concerned or question ❓ then know you're gonna be sick by questioning that not because how it made . Cause it happens to me, but when I don't think about those nothing happens. But I carry medicine and so many other Indian things like Hajmola , Amla , Ajwain etc.

With reference to lassi, it's not yoghurt it's curd. Curd is made by mixing milk with lemon juice or vinegar. Yogurt is made by fermenting milk with specific types of bacteria. Curd contains lactic acid bacteria, while yogurt contains live strains of Lactobacillus Bulgaris bacterium and streptococcus thermophilus. Yogurt also contains a higher amount of bacteria than curd.
