Great full body workout session done by the champ, he is incredibly strong and powerful at that weight because of the training. Purely compound movements like a fucking beast
At HW jan is even scarier imo. He could become gigantic and not have to worry about making weight. Hope he goes their after beating pereria and the lhw title
Amazing that a top-level athletes has been given such a shit programme with terrible techniques instruction! Shows how great his genetics are to still be a World Champion!
His program does need to fit within the context of his greater mma training. It definitely doesn’t look optimal but let’s be honest you’re not in a position to judge really.
@@Ty-oe4dr Nah, moving weight is one of the absolute best things an athlete can do to prolong their career and lower their risk of injury. I've been training since the mid 2000's and only started lifting in 2019. Absolutely life changing for injury.
@@I_Might_B_Wrong while you are certainly right( as someone who has a sound training program thats helped me tons), it rubs me the wrong way seeing one of the greatest fighters on the planet reduced to "genetics". is it a sizable boost in quality of life to have a proper weight training program that prioritizes injury prevention and explosive, athletic imovements? yeah. is it something everyone should do? yeah. but its not needed to become world class in fighting.
@@TreverLovesLife Not sure how being an MMA champion negates criticism on your benching form, I mean let's be real his form is terrible. I doubt he actually does these exercises a lot, even his pullups look very strange, most of his training is in the form of MMA drills and sparring, definitely not a weight lifter
@@TreverLovesLife go watch some videos of bench press and pull ups proper form. If you had any experience with training, you wouldn't make such a stupid comment.
@@leounk3858 I'm sorry I upset you so much with my comment, Leo. It's never my intention to hurt the feelings of 12 year olds with cognitive difficulties.
@@TreverLovesLife seems like you have cognitive issues. I'm sure you never touched a bar and never put a boxing glove on your weak sedentary hand. You also probably have weak and thin shins that would break in a half with a single kick.
‘Heavy duty barbell workout’ well the bar is heavy duty and it was a workout my 13 year old son can do! I was mis-lead by the title, I thought it meant he lifted heavy weights!🤣🤣😂🤣😂
Thank you so much for sharing!

his training has to fit mma training-they focus on fast twitch muscles.he's not a bodybuilder
Your going to hurt your neck benching like that
Has he got an injured shoulder ? Very strange pull ups.
More likely just imbalances in muscular structure and mobility.
his technique is sooo whaaack !!! locked knees instead of soft knees, wrists bent back all the way to snap city, chicken head neck while benching !!!
How many championships do you have?
