    As a technician, I cringe thinking of people repeatedly hitting that electrical conduit with a med ball. Besides that I love these drills and I'll be sure to incorporate them weekly.

    First medicine ball ua-cam.com/users/postUgkxsg8rI-i6ePWRkhrp_UHScmUIKozMa9uU that I have ever owned. So far so good, it's very easy to hold on to with workouts I do with it, although I do wish though I would have ordered a heavier one, the ones at the gym I used to go to must have been overweight because this one felt pretty light compared to those that said they were also 8 pounds. Great product though, I love it and plan on keeping it for a while at least until I need a bigger one

    Can you build a little muscle with slamballs?

  • @Kris-ez2qp
    @Kris-ez2qp 3 роки тому +1

    I use a 4lb ball for speed power and distance.. a 10lb for all types of slams. And a tire for power and strength I do overhead throws slams and one arm rotational throws with a spin start like discuss.. I switch up here and there but I’ve been focusing on using the 4lber for the speed and progress comes faster I don’t do the shot put anymore because it bent my hand back badly and feels awkward I don’t think it’s necessary as long as you have punching technique all the other exercises are good enough

    Perfect for upper body dynamic effort. Should the variations be chosen by specificity or simply use all variations at different times to avoid accommodation? Thank you for info, Phil.

    Daru do you think doing low resistance "power" exercises aka ballistics like medball thows provide any value for improvements in explosive strength (such as RFD) as well as power ?
    Or are they best used for putting your increased RFD and power (from loaded dynamic effort resistance strength training) to use in a more "real life" motor pattern so that one understands how to transfer the power into a life (sport) specific skill ?

    Phil the goat💯
    Question though, you said males should use 10-12 lbs, if I only have a 20lb one can I keep using that or is it going to end up being counter productive?

    • @KremeOnHer
      @KremeOnHer 4 роки тому +1

      The point is to be as fast and explosive as possible with 20 pounds it may be hard for you to get that explosive nesss

      Why does this belief still exist? Sure some people are natural born power punchers but it can absolutely be trained.
