      @@peterbadal3028 nobody gives a fuck about Neil Magny in 2022. The difference is also that Burns actually has a decent chance to stop the Khamzat hype. Khamzat has solid wrestling but what about his chin? His chin hasn't been tested yet and Burns can crack. If he can take some shots and finish him, i would say he is legit. But Gilbert also has a sus chin and Khamzat hasn't beat any high level BJJ guy, so it's that perfect fight where anything can happen.

    Elite level training is pain. It is also very much team effort, from the coaches and supporters who help a fighter get to where he is. Deep respect for all the hard work, blood, sweat and tears it takes behind the scenes to prepare for a single major fight.

      Im pretty sure they have their doubts, but they push it to the back of their mind because the second it comes to the surface and doubt is all they can think about its a wrap. They also have to push themselves mentally, which is probably harder than the physical stuff.

      its not khamzats first fight tho. and if you look back on his entire fighting career in mma or in wrestling, it's all he's ever done, to EVERY. SINGLE. OPPONENT. i can't imagine not having that mindset, when all you know, is utter domination of your opponents. In his mind, he cannot be stopped, because he hasn't been.

    I watch this video before all of my workouts now. Sometimes even during. The feeling of looking forward to putting in the work but also not really looking forward to it is so real, especially on an intense day. So the fact that Gilbert feels what I feel and still shows up and does it anyways does a lot for me

    This is the best type of MMA video. The Countdowns, and other behind the scene vids show bits and clips of these guys workouts. This shows the entire workout, no clips, no filters, just the raw grit of the work these guys put in. Awesome video..

It just shows nobody is taking Khamzat lightly. Only thing they got in hand that could possibly beat Khamzat is the fact that he isn't that experienced right now or that he doesn't know the taste of defeat as of yet.

      Khamzat hasn't fought anyone. You haven't even seen him get hit by a punch. I think people are under the illusion that he's untouchable bc they've never seen him be hit.       I think an ultramarathon is more difficult than this 15 mins intense workout. You running 100 miles is super impressive. Only a small % of people can complete that. People who’ve trained for 26.2 marathons for years still have their legs wobble close to the finish line.

    The coach holding the Pads should be given a salute for his dedication 👏🏻 Waiting for those 10-15 secs to make Gilbert push his intensity.
    This fight will reveal a lot about both fighters, who is willing to push it when it's in the deep waters.

    I love how Gilbert said whatever happens, it's going to be a war. A very refreshing take for an established elite fighter taking on a hyped newcomer, as they usually keep saying they are going to smoke them cos of how inexperienced or cocky they are, but you can clearly see Burns keeps it real 100% of the time.

      There's a very good chance there won't be a war and that Burns ends up like GM3. Burns seems to be focused on wrestling and conditioning but khamzat will be looking at finishing the fight on the feet. If he knocked out cold a MW veteran that had never been ko'd unconscious before in 44 fights, he could definitely do it to a guy that has been KO'd before at LW

      Watch out for the strikes. All the training means nothing with that one shot. Take cumshot very seriously and don't give into his best shots, don't let him set it up. Watch out for that strike.

    Those sprawls were rough. Could also see how tired he was hitting the mitts on the second and third reps.
    It's really amazing the type of conditioning these guys are in before they even get to the fight. All of this is way harder than it looks. I'm definitely rooting for Burns. I don't expect him to win, but I hope he least makes it competitive.

      @ollie Murphy I wouldn’t say he’s tired but he’s taking his time ain’t gonna rush through the workout gotta make sure every rep he gets done slowly and does it right just cuz he looks tired doesn’t mean he is he has to be in top shape to do all these reps of course and burns cardio is solid so he won’t have to worry about getting tired only thing that matter is if khamzat can make 170 without using a towel this time around not sure if he has cardio he never went past the third round before so I wouldn’t say khamzat has bad cardio but if he doesn’t get burns out of there in the first too rounds burns will win by decision

    Burns always been a monster. Undersized for the class. Mega conditioning. Great skills. People have laughed at me loads when I've said if khamzat runs through burns and makes it look easy again, he's the champ. Burns great. Good luck.

      He walks round at like 205, can't believe here got to 155. The best thing he ever did going up.

    I met JC Santana here in BsAs, Argentina, more than ten years ago, learned a lot from him. His son Río was just a Kid, and now he's training Gilbert Burns! Wow 👏 Congrats to all JC Santana crew and of course to Gilbert Burns, such a great fighter 💪

    This guy is a beast! My Crossfit workouts (like 11.3) are actually warmups compared to this. I would probably be dead when he says Diamonds on the first round.
