Thank you for taking the time to make this video. They all have good parts to learn from. 5:54 *respirator. **6:04* milliliter.(lol) Sand with 220 before cleaning and use primer rather than paint. The "paint and Primer in one" is a way to sell to homeowners. Krud Kutter is a good detergent to use before alcohol. Scrub and rinse with a green or gray sos type pad two or three times. There is sometimes an oil on stainless steel applied before shipping. The "paint and Primer in one" is a way to sell to homeowners. Not an expert on tumblers ,just experience with preparing and painting metal.
I made one but instead of a black base I did holographic silver glitter, I sealed the glitter then sanded it lightly, the 20 ml of epoxy and then I used a few different blues a pink and instead of white I used rainbow ink (it's almost white). It looks amazing in 8k resolution!
I am about to start making tumblers, and have purchased almost everything needed for a glitter tumbler. I know that if I try a design like this, it would be a disaster...... so maybe later...... hehe. But when I do decide to do one like this, I am definitely going to come back to this amazing video. Thank you so much Miss Kiss Kreations!
Thank you so much for this video. My husband saw me making tumblers for everyone else with glitter and he wants one without so this really helps. Now to give it a try.
Your tumblers are the best on UA-cam bar none. What I would recommend if its possible is to sandblast the tumbler where you will paint then use a self etching primer before paint. It will adhere till the end of time. Love your work!
Love this❤ Thank you for the tutorial! I do have a question-if you put glitter in the epoxy will you need anther coat of epoxy over the alcohol ink swirl?
Looks fantastic only one step that you did leave out is after washing the tumbler with alcohol I would suggest sanding it with 400 grit sandpaper for the paint to stick better incase of chipping so it won't start to peel off and after sanding i would rewash with alcohol again...
I love how yours turned out! I gave this a try for my first cup. It started out so pretty but the parts with the ink never cured right and stayed tacky (the clear spaces did just fine). Gonna give it another try with India inks instead of alcohol ink but I have no idea what went wrong on the first try.
I really enjoyed your video. I’m looking for a craft to do with my daughter. She’s 19 so this will be pretty fun and if she wants to sell them that will be great.
How long after mixing your epoxy did you wait before applying it to the tumbler? Also how long did you wait before taking it off and then adding your white? And have you tried the TRex alcohol inks? They are AMAZING!
You may not have shaken the inks very well, especially the white. Or maybe they weren't actually alcohol inks bc when I first started doing resin I bought a set of liquid "resin ink" from Amazon that absolutely wasn't alcohol ink and didn't react with the resin very well at all
I bet I could use that machine to send in Polish some of my other blanks that I have that are quite large and because of how slow it spins maybe easier to get a more accurate polish thank you for posting
i use the same NODDWAY turner, my make nose sometimes after while to use might be just part of stick to hold the cup as my grandpa think so, he seems know everything with the stuff cause he work with it on tractor sometimes, lol i am in 6 months of working i still love the turner but do i need to grease the stick part? love ur videos you explain better
Thx for the tip with doing the alcohol wipe down first rather than spraying on afterwards. I am definitely going to try this. I keep getting fish eyes and separation.
I stumbled across your channel and fell in love. I am always looking for something fun to do with my friends kids when they visit. Your chanel rocks. Comment below I second - YT needs a LOVE button. Thank you so much for sharing!
I love this. I am am encountering a problem . after i use my spray and i applied my epoxy evenly i get uneven like holes. Was i suppose to use and acrylic finish? After spraying with spray paint and dried.
thanks for the tutorial, I have a question...for mugs I've heard the epoxi and paint are toxic, how to protect the área That could be in contact with the mouth? or theres an epoxi that is safe to use?
These look great and very professional. My only question is the resin. Although I know they make resin that is safe with food, I didn't realize Amazing Clear Cast was food safe. Is this the only resin you use? Also, how do you prevent resin getting inside the cup?
havent seen anyone use a self etching primer which would make these so much stronger!! also wipe your projects down with acetone instead of alcohol, Acetone is a good solvent due to its ability to dissolve both polar and nonpolar substances, while other solvents can only dissolve one or the other
I ABSOLUTELY LOVE YOUR VIDEOS. I’ve watch several of them and you are so thorough. Your designs are amazing!!! Thank you so very much. I’ve been ordering supplies a little at a time. I’m currently awaiting for them to arrive. Can’t wait to try your ideas 😘
I would try pink, purple, and turquoise for a kind of galaxy. I wonder if you could incorporate glitter into this. I have never made a custom tumbler but I’m soaking up all the videos and getting ideas for a first one if I start making them.
Your mugs are absolutely gorgeous!! I think I have everything to try my first mug but I'm so beyond nervous. You make it look so easy. Thank you for sharing your talents! 💕
UA-cam seriously needs a "love" button!!!!

I just found your channel and love Your teaching skills. Thank you for taking the time to make this.will be binge watching yo learn more.
Beautiful!! How do I keep from getting fisheyes? I’ve done all the steps but still get one or two small fisheyes!
Looks fantastic only one step that you did leave out is after washing the tumbler with alcohol I would suggest sanding it with 400 grit sandpaper for the paint to stick better incase of chipping so it won't start to peel off and after sanding i would rewash with alcohol again...
I don't sand at the end. But if it works for you then great!

Maybe your workspace is cold (resin dont cure with cold weather)
Great video! Thanks for taking the time and showing us this!
I really enjoyed your video. I’m looking for a craft to do with my daughter. She’s 19 so this will be pretty fun and if she wants to sell them that will be great.

Awesome tutorial
That is absolutely beautiful
Thank you for the full tutorial. It was very helpful.
I just found your channel and I’m so glad I did! I’m a newbie and you have really given me confidence to try this!
This is awesome! Have you tried this method with a white background and colored alcohol ink with the white to make it swirl like that???
I bet I could use that machine to send in Polish some of my other blanks that I have that are quite large and because of how slow it spins maybe easier to get a more accurate polish thank you for posting
Wow! Loved it👍👍👍
Can you use mod podge over decal on top of epoxy or do it re-track the mod podge?
Tried this today and omg😍😍😍
i use the same NODDWAY turner, my make nose sometimes after while to use might be just part of stick to hold the cup as my grandpa think so, he seems know everything with the stuff cause he work with it on tractor sometimes, lol i am in 6 months of working i still love the turner but do i need to grease the stick part? love ur videos you explain better
This is so cool I only watch a select people make tumblers and honestly I can’t wait until after the virus to make tumblers 🥰
Woah that’s cool 🔥
Thx for the tip with doing the alcohol wipe down first rather than spraying on afterwards. I am definitely going to try this. I keep getting fish eyes and separation.
Great vid!
I'm just going to get started and I'm wondering if that pinata White is just another normal alcohol ink or is it something special?
I love the colors!
Beautiful 😍

I love your tutorial! I hope to be able to try this one day!

I love...love your mugs. You are so great at explaining without rambling on. Have you made hydra sport bottles with this turner?
That is stunning. Good job!!

Love how you explain everything! I would like to know if that pin holding the pvc pipe came with the turner or you got it somewhere else???
I purchased it from Lowe’s. I know it as an “R Key”.
Wow, i would love to see your tumbler
That is beautiful! Trying one today.
If I was looking to have the swirls pink would you use red then add white or would you use pink and add the white?
Beautiful. Great tutorial. Definitely will try this.
I just did it...super easy
Absolutely awesome!
ive always heard you should sand it first to get the expoxy to stick but if this works too i like this method better
I would try pink, purple, and turquoise for a kind of galaxy. I wonder if you could incorporate glitter into this. I have never made a custom tumbler but I’m soaking up all the videos and getting ideas for a first one if I start making them.
That would be a great idea! And it would look nice with random glitter thrown on it!
Very pretty❤️❤️❤️
What kind of cup Turner is recommended for wine bottles? Ty
Your mugs are absolutely gorgeous!! I think I have everything to try my first mug but I'm so beyond nervous. You make it look so easy. Thank you for sharing your talents! 💕
Susan Ellickson your welcome
This is beautiful!
Can you use a black tumbler and get the same results or do you need to spray paint a plain silver one?
I would suggest spray painting the tumbler.
