Just want to say that your videos are wonderful and I have not only learned so much, it makes me want to create more! Thank you for taking time out of your day to show us how you make these!
Thank you I’ve learned so much from watching your videos. I’m just about to start doing cups for my hobby. Not sure how good I will be but it’s more of a soothing therapy thing for me.
LOVE LOVE LOVE your videos. All of your videos are so informative. You are a great teacher. The instructions are very clear and detailed. Now I feel like making these tumblers is not so intimidating. Keep up the wonderful work.
I love your channel 💜 I'm wondering if I can use alcohol inks and for the white, use white resin dye? I finally got inks and it didn't come with a mixative and there's no chance of finding rubbing alcohol, unfortunately. Thank you so much for taking the time to teach as all 😊
Beautiful cup! I'm doing a white glitter base and want to add alcohol inks to it. What's the best way to do it? Should I just do the glitter, then epoxy and then sand, then add another coat of epoxy and do the inks then on the wet epoxy?
Thank you for your videos. When making a tumbler with two coats of epoxy that does not need sanding ... do you clean epoxy in between coats and if so how ? Thank you very much.
Your video are very interesting, I would like to.know if their are other materials asides from stainless we can use epoxy on such as plastic will epoxy stick?
Epoxy will stick to any material except silicon. I’ve never epoxied a plastic cup before only because I feel plastic is weaker and eventually the epoxy may cure into the cup ? I’m not too sure though and not an expect at all ok epoxying plastic cups.
Just found your page love how your tumblers turn out I do have a question when adding vinyl do you add it before you add a second coat of epoxy and add the epoxy over the vinyl
I know this video was made a few years ago. I am just starting out on the tumblers. I am waiting for my alcohol ink to come, can I use craft smart resin inks?
Nice work it looks great. Just wondering how toxic is that stuff since you are wearing gas mask and is it safe to put it on something you will be drinking out of?
Where do you get the decals? I am trying to gather everything I need so I can start doing this! I am retired now and have a bunch time on my hands this like I would enjoy doing! But need to what are the basics tools to start ! I know need paint, I know I need glitters, I know I need a tumbler, I know I need some much more? Doing have a list of must haves?
My mom makes tumblers and ive seen she uses epoxy (of course), a cup turner, a heat gun, alcohol inks, cups and popsicle sticks for mixing the epoxy, parchment paper to put under the cup to catch glitter and resin that falls, and spray paint.
I spray painted my tumbler like you said and added the epoxy then the ink but as it spun it created spot that the ink and epoxy didn't stick I guess a fish eye is what you called it. I'm just wondering what I could have done wrong and how to avoid it
Make sure you prepped your tumbler properly, wiping it down with 91% alcohol And a lot of times when you heat up your tumbler then add alcohol ink immediately after, the ink spreads because the cup is still hot. Wait for the cup to cool down after applying heat
If there are areas where I found the inks didn’t stick or epoxy fish eyed, I will epoxy again. To be safe. Epoxy a thin layer. Or. If you want to decal, decal then epoxy.
After the alcohol ink stage as cured it’s 12 hrs do you sand, decal and epoxy? I’m wanting to try this method but not sure if a tumbler can be sanded after alcohol ink.
Maybe add some orange. Remember, adding white to any alcohol ink color will change it lighter. So, you may have to start with a different color to achieve your desired colors.
I have watched it several times, and finally attempted my first alcohol ink/epoxy tumbler, the epoxy has numerous bubbles and I couldn't get them out. Cup it ruined. As far as I am concerned. HELP, please.
Just wondering-I have used resins a lot but not with dyes .. My cup is a little sticky--not the kind of sticky you get when you don't mix properly. Just wondering if its normal. also, I get some dry spots on the tumbler even though I wiped with alcohol and used gloves and plenty of resin.
One of the best video for beginners this beginner has seen! Thank you for your clear direct instructions! I feel confident to try this type tumbler!
Thank you so much and good luck!
I love how alcohol inks transform. It’s all about trusting the process because they go from an absolute mess to mesmerizing 😍😍😍
I love your clear instructions and the fact that you are so thorough with them. Beautiful work. Thank you.
Just want to say that your videos are wonderful and I have not only learned so much, it makes me want to create more! Thank you for taking time out of your day to show us how you make these!
Thank you so much for the kind words
Ahhh, yes to the heat! I am new to tumblers but I do know that heat makes resin run nicely and also cure faster in the long run. Very nice tutorial!
Thank you I’ve learned so much from watching your videos. I’m just about to start doing cups for my hobby. Not sure how good I will be but it’s more of a soothing therapy thing for me.
Very beautiful colors

Beautiful. Love how this came out. Great video 😊
Love how this turned out!
No rhyme or reason, I love it
Love how your tumblers turn out, I do have a question. How much ml of epoxy do you apply the 2nd time if you decide to put a decal on the tumbler?
Beautiful I love it❤️
Gorgeous! I love this!
I love all your videos--Thank you for another great one!
Thank you so much!
Thanks 👍🙂I loved
OMG I love your work I just subscribed 🥰🥰🙌🏾🙌🏾🙌🏾 please tell me how I can place an order
Hi I love your video, can you start with tumblers that are already painted when purchased? Thank you!
Make sure they are sanded well enough. Epoxy doesn’t like to stick to those “already painted tumblers”
Awesome thank you ! Good tutorial
Thank you for your videos. When making a tumbler with two coats of epoxy that does not need sanding ... do you clean epoxy in between coats and if so how ? Thank you very much.

Once you get the look you want do you put a last coat of Epoxy?
Just found your page love how your tumblers turn out I do have a question when adding vinyl do you add it before you add a second coat of epoxy and add the epoxy over the vinyl
yes. Vinyl then epoxy to seal the vinyl in
I know this video was made a few years ago. I am just starting out on the tumblers. I am waiting for my alcohol ink to come, can I use craft smart resin inks?
Great video
Thanks for posting it
Damn that is a sick color 👍👍
beautiful
I did it!!!❤️
Awesome!!!!
It did help
Can you tell me what turner motor you have please, ours are slow compared to tours in this video. We need one Bad! Thanks!!
love it
Thank you for your videos!!!
Beautiful!!!!
Nice work it looks great. Just wondering how toxic is that stuff since you are wearing gas mask and is it safe to put it on something you will be drinking out of?
Once cured, there is no smell and not toxic. Most are FDA approved. If you don’t want to put your mouth on it, you can always use a straw.
Can I use a stainless steel with silicone coating instead of spray painting it??
I’m having issues with bumps. Could you tell me what I’m doing wrong please 😩
What type of bumps are you having? Reach out to my Facebook page so you can send photos to help assist you more.
Do you sand before you prep with alcohol??
How can I clean spray paint that got inside the cup?
Newbie here, do you have to add so many colors? Could a person use only 3 colors?
You can add as many or little colors as you like
How much would you recommend selling it for ? Something like that ? Im trying to start doing that soon but in new to this.
Do you tape the rim or inside of cup before painting?
If you dont add a decal, are you done after the while drying process you explained or do you do another thin coat of epoxy? Thanks!
I would add the decal then add 30 ml of epoxy
@@MissKissKreations if you don't do a decal are you done or do you add a clear top coat?
Do u need a fast speed to do this kind tumblers? I only have 1 speed turner
Any speed works!
Just starting to try tumbler making. Do you have to spray paint when you prep or can you use acrylic paint?
You can use either or
Is this going to work if i use liquid rein pigments instead of the alcohol ink? What is the difference?
Where do you get the decals?

If you didn’t put a decal would you still put another layer of epoxy? I find my tumbler is very bumpy
If you don't have 91% alcohol what should you use?
Love it tfs Lela
I spray painted my tumbler like you said and added the epoxy then the ink but as it spun it created spot that the ink and epoxy didn't stick I guess a fish eye is what you called it. I'm just wondering what I could have done wrong and how to avoid it

Can your tumbler be black to do pink and blue or does it have to be white
Yes
Is satin spray paint good
Do you have to wpoxy the tumblet after it has cured completely of you arent using a decal?
I bought gloss spray paint not knowing. Could I use it and then lightly sand it to roughen the surface before epoxy?
Thank you! Did you sand and then add another layer of epoxy after it dries?
If there are areas where I found the inks didn’t stick or epoxy fish eyed, I will epoxy again. To be safe. Epoxy a thin layer. Or. If you want to decal, decal then epoxy.
@@MissKissKreations do we still need to prep it if it’s already white if we buy them at the store?
@@kamerynk I’m curious about the store bought white ones too
Yea, I think im gonna make myself alcohol tumblers. The glitter is too messy! Great videos! Thank you.
Where did you get the blue mat under the cup?
Will a blender solution work because I can’t find white alcohol ink.
As long as it isn’t too think. It needs to be the consistency of alcohol ink to get that swirl.
How do you get rise of the black alcohol ink that's inside the top of the cup
After the alcohol ink stage as cured it’s 12 hrs do you sand, decal and epoxy? I’m wanting to try this method but not sure if a tumbler can be sanded after alcohol ink.
You can sand lightly if it’s needed. But don’t have to. Apply the decal then epoxy
@@MissKissKreations thank you!
If I don’t add a decal to this and just want this do I still need another layer of epoxy?
Yes you will need to add another layer of epoxy if you add a decal to seal decal in! :)
@@justmomin1590 she said if she doesn't add a decal...
You mention that we need a white alcohol ink, does a white mixative from Tom Holtz work?
I would suggest white alcohol ink and not a mixative. The mixative s are too thick and won’t mix or swirl
Miss Kiss Kreations thank you for replying!! I just got done with ordering a white alcohol ink!! Super excited to try your project! 🥳
Are these dishwasher safe?
All stainless steel tumblers are hand wash only.
How do you get the epoxy smooth without any bumps? I can’t seem to make it smooth. After dry I will run my fingers over it and it feels uneven. Thanks
Make sure your turner and table is level. This may your issue
How much epoxy did you use?
Loveit❤❤
How can you get this effect if the turner you have want unscrew
Need to know this as well
Linda Gunnin I just took my whole turner and moved it around and got the swirl but I want to get a turner that you can remove the arm
What product do you use. I see you don't have a mask on?
This was filmed years ago before I knew the dangers of epoxy. Live and learn I guess lol. Products in description
How can I get red to stay red not pink once I add the white?
Maybe add some orange. Remember, adding white to any alcohol ink color will change it lighter. So, you may have to start with a different color to achieve your desired colors.
How do you get alcohol ink off of the stainless steel tumbler? I got it on the inside of the cup. Please help
Can I do this to plastic
Do using alcohol pens work to?
I’m not too sure. Sorry. 😕
What if I'm not too happy about how it ended can put another coat and do more alcohol inks
I need your help. It's not that hard to miss it up because I did. For some reason mine never does what I need it to do
practice makes perfect I have failed so many times!
What Company let you test there cup Turner?
Usually when you have a social media account with a bunch of followers, the companies reach out to you. I got an awesome cup Turner on Amazon.
How do you figure out the price for an alcohol ink tumbler?
Can you tell me why my ink is bubbling? The alcohol ink turns into bubbles exposing the white primer, no matter how much ink I do.
How do you keep from getting paint inside the tumbler?
I allow the paint in the cup. I just clean out the inside. Check out my video on how I clean out the inside of a tumbler! :)
I'd use a better epoxy, one with low VOC so you don't have to use a respirator. Great videos. Do you apply a top coat over the color coat?
Thank you. And if some areas fish eye, I will epoxy over. Or if I decal, I will decal then epoxy.
I think i did something wrong mines doesn't have the same effect can u tell me that I did wrong please
I have watched it several times, and finally attempted my first alcohol ink/epoxy tumbler, the epoxy has numerous bubbles and I couldn't get them out. Cup it ruined. As far as I am concerned. HELP, please.
My white ink won’t spread and separate??? What am I doing wrong?
What happens if ink or epoxy gets on the inside of the cup?
Check out my video on how to clean the inside of your tumbler
What if you don’t have a turning thing.
Just wondering-I have used resins a lot but not with dyes .. My cup is a little sticky--not the kind of sticky you get when you don't mix properly. Just wondering if its normal.
