- this week was..... a week. 🙃 from getting stuck in a snow storm for five hours at 20 weeks pregnant to acquiring a LARGE wishlist plant-- i definitely experienced some highs and lows. this months week of was not my usual, i decided to only film for three days since i wasn't feeling great but i hope i still put something together for you guys that you can do your own plant chores too! also this month marks TWO YEARS since this week of series went up! thank you guys sooo much for making this series such a successful one on this channel. you guys continue to blow me away!

I have 2 cats. When I was pregnant, my obgyn and midwife told me that I am more at risk to get toxoplasmosis from meat than from my indoor cats, so I shouldn't be scared of cleaning the cat trays. As for PICA - it's an eating disorder that not only pregnant women face. Everyone can have this. Both my rescue cats have it. One is obsessed with any silicone thing it can get to: straws, binkeys, baby teethers, the other one is absolutely crazy about plastic bags 😂😂

I'd love to see you do the plant doctor as a regular series! Like that one video where people sent in pictures and descriptions of the plant problems and you try to diagnose it. I enjoyed the slightly shorter video this time honestly I could watch it in one sitting this time. 😁

I've used deep transparent drawer organizers for crawlers if that's an option for you. Lightweight and no breakage so far going on two years. You can also check construction supply stores for deep industrial vessels but of course you have to check what they're made of, or line them. :)

Try and defund our why I was doing that. Lots of blood tests, saw a cardiologist who put me on a cardiac monitor for a. Month that showed nothing. I finally figured out my I take was do low I wasn’t getting enough nutrients. I was trying to lose weight and eating/drinking nothing but fruit shakes that I made in this blender. I wasn’t getting enough calories. lol
1:19:38 so, I use drawer organizers from the dollar tree for cheap crawling pots!

Since I started using Microbe-Lift BMC Biological mosquito control recommended by Oh the places you'll grow channel one month ago, I have no fungus gnats anymore. Not a single one. It's the same stuff as mosquito bits but in a liquid form, so much easier to use. You don't need to make a tea with it like you do with mosquito bits. I use one drop for one gallon and it eliminated my knats problem. I found it on Amazon US and had it shipped to me here in Canada just fine. I have 90% of my collection in semi hydro and I water all my plants with it with no issue
I think you would really enjoy a philodendron raphidaphora dragon tail. I believe they also have variegated ones as well

Talking about the anthurium rise and collectors prices... I bought 5 crystallinum seeds for $25 like 6mo ago. And I mean unrooted seeds in moss. They all worked and I wanted a few more but now they sell for $100 for 5 seeds. Insaneeeeeee

I think you asked for video suggestions in this video (maybe it was another one?). I had an idea maybe other subscribers would also like. The idea would be like a round up of what you’ve learned or updates to how you do xyz. For example pest treatment or soil mix. For me, I’ll catch a comment about efn or how to handle a certain plant in a situation I’m in, but UA-cam makes it impossible to search to find the same video again. Alice mentioned it at one point how your (and her) videos don’t show up on searches for like “how to treat spider mites” yet you’ve shared stuff with us in Week Ofs, the info is just mixed in.
I'd say you drove great in the snow and ice if you made it home! If you're sliding around everywhere like the idiots that wrecked, then you're not driving well. So good job! It's definitely stressful driving in it!
And ya! What is it with people in plant groups.!? I can't even stand being in them anymore cuz I'm the kind that goes after the people being jerks, and somehow people end up making me the bad guy 😂🤣😂 So I avoid it at all costs..!

I do have one pole. It’s on my double monstera. I kinda bought it by accident. Wasn’t paying attention. I out by the east window and ignored it till I found it leaving way over. So I put a stick in there and clipped it up. And then I had to make a low when it started fenestrating. I couldn’t ignore it any more so I made a moss pole. But it’s crooked in the pot. So I have to tilt the pot back and water it so it doesn’t drip forward into my digs water bowl. lol.

Have you tried using zevos to at least attract & kill the adult gnats? That with the use of bonide systemic granules worked for me, but i know you can’t get the bonide in Canada 😕. But i swear by those zevos! Even in the summer when flies get into the house, by the next morning i always find them stuck to the zevo bc the blue light attracts most bugs. Worth a try 💚
Wishlist: the red spider is really cool, i found one from Epp so gorg, also the red elephant papil.
My favorite go to that I crave is Taco Bell. My mom would save her Pennie’s and we would go to taco bell and get one of each thing and cut it your ways. There were. Three kids and mom. So it’s a favorite place and takes me back to childhood. When my sister and o go out to dinner when we’re on the road we stop at Taco Bell for lunch.
Ohh coffee shop, talking about it, since 2021 i already plan to put up a specialty coffee shop business in Ph but still not able to settle coz of some financial stability being the only person to support the family when it comes to finances, i just couldnt leave them and focus on myself alone so i decided to continue working as a Barista Trainer/Instructor here in Kuwait. Also, i tried applying in Canada but the offer wasnt good enough for my recent expenses and way lower than my recent monthly salary so hoping that there is some interesting offer i CA since most of my closest friends are there already (but i never chasing after my friends, im more into my future).

My huperzia squarrosa lives in and is outgrowing my rudsta in 78% humidity. Actually one of my easiest going plants,in moss and treefern.i was so scared of them but now I want more but can't find any that are affordable. 😮❤

I personally love to share what i have and like hear some constructive advises for my collections. If i read some nasty comments, i just somehow poke and leave 🤣🤣🤣.
When it comes to my collections, i always also love to literally post the entire ID of my collections to also encourage everyone to share their experiences as someone that is new to the hobby. For example, this month of January, i purchased around 30 species/var of anthoriums and they are coming from outside philippines which is they need a proper acclimation process which is a challenge for me since im out of the country to really take good care of my collections.

I think a lil history series on certain plants would be so fun! You’re so thorough with everything… I bet a lil plant history series would be so fun! Whether it’s a genus, a species etc. I’d love someone who does a regular series in specific species… like philo Brazil, or monstera Peru.. when it was first collected, identified, by who, etc blah blah you know? It’s always been a challenge finding species history!
