- this might be my last wednesday upload for awhile! as this goes up i'm almost 33 weeks pregognant and it's getting harder and harder to keep up with 2x a week videos. plus i'm in the final stages of nesting and really need to get everything done in case little dude decides to come early. ANYWAYYYY in this video i finally combine my two yvesrocheri plants (+ took some cuttings to sell later!) and re-trellised my hoya mathilde that needed a larger trellis like.... last year. while i repot i tell the story of my recent nightmare marketplace buy and how i am currently suffering the consequences of my actions 🙃

This reminds me of when I found my dream dresser, only to go pick it up and realize the base was covered in mold. They knocked 100 off the price, but it took me over a week of leaving it in the garage and treating it every day. 5 years later there's no signs of mold, but I still check on a regular basis....
Giiirl....I FEEL this energy so hard. You are doing the absolute most right now. You are making a whole person, and keeping your plant babies stunning, AND nesting like a MOTHER. You're amazing. This rug story sounds exactly like something I would do.😅 And once you're postpartum, you may not smell that rug at all. You have a super nose right now. Pregnancy super power. LOVE EVERYTHING you're doing. ❤️

Your Mathilde looks beautiful. Great trellis work. I wind my around do I can use fewer clips. Though I accidentally bought 2000 clips. So I’ll never run out. lol 😂
I bought an upholstered chair really cheap from a hotel liquidation outlet. I brought it home, it seemed fine. But somehow overnight I had nightmares about bedbugs. The next day, my roommate made fun of me and said I had chairanoia. I really didn't care what they thought. I took that chair right out to the curb and never looked back.

I have 3 lacunosas in Pon and they are doing great. I just got 2 cuttings of Mathilde and will do one in Pon and one in soil.

No you did great on the carpet shampooing. I’ve got a full sized carpet cleaner and the dirt occasionally looks like that.
Thank you for taking time to continue posting these videos. So sorry about your nightmare with the carpet - I am the same way about not liking confrontation. I hope the cleaners do a good job. The Mathilde looks awesome. I love those round trellises. I have a Pubicalyx on one of those and it has totally covered it up, looks really great. You will know this was a good choice when the Mathilde covers it all up.
The cleaners did so good! It’s so much cleaner and smells great. I’m relieved 😮💨 also I can’t wait until my Mathilde gets bushier! It’s looking so bare and funny right now, but just reminding myself that good things take time 🧘🏻♀️

Agreed with a poor rating and contact her. I look at ratings for sure when buying from fb so you will be helping others

Ok! I live in Florida and we had a perfect weather morning...and it is in fact April so as I was driving into work I of course was quoting Miss Congeniality....I feel haunted now. Maybe it is a sign that I literally Have to watch that movie 😂😂😂

I had the same experience with a couch. We were dirt poor and got a couch from market place for like $40 it looked really good in the pictures and the girl seemed really nice. We were double masked when we picked it up and put it in the bed of the truck and once we got home we noticed it reeked of weed. Luckly I had the spot cleaner thinggy and I cannot tell you how many times I went over that damn couch!! but I did it until the water ran clean because I too had a small child. At the time my son was like a year old. I promised myself I'd ask more questions from then on when buying second hand, especially if it was expensive. Oh and we ended up only having that couch for like six months, my mom and I ended up finding a pottery barn couch in really good condition for also like $30 at the thrift store, when I went over it with spot cleaner barely anything came out of it.
Ugh that’s so gross!! Ive purchased a used couch before and it also had a smell that I had to call a cleaner to come in a have it cleaned. Even after it was cleaned I was still kind of grossed out so we ended up getting rid of it when we moved. But that’s so awesome you found a clean couch at a thrift store- and pottery barn too!

That’s a biggg circle trellis. Mine are much smaller that I got off of Amazon.
I actually may add a smaller one to the pot too so that I can trellis it around both and it’ll look super bushy

I’m so happy you got a cissus!! Also my Thompsonii needs a repot and some love soon too. Also I highly recommend the spot cleaner!! Such a nifty little tool that’s super easy to use and doesn’t require much storage space.

Hiii ! Why do you put leca on the bottom ? I’ve been having an issue with stem / root rot ? Does the leca help ?
I use it as a reservoir! I think the stem and root rot you’re dealing with may be more of a substrate / environmental thing rather than how it’s potted. If you can give me an idea of your situation I might be able to help! Alternatively I have a discord chat you can join where you can post and ask for advice from other people. Totally! I’ve had one jute rug that was actually quite soft, but most of them don’t feel great on bare skin.
