      I am truly behind the times but I have to say Irene is a phenomenal braider…. There is only one other salon where I live that can produce such beautiful styles ( Sisters African Braiding in Salisbury,MD) Just like you… they are BEAST when it comes to hair care and braiding. I have subscribed and watched you several times. I love your tutorials. You truly make it make sense! Thank you💕

    Thank you for the video I am here because I have 3 daughters and my 13 year old is going to high school. I have always done box braids but I used rubber bands. I’ve been advised this will no longer work as it will look too childish. I’ve never used extensions but I’m sure it won’t look as nice with just natural hair. All my daughters have long hair and I was glad to hear you state how long the style can last. I would like to give this a try I think you have definitely given me inspiration 😊

    Been braiding my hair myself for a while now but I've never quite understood if I add more hair when u get to the top or I continue to add the same amount all the way to the end ....as it relates to getting the same length at the end

    • @IrenesBraids
      @IrenesBraids  2 роки тому

      Yes add hair to the ends to meet the lower back length.

    I'm 62 retired and learning ALL of the techniques to find the best one for my thin hair and I do it myself. This was the best feed in video I've seen. Thank you for the close up angle and the speed of really showing how to do the feed in. I'll definitely be trying feed in now instead of knotted box braids given I wear them year round 😅. Much love and blessings to you and stay safe everyone.🥰🤎🖤🙏

    Really good video! Angles were really good and explanation made sense. Trying for this method for the first time on my daughter's hair. I haven't worked with weave before but I'm willing to try. I do have one question... how many pieces did you add to your braid before you began braiding the rest of the way down? I think I counted 4-5 pieces?

    • @IrenesBraids
      @IrenesBraids  2 роки тому

      I feel it as I'm braiding if I need to add more. Go off of touch and add as needed after.

    Thank you for posting this video, as the instructions are clear and easy to follow. This is one of two videos I watched while doing my first knotless braid on my hair. The end product far exceeded my expectations! Now I think I could become the queen of knotless braids!

    great tutorial, as usual, Miss Irene.
    Victoria's hair is beautiful. I love this style. To me the size is perfect, I think mid-back would be long enough for me.
    Because of my face shape, I'm not a fan of center parts. I would like to see how you would part and braid the top section with a side part.

      The beauty of knotless braids, is that they can be styled in a the middle or side part immediately after service. Thank you so much for watching and leaving feedback. ❤️
