Omg thank you a million times over. I have 3 children(all girls)ages 14,10,and 2. My oldest daughter has very thick hair and since she got in high school I realize alot of past hairstyles that I use to get away with or didn't know how to do I can't get away with anymore. So I would have to pay certain people for certain hairstyles (like box braids) which is expensive with her hair being so thick,coarse, and long. So this Friday I'm trying it out according to this video for her first homecoming dance. Wish me luck.

This method is soooooo perfect for me! School is about to start and my daughters hair is waist length and I’m not comfortable at all crocheting the hair through so I think I can handle this method because waking up every morning combing hair is not what I’m trying to do this year so thanks sis 💕

Oui talentueuse et patiente..Moi j'ai les cheveux frisés et si ça ne tenais qu'à moi j'aurai tout rasé.Bref j'ai résolu le problème avec bandeaux,bonnets ,chapeux etc,en cas de force majeure un brusching...Alors là mille bravo,sur cheveux crépus la patience de bien vérifier le trai de séparation.Elle a des yeux derrière pour tant de précision???Chapeau bas.mille bravos.🎉

Thank you greatly for this video! Never have I did a full head of hair in extensions until I used your tutorial (first timer) . I was able to bless my daughter with braids for her birthday 🙌🏾. She loves them.
It took me about 12 hours to complete though 🤣. It was a labor of love and they were Sm/Med in size. I know it will take less time when I next do this.

I do all my ponytails first, then crochet the hair through the ponytail. I feel like it makes it a faster process. Your braids are soooo pretty too!!! ❤

I use the crochet needle also. Do you wrap the other hair around the rubber band or crochet it through also?
@@karenalexander2446 yeah I just crochet the one piece into the ponytail and then just wrap the other hair and braid it like a regular box braid

Used to have issues with the gripping of the braid and it would fall out in seconds I’m gonna try this method and see if it works for me especially with my short hair! Seems like it will work, very great tutorial.

This method is great for twists too. You can rubberband the section of hair, then use a crochet needle to pull the hair through. I'll try this method though, no needle necessary.

I can't braid my own to save my life and I'm left handed lol. But, I will definitely give this a try. I taught myself how to braid a regular ponytail but haven't gotten the concept down to start it yet.
