When traveling to do my typical long form interviews I try to stop at all the Vegan Restaurants I can along the way. I noticed a pattern with these restaurants. The overwhelming majority seem to have been galvanized into fruition by a success story. After recovering from Heart Disease, Chronic Pain, Multiple Sclerosis, Ehlers Danlos, Cancers, Polycystic Ovarian Syndrome, Ulcerative Colitis, Crohn's Disease, Myasthenia Gravis, Lupus, Bronchitis, Fibromyalgia, etc.
Here's a playlist of some of the other success stories I have in the mix: ua-cam.com/play/PLmSzj4R9w2MDcGo9Z9gY2IGUNzfg4EpwH.html
I've been publishing content more frequently lately because I have so much to get out there before I can transition into the topic of Raising Children Vegan. Anywho, back to cutting!

Awesome! Please don’t forget about breastfeeding. Raising vegan kids starts with remembering that we are mammals and need our mothers milk for at least 2-4 years to develop properly: healthy immune systems, proper oral development and straight teeth and strong jaws, and healthy, loving attachment to regulate our emotions and hormones.

Amen to ALL OF THAT!! I had to withdrawal from opioids and I had major health issues from pills, liver and kidneys weren’t going to make it much longer, until I learned about a plant diet!! I’m 5 years opioid free and 4 years on a plant diet, and meditation BROUGHT me to plant based!! I had to change my thoughts, and then I had to change my body. I’ve never felt better and my kidney and liver are back to functioning and no signs of anything. Doctor was even shocked!! HE didn’t tell me ANYTHING about a Plant diet!! We need to learn on our own!!!!!

Hey Gigi, I loved your testimony. It is edifying! My testimony is similar to yours. 2 years ago I was diagnosed with heart failure with one of my coronary arteries 80% blocked. While awake in the catherization lab with the catheter still in my chest the doc informed me about the blockage and recommended inserting a stent to open the artery. That’s the standard treatment. Gigi, I also prayed before this procedure and felt strongly led to decline the stent and trust the Lord Jesus Christ, the one to whom I prayed. I decided to trust Him whether I lived or died…whatever His will was for me. That was June 2022. As instructed by the Lord I started a whole food plant based diet and subsequent exams have shown improvement! No more chest pains. Ejection fraction increased. PVC’s diminished. Lost 30 lbs. So, I concur with your decision to trust and obey. Thanks for sharing your story!! To God be the glory!

It is crazy that I didn't connect mental, spiritual health with what i was eating until I heard Shane Sterling comment on it. If we eat better our vibration is higher therefore we receive higher thoughts and manifest a more positive experience. This still blows my mind. Everything we are programmed with since birth is so wrong and we grow up eating unhealthy and having so many issues. It's crazy.

I now do raw vegan. After being diagnosed with diverticulitis and being told, it will always flare up. I totally changed my diet
Not only did I improve my gut colon, but I also lost the menopause weight that creeper on me.
I refuse to listen to the negative people who keep telling me that being raw vegan or vegan is ba for you. You can't get your protein or B12. Absolute rubbish.
My menopause especially is under control, no hot flushes, not sweats, no longer bloated.
My sleep has improved my moods dramatically, and my stomach is flat as a pancake. My flat stomach was not aim, but I am truly grateful.
    My sugar craving is non-existent.
    Combined with intermittent fasting, too.
    I follow a kristina raw.

so sorry to hear that, thanks for watching and sharing! I'm so curious, did you smoke? I've heard that beta carotene rich foods are great for the lungs like sweet potatoes and carrots of course and romaine lettuce, and cruciferous vegetables like kale, broccoli, etc... include sprouts too! I would definitely do those on the daily, (and if you heat them, be sure to add a little raw cruciferous to synthesize sulforaphane, I'll sprinkle some mustard powder), if I got a high risk prognosis and wanted to do something about it I would try TrueNorth. But, that's just me... keep a good variety of greens in the mix. Best wishes!

@@theresiamackey7951 I think Gigi also went to Hippocrates Wellness. That's in Florida and a great option and alternative to True North. Another great option to consider is Eat to Live retreat that Dr Joel Fuhrman runs. I don't know what he would do but I'm assuming maybe a juice fast. But that's a total guess and I'm not a physician and you really need to consult with one. Ideally one that practices his lifestyle medicine. You can make some great kale smoothies. Maybe invest in a Vitamix because those seem to be the best blenders on the market. It might be expensive up front but it's worth it in the long run. Don't wait for those potatoes to grow, go buy some sweet potatoes, romaine lettuce is also a great source of beta-carotene. I think a kale smoothie would be better than kale chips and probably less expensive. You can get a huge bag of organic kale for really cheap usually at places like Walmart. You can steam it lightly or essentially blanch it by pouring boiling water over it and letting it sit for a few minutes, or add it raw to a smoothie. Start incorporating these foods into your diet everyday so you can benefit from the cumulative effects of their healing potential.

yeah, sugar, salt is probably the most deadly insidious thing right next to sugar, oil, processed foods which include body parts, organs and secretions, all kinds of things are problems. When you're focused on a whole food vegan diet then a little sugar isn't likely to cause a problem. I have zero craving for added sugar or added salt. I mean this in the nicest way… why do channels do these awesome interviews but don’t include the interviewee’s contact info or location in the description of the video they’re interviewed in?? Gigi shared a wonderful story and it would be nice if her information was included in the description so we could easily see it without searching or waiting til the end of the video. I guess I answered my own question...the goal is to get more views more than sharing info. Very good interview. Loved it.
Edit- Finished entire video and the information shared was her business name Gigi’s Health and Wellness in Kansas City. No address, no contact info, no alternate way to buy her products if you don’t live in Kansas City. And no specifics about her festival. I hope you edit the description to add those things.

I currently just use things like ceylon cinnamon, fresh ground organic clove, cardamom, ginger in my porridge. Throughout the day I'll add turmeric with pepper, and parsley, sage, rosemary and thyme from my garden, and various others... But, at some point I want to hone in on stepping this up and incorporating some new ones.

Hello how can I purchase your product trying to eat healthy please

    • @VeganLinked
      @VeganLinked  Місяць тому

@@lawandahardy8569 Go to the grocery store and purchase legumes, greens, grains, fruits, veggies, mushrooms, nuts, seeds, herbs and spices and a variety of each. Check out the daily dozen app by nutritionfacts.org if you need help with that. And Google whole food vegan diet recipes.
So legumes would be things like black beans and lentils, split peas, soybeans, tofu, etc. Greens would be like romaine, arugula, kale, mixed greens, etc. Grains would be groat or steel cut oats, kamut, Farro, bulgur, whole grain rice, etc. and maybe quinoa fits in there too... Fruits you know what those are probably but things like kiwi, mango, apples, grapefruit, watermelon, etc and organic when you can. Veggies would be things like sweet potatoes, broccoli, cabbage, bok choy, carrots, onions like purple and green, etc. mushrooms you know what those are just get a variety. Nuts like walnuts are the best and every now and then a Brazil nut. The best seeds are whole flax seeds that you grind with a coffee grinder and you could do chia seeds that way too, hemp seeds are great also, sunflower seeds, pumpkin seeds, those are the ones I try to get. Herbs and spices would be like Ceylon cinnamon, clove, cardamom, turmeric, parsley, sage, Rosemary, thyme, oregano, etc.

Your friend needs to acquire that from a doctor they are working directly with. I would consider reaching out to Dr Joel Fuhrman or Dr Goldhamer. Or maybe even both. They both offer a program where you can stay there for a certain amount of time. Dr Fuhrman is one month at least, his is called Eat to Live Retreat. Dr Goldhamer has different lengths of time based on your condition and his program is called True North. I would probably start with Dr Goldhamer.
