Going plant base has made a major difference in my life. Diagnosed with an auto immune disease and told I had a terminal illness in which I had 7years to live. I continued to eat meat until in 2017, when the doctors said I had 3 years left of life, with less than 20% lung capacity. I was told my only hope in life was a double lung transplant in 2017. In 2018, I became a vegan, losing 55 lbs, lots of energy, no hospitalization since then, no prednisone,, and no harsh drugs. I use oxygen when exercising because I have little left of my lungs but I'm thanking God to be able to walk 6 to 7 miles a day, lots of drunk and energy and because my health has greatly improved, they have been able to hold off on the double lung transplant. Yes the vegan diet combined with the Holy Spirit will give you Optimal Health. I feel great, and doctors are still questioning how I am able to do so much with little lungs left. I just tell them, it's the spirit of God in me.
In Jesus Name! God is so good! We praise Him and continue to believe for your full healing and complete recovery in Jesus's Name! The Holy Spirit is always on point! Be blessed and have a wonderful Christmas! Keep up the great work! Your message is inspiring! What the enemy tried to use to defeat you, God has turned around and used for His glory! Just you posting this has probably affected so many people in a positive way and made them look to God for the answers! When we focus on what He has made, it really makes a difference!
I went vegan on November 1, 2022, so it's only been five weeks. But I am AMAZED. My terrible arthritis is nearly gone as all the inflammation has left my body. I feel better at 52 than I ever have. I'm hooked!
No it's down to the politicians and givernment regulations. Doctors can't go against that. The politicians are mostly men high on their own power, they want their meat and beer.
I'm currently 395 lbs. I've made the decision to go plant based after the dr said I was a borderline diabetic. I was like nope. My goal is to be 195 lbs ripped again. I gained weight after breaking my back and going through a horrible divorce. Time to make a change
You can do it 💪 I went whole food plant based in 2020 and and am down 119lbs. I'm finding it easier to maintain than any other way of eating and I have tried everything.
I have lost 128 pounds since May 2020 and am now UK size 6 down from a uk size 22. I'm plant exclusive cos I have so many food intolerances. Still losing 2 pounds a week and because I have so much energy I've avoided loose skin by walking 10 miles a day
Veganism was the best decision that i made. Became pescatarian in 2000 and went fully vegan in 2004. I'm a couple years from my half-century...and i feel great!
It is the second time I hear someone talking about the "lightness" you feel when going vegan. I thought it was only me that felt like that. Good to know others have experienced it as well.
I thought it was “hippy dippy” when I tried to explain it to others about the lightness that came over me once I gave up the meat and dairy. It’s really hard to explain to others, but I’m glad I’m hearing others saying the same.
It's almost like a feeling of having a lighter spirit. I feel very free in my thoughts. No more cloudiness and deep depressive thoughts. Just lightness and happiness. I feel amazing.
I’m 23. For two years straight I was dealing with extreme pain all over my body to where I felt like I was 50 years old. My bones popping like popcorn. I removed I did 3 weeks of no meet and dairy. I felt so alive. But than I went back to eating meet no dairy. All the sudden my body was way worse than before. I just felt dead. I love exercising. And I couldn’t it. So I went back to eating just eating WFPB diet. 3 weeks in my body felt more alive, and I had more energy. I have no one to thank but the Lord Jesus Christ. He definitely lead me to this decision. As I was miserable, my mental health horrible, I could barely keep a job. I was hurting and my mental health was just so bad. But again I give praise to the Most High. He saved my life!!!
I started the "plant-based diet/vegan" and I can't believe how I feel, JUST FANTASTIC!!! I am 76 yrs young, and I have always been particular about what I would eat, but I wasn't "vegan", I ate a lot of meat and oils, but since I changed to vegan, I feel 100% percent better.
its becuase you have cleared out the shit in your diet but once the nutrient deficiencies kick in you wont be feeling fantasic people can feel great eating meat its all about how people sourse there meat
you only feel better becuase you removed al the crap from your diet but that wont last once your animal stores run out and the diet not giving you what you need
@@darrenmcintosh8471 Bullshit. I've been exclusively vegetarian and macrobiotic in my past. Currently, I eat small amounts of chicken and fish, but I don'kid YOURself
ok right lets get something stright here im trying to help you so you dont destroy your health ok like many poeple are doing on a vegan diet the vegan diet is nutritionally deficient its a incomplete diet it doesnt give you all that you need there are around 7 nutrients that you cant get from plants that you need for proper brain functioning longterm when people first go vegan they feel great becuase they have cleared out all the crap process food in there diet all the nasty fat and refined sugars and you still have animal nutrients stored in your body how ever once they run out deficienty kicks in its all so worth bearing in mind that just becuase your comsume something dooes mean your absorbing the nutrients from those foods which is why 85% of vegans drop out eating meat is the healthiest diet out there if your geting it from a good sourse such as organic grass fed pasture raised
It's nearly a month since I've switched to vegan and I noticed within the first week my sleep patterns were better. I had SO much more energy throughout the day...no more "sleepy" periods after lunch or between that 2pm-4pm timeframe when I used to want to "snack" on chips or cookies or ice cream or all three. So glad I am one because I'm EXCITED about trying out different recipes to help make vegan dishes from former dishes I used to eat (that were processed mainly). Example: mac & cheese...who knew I could figure out a vegan cheese sauce can be made from a potato / carrot base, or cashew nuts or even tofu? and nutritional yeast? wow...learned so much more about better nutrition for my body being a vegan...and just my body "feeling" like it had a makeover (without going into surgery)...its happy now and performs for me when I need it (I work out 2x/day now vs. 1x/day...and I'm now doing yard work like pulling weeds of blackberry bushes which I would never attempt to do because I hate being outside and doing yardwork - but its movement and physical activity and my body has all this extra "energy" that needs an output - and my yard is looking good slowly but surely. I'm toning and strengthening my body with core workouts now..I walk faster..my clothes are getting loose, the pounds are coming off consistently each week and my overall mood has improved about my outlook on life and the best: I am so excited that I will hopefully attain where I can get off my diabetic & high blood pressure meds or at least reduce it to the LOWEST dosage. VEGAN 4-EVER!
It all started with the Daniel fasting for me and then I switched to Vegan.Initially I thought it was in my head, that I was feeling different so much that I had to do research why Im feeling so energetic.
I'm 69 and have been a vegan for two years and my only regret is that I didn't do it sooner. I feel in the best shape I've ever been. I'm fairly skinny but I did lose weight -- two pounds ! (I've been the same weight for about 50 years).
I am 65 and have decided to stop procrastinating and start focusing on my health and start with vegetarian then go hopefully gradually go vegan. Really hoping it’s not to late to repair the body
@@orainey890I started veganism at age 63, 7 years ago after my thyroidectomy from thyroid cancer. My health and longevity are very important to me. I cannot examine not being vegan as it’s a lifetime commitment. Feel great 😊 I have energy for my workouts and love healthy clean living.
Nearly 50. Stopped eating meat in 1989, now a vegan. I've spent a few nights in hospital due to various injuries but I've never been proper ill, touch wood! I like these spiritual beings talking here, they are good people.
@@davidmack5689 Veganism can run parallel to any religious belief, I don't judge my parents for eating meat either, it's a silly question really. I believe it would be really good for your biome for you to try a vegan diet for six weeks, and why not? What have you got to lose? Jesus will love you either way.
I just became vegan three and a half weeks ago(One month on this coming Friday, July 21st. I'm very excited about this new lifestyle and it's forever. I'm going to a hematologist on August 4th.I can't wait to see what's been happening since my beginnings of the vegan lifestyle. ❤
Coming up on three years vegan- my LDL went down by 24%, total cholesterol by 25%, and triglycerides by 39%. I also used to have severe eczema on my fingers, and it has completely cleared up and I haven't had an outbreak since.
I did not realize what I was missing as I was not prepared to listen. For many years I was not receptive to this lifestyle, but eventually I became willing to listen. I am shocked at the general positive impacts it made in most areas of my life, Physical, Spiritual, Mental. Four years later I am forever changed for the better. I hope others can also become receptive when they are ready and feel the impacts for themselves. All the best.
I’ve only been on this vegan journey for 10 days but this video is super inspiring. I pray I keep pushing through. The recipes I’ve been acquiring are fun to make & yummy. But one total benefit in just 10 days is that my sinus issue cleared up! 🙌🏾
my psoriasis started at the age of 20, at the age of 28 I had already had my joints damaged. At the age of 44 polyarthritis started, I hurt all my joints terribly, I could not move without much pain, my skin was badly damaged. I started having depression. But thank you wives, it helped me discover the miracle of plant nutrition, which is in its second year. 90 percent of my psoriasis is gone, I still play basketball, travel, live a normal life. In two years, I bought PSA only from a plant-based food diet, no medication, I would feel great,
Oh I’m so glad you made this video I have never felt better. I have eaten healthy my whole life except that I didn’t know meat and dairy was harmful and now after not eating meat and dairy for six months I have never felt better in my whole life; I want to cry with tears of joy because my mind is happy and my body is happy I have dealt with depression on and off my whole life and I’ve never been happier in my whole life ever since I stopped eating dairy please everybody please listen to this video. Please stop eating animal flesh for foods, at least give it a try for a couple months please.
> I have eaten healthy my whole life except that I didn’t know meat and dairy was harmful... >> I [thought I had] eaten healthy my whole life except that I didn’t know meat and dairy was harmful...
So many good examples. One of the changes I noticed that I haven't heard anyone else talk about is how my skin feels. I can feel my muscles easier, which have also changed - firmer muscles, and the skin itself feels silkier. So far I'm the only one who's said anything like that. My 16 year old just rolls his eyes. HA! That lighter feeling and deeper connection is evident too. Wish I had done this earlier. (Vegetarian - 2015, vegan - 2018... I'm 57)
As a vegan I related to all these stories for all reasons mentioned in the video. I found this segment was so well done and edited seamlessly. Kudos to everyone who worked on this.
I'm from Rio de Janeiro, Brazil and I went vegan on June 2022. I tried hard years before but prices were prohibitive. I had a dog and watched "earthlings" and frankly I felt terrible eating animal produce. I insisted and began talking to the local vegan community and I learned with them that I didn't necessarily had to go entirely organic or eat fancy fruits and vegetables like cranberries, strawberries, almonds, chia, peaches, grapes, apples, blueberries, agave, etc. They told me I could and actually had to go local and eat more varieties of bananas, avocados, pineapple, hibiscus, guava, acerola, starfruits, coconut sugar, oranges, cashew, brazilian lettuce, manioc, limes, passion fruit, collard greens, okra, yams, chayote, peanuts, whole rice, flax seed and all sorts of beans. The price I had to pay decreased enormously. I found fruits, vegetables, legumes and roots that can't be even translated into English! Taioba, Almeirão, Jabuticaba, Jamelão, Pitanga, Açai, Cupuaçu, Umbu, Pequi, Ora-pro-Nobis, Cará, Araticum, etc.... gosh so many! Things that I have never heard before that are amazingly tasty and delicious and that can be ordinarily found in my country. Six months later into Veganism I feel great! It's not only my sense of guilt on animal cruelty that's gone but I'm full of energy at 55, much better than when I was 30, and not feeling a hint of depression, anxiety, insomnia, migraines or muscle and joint pain that I used to suffer from. It's like being reborn at midage! Another very important thing that I've noticed specially in times of Climate Change is that these fruits and vegetables - since they are not very caloric - have a very soothing and refreshing effect, so you don't feel very hot (in a good sense)!!!
Hello all, been vegan for over a year now and I just love it. I lost over 30 pounds and I have so much energy. No regrets for me. There is so much info about being vegan but you have to find that balance that works for you.
My friend went vegan and lost 10 pounds. She suggested this UA-cam and now you guys are starting to convince me to go vegan. I’m a bit scared to try it but I will start it today. Thank you!!
Awesome, I'm going to be uploading a new series of stories soon. Let me know if you have any questions. No reason to be scared of beans, greens, grains, fruits, veggies, mushrooms, nuts, seeds, herbs and spices! I've been vegan since 2011. My favorite tool that I didn't discover until a few years ago is the daily dozen app by nutritionfacts.org backed by the most comprehensive meta-analysis on nutritional science. It's totally free and simple as can be. I link to it here along with some other helpful stuff: VeganLinked.com/GoVegan but that app will get you eating a great variety whole plant foods. And nutritionfacts.org has thousands of concise videos linked from within that app that are educational and fun ❤
@Jonah Whale eating a variety of whole plant foods is the best way to achieve and maintain the perfect weight and optimum healthspan! ❤ your spot on about the vegan fails too, I've noticed the same thing. They never just stick with a variety of whole plant foods long enough to properly acclimate. And they never see a whole food plant based doctor. Most of it may also be resolved with a little time restricted intermittent fasting :)
@Jonah Whale time restricted intermittent fasting is excellent. It's a longevity hack. It isn't restricting calories at all, it just allows for a proper metabolic break from digesting. It's just eating everything within an 8 hour window or less. And getting bulk of calories earlier in the day. You're right that eating is emotional and people have toxic hunger rather than true hunger. It is just talking things to another level. Food really should merely be fuel to do great things... eat to live, not live to eat :)
@Jonah Whale, You talk too much. You gave great information, and then possibly minimized it's effect with your "Debbie Downer" attitude. Quit trying to "school" the producer of this video. He has done an awesome job interviewing people who were positive and did not verbally attack meat eaters.
I started my journey after New Years Day. I can say that I do have more energy. It has been challenging but I'm committed to the process. With all of my health issues, I needed to make a change and going vegan was something I had not tried.
I have severe ADHD and while I still struggle with my symptoms, they aren't near as intense as they've been, and I can actually function without having to be on my meds. I still take them from time to time, but they days I don't take them/forget to take them are far less mentally exhausting, and I can still function. My executive function has been phenomenal.
I love that it was mentioned about the expansion of compassion and love. I felt a symbolic veil lift and became extraordinarily empathetic. Thank you for this compilation - I will share it with my non-vegan spouse.
Three weeks tomorrow of going vegan! I don’t feel spiritual but I do love that I don’t have the urge to overeat or to eat too much of anything. I do feel the lightness mentioned. The quality of my sleep is much better I am hoping I will lose the extra weight that I am carrying around but I do this for the animals not as a diet. Thank you for sharing this video nice to see what people from all walks of life and who’s been doing it for decades experience!
Sweet! Thanks for watching and commenting. You're off to a great start. The daily dozen app by nutritionfacts.org is a great tool to help you get on a solid routine. A variety is important within the beans, greens, grains, fruits, veggies, mushrooms, nuts and seeds, herbs and spices!
Hi all. I've being vegan going on 8 years. My personal experience was long journey, but I felt spiritual amazing like I walk thru fire against those who did not understand the vegan lifestyle is optimal heath and spiritual foods that will feed your soul and spirit that is the mystery. I was able to heal within and forgive so many people. I am free and you will be free too. The Holy spirit is Real, ye shall be transformed by Fire and water. Stay strong you got this!
And thanks to you for beeing vegan. Helps the world tremendously. I became vegetarian for 1 year ago and closing ind to beeing vegan;) Why: 1. for the climate. 2. for animals rights 3. for my health... in that order;)
This is beautiful! You don’t realize the spiritual impact it has on you until you stop. When I stopped eating meat I felt so emotional about what felt like a sin to had been eating animals my whole life. I literally cried. I felt this profound amount of love and joy come into my life and I began to actually feel so much like never before. It makes sense that people shame veganism because it’s like religion, once you know the truth you’ll see and feel lighter and holy. Idk how to explain it. But I wish the world would wake up. I made love to my partner that was beyond me! Who knew man! I love this life differently.
I’ve been vegan-ish since 2014 thanks to “Forks Over Knives”. No weight or health revolutions, as I was already eating mostly veggies and little junk. I was hard-core for six years. I erred along the way with a few eggs and some shellfish. I had to stop sending back the Greek salad if the server brought it with feta cheese. I am vegan at home and as much as I can be when I’m out. I have learned how to veganize many restaurant menus. I will eat the vegetarian options when I am a guest. I’m not allergic. I changed my “label” to plant-based or vegetarian just so people don’t say, “I thought you said…“ Vegans are hard on vegans. It’s not a contest! It’s a fantastic life decision in terms of animal welfare, the environment, and your own personal health. I am still very confused over some nutritionist/doctor research. Grains good or bad? Olive oil good or bad? Nuts good or bad?
As for food, it's pretty straightforward, eat a variety of whole plant foods. So whole grains, nuts and seeds, beans, greens, fruits, veggies, mushrooms, herbs and spices are all legit and eat a variety of each. Oil is not a whole food. An olive is a whole food.
As for your relaxed approach, I can't imagine consuming any part of an animal or secretions so I would find it more appropriate to simply fast or plan better. Being consistent isn't fanatical, not that you're saying it is... but the implication would go there easy enough
I have been one of the biggest meat eaters. I have now become a vegitarian, and i am so surprised how easy it was. I still do not understand that it was that easy. Now that i do not gain anything from eating meat, i can se morally on it for the first time. When people like/gain somthing moral drops. If they do not, moral comes. I see that now, and what a discovery;)
@@VeganLinked I have now seen the link and switch to vegan. Is there somthing I have to do, regarding vitamins and other things, so I get all the right buildning blocks for my body?
@@bnk9477 You can get everything on a plant based diet, but I would start tracking your diet in Chronometer just to see what you may need to supplement. Usually vegans need to watch out for B12 deficiency, but a lot of plant milks are fortified with it.
Thank you very much for this! It is great to see other vegans! I’ve been vegan (or on a whole-foods, plant-based diet) for 5 years. I almost never meet other vegans, so this is amazing! Since going vegan, I feel like the blood can move through my body more easily. I feel better. Michael Greger, M.D., gave me the courage to go vegan.

The more videos I see from him and others on this channel I realize I've been abusing my body for so many years. Hoping by feeding it better fuel et al that I can undo some of the damage.
Whole Vegan diet. I suffered from metabolic syndrome (obesity, high cholesterol, high triglycerides, and high blood sugar). I went whole food plant based no sugar or oil and low salt and I lost 65 pounds, all my conditions greatly improved, my gums stopped bleeding, and erections and energy returned. I used to have an appetite that was never satisfied; whole foods cured it. I no longer use a sleep apnea machine. Finally, the food is cheap-Beans, lentils, sprouted flourless grain bread, rice, potatoes and seasonal apples. Also, I save money by not having to buy pills or visit the Doctor. I am thankful to all the vegans who suffered attacks to reveal the truth to me.
When I went fully WFPB vegan 🌱 I stopped getting sick! I used to be very sick but in 2018 was the last time I was sick ever. When I saw the massive amounts of colorful foods vegans ate and learned the types of foods vegans ate were anti-inflammatory I wanted to go from vegetarian to vegan quickly. My allergies, eczema, and energy was improved right away. I like to eat alot of food without worry and the vegan diet allows me to do that. I have overdone it with the fiber because i love broccoli so much but it ends up being fine. 😁 Going vegan was the best decision Ive made over the past 3 years. 💕

I've been vegan for 3 weeks and I find myself really enjoying the lifestyle, but every once in a while I have a negative thought. I haven't lost any weight, but I do feel lighter. I am having cravings for foods like pasta, burgers, and tacos, but I've been pushing myself to stay the course. I want to be successful and look back in a year at a slimmer, more healthy me.
Maybe try some new recipes. The cleaner, more whole foods you eat consistently the less you'll want anything less. Make black bean burgers, chickpea burgers, sweet potatoes burgers, jackfruit, lentil, etc all kinds of ways to make burgers. But I never make burgers. I'm more bowls, soups/salads...
What is terrific about this diet is that it isn’t just good for celebs but for the average person too. And it is something that because you can do it, it develops self-respect. People who do not care what the physical harm they are doing to their body don’t have self-respect for themselves as they never feel they are in control. With WFPB, the self-control comes built in with the starch as Dr. John McDougall has said and then we can prove that to ourselves. Now my husband has not been fully with the program but I’ve been cranking up the starch he’s eating. He turns down things he had no control before like snacking on Planters Nuts. Now he’s feeling better too. But he has no desire to return to the richer foods. So, the self-control is built into the starchy foods which is at the center of the diet. I am 70 and walking up to 6 miles a day. And it is not exhausting. It is amazing how much walking tones up even one’s arms and waistline. This is a not a diet, it is the way to live. The other way, was the way of death. I would hate with the rise in the cost of groceries if we were buying all the meat and fish and chicken and pork products we ate. I am no longer a slave to my tastebuds. I get hungry but have time to make us a meal which is on our diet without nibbling as I go. I feel like I own my life instead of being enslaved to addictive tastes than now I find repulsive.
Being a born vegetarian and vegan since age 10, I always admire people who try out plant based food. They are the one who can make huge difference to themselves, families and also, innocent animals out in the world.

Been plant based for a yr and a half. Been smoking for 18 yrs. Still smoking but cutting back. Anyways my blood work came back perfect a few weeks ago, even with me still smoking. So for me eating meat is worse than smoking on my body. No more BP meds as well.
Yes, meat, eggs, and dairy definitely are. And plants are protective against lung cancer, esp. sulforaphane from raw cruciferous. But you should quit because of course smoking is stupid and deadly and could still result in cancer, COPD, heart disease, etc... Plants may be protective but they don't make us invincible :) I use to smoke and quit 15 years ago. My therapist told me he though it was stupid 32 years ago. That stuck in my head and when it was time I just imagined everyone looking stupid that did it and replaced the desire with simply breathing in fresh air. I also didn't tell anyone I quit and that helped me emulate a nonsmoker. You sound like you're cognizant of the need, you're going to rock it! Keep up the great work!

For a long time I wasn’t able to go to 160 lbs & 180-200 seems astronomical. Last week I tried 8 reps of 180, was hyped, did 6 of the 200 lbs. I was just sore the next day, recovery time was short. After 2 days of legs & then my full body workout day came, I went light!
I usually don't tell this story because people believe I am crazy, but because this lady was talking about the fear and anxiety that animals feel before they are killed , I will tell it hear. The reason I became vegetarian in Argentina in 1973, when I was only 17, is because since I was a little kid I had this nightmare often that I was a cow experiencing fear and anxiety and was about to be killed ( I remember this dream still now exactly how it was, because the dream was always the same). One day my mother make me my favorite dish, milanesa con papas fritas (breaded stake with french fries) and as soon I put a piece of that flesh in my mouth, I almost vomit, because I remembered the dream and realize that was a piece of dead animal. To make the story short, since that day I never eat meat again, and I became vegan in 2003 when I found out about how milk extraction was done.I believe that or I was a cow in another life, or I was a butcher, but I never did see in the dream an human, only a black cow suffering from fear and anxiety, and since I stopped eating meat, the nightmare never came back.
Awesome testimony, now officialy started my vegan journey.....thank you for this channel....hope some more update as i always watch this channel, hope i am not too late as i turn to my golden years....

Oh I totally relate to the man that said he felt like a weight was taken off his shoulders when he went vegan....THAT IS SO ME!!! It was a such relief to not have to eat that anymore....💗💗💗💗
@@VeganLinked I have to tell you I’ve been a nurse for over 33 years. I went plant-based back in 2016 till the beginning of 2019. My biggest regret is that I stepped down off the waggon due to social pressures. Never again. Please keep doing what you’re doing. This is so inspirational for me as I don’t have very many people in my life that believe in this lifestyle. None of my friends and that makes it challenging.
@@aplantbasedwife doing all I can. Drove 17 hours to Texas two days ago to get as many interviews as I can over the next 2 and a half weeks. Then Richmond Virginia if everything goes as planned, then Boston to get interviews in route and there, if everything goes right, then Florida, then California, Oregon, etc... Got all kinds of itineraries going! :)
Thank you so much it’s so so so inspiring these testimonies ❤️ . I have been vegan but had health issues ( not enough proteins , albumin , iron in my 🩸 lab) but I have a gastric bypass but was plant based for 3 years this was in 2012 ~2015 but mentally I felt so well. Ever since I try to go back but I know I will I want to . My trigger cheese 🧀 and chicken / 🦃 turkey once a while 😞☹️here in Switzerland but since then the supermarkets have much more tofu , vegan products ( cheese ; substitutes; plant milk and yogourts). My 5 children then were small and were 80% vegetarian unfortunately since they refuse and are Omni . But never less i today know what I have to do for myself and be tolerant and loving we each go on our path at a different rythmin. As I like dates it helps me to give me motivation so 1.1.2021 my date to become plant based. And I m going to go slowly until then. My breakfast are vegan so this week supper vegans and lunches one day after the other. I never stopped plant based yogourts and milk. 🙏💪😍thank you beacause these videos on your chanel help me to be plant based again by 1.1.2021🙂
Thanks for sharing. I hope you can find a plant based physician to work with. You should have perfect labs on a whole food plant based vegan diet. You are right that we all come into this in our own way because most of us weren't raised on a whole food vegan diet. I'm confident you can do this especially with a plant based doctor. Systematically introduce those whole plant foods; beans, greens, grains, fruits, veggies, mushrooms, nuts and seeds into you diet like those in the daily dozen app by nutritionfacts.org. I have some tips on veganlinked.com/govegan as well. Best wishes!
Go vegan for your health, whole food plant based. Go vegan for the animals. Go vegan for the planet. A lower risk of heart disease and cancer for you and a better planet for everyone, human and animals.
Lovely. We have the same sentiment but order things differently, here there is no right or wrong but I say: Go vegan for love, for peace, for the animals, for the planet, for the people, for your health.
Only if you pull from outdated studies looking at ethical vegans who didn't know how to simply eat whole plant foods, like the epic oxford study. B12 comes from bacteria, even omnivores likely benefit from supplementing due to reduced intrinsic factor as they age. Guess where most B12 supplements go David, livestock. But, guess how those animal parts get B12, during the slaughtering process it's cross contaminated with feces. I'll take a simple, efficient, safe, cheap, water soluble cyanocobalamin B12 supplement, easy. Heme-iron comes from animal flesh and oxidizes causing atherosclerosis, plant non heme iron is better regulated. And if you're raised vegan you'll probably have less hepcidine meaning you'll absorb it less. But, David Mack, are you a menstruating woman with a pre-existing condition like fibroids or something causing you to excessively bleed? Or are you a man who doesn't need as much iron? If you're that woman then you can get through this by adding lemon or vinegar or drink a little orange with your dark green leafy's and avoid teas around meal times, worse case you take an iron supplement for your pre-existing condition and had you been raised vegan you wouldn't have had this problem and perhaps a sex change or whatever you have going on...
As for the thousands of anecdotal quacks you have, show them off like I show real people. Interview them and find out how long they were vegan, did they yo yo diet between crazy fasts and raw and juicing and processed foods and so on? They most likely did not they genuinely eat a whole food plant based vegan diet of the variety that the Daily Dozen recommends by Nutrition Facts: beans, greens, grains, fruits, veggies, mushrooms, nuts, seeds, herbs & spices. Did they see a plant based doctor? Because transitioning for some could be a challenge, because let's be honest, not everyone just magically know how to eat properly growing up in this sick culture.
What about the animals that are killed protecting and harvesting your crops? So what do you mean go vegan for the animals? Contradiction at its finest 😵 Your clueless
You are what you eat. Your diet impacts your health. Obesity in children and adults is rising across the world. Eat a healthy plant based diet and exercise regularly. Reduce or ELIMINATE cows milk, eggs, cheese and meat. Eat more salad greens, beans, fruit and vegetables. Eliminate fast food and sugary drinks and juices. Every adult and child should own a bicycle and ride it regularly. Regular exercise will help you sleep better. Yoga is a great stress reducer. Obesity is all too common today. Get off the couch. Get off the phone, ipad or video game. A variety of stretching and other exercises help with increased mobility. Ride to work, ride to school, ride for fun. Every city should be a bicycle city. Speak up for bicycles in your community
And you absorb what you eat, lol. And if you know a couple of tricks you can increase absorption. And if you were raised eating whole plant foods it helps too.
@@gmnotyet If you add citric acid rich foods like lemon or vinegar for example to your dark green leafy's you increase absorption of certain minerals like iron. Adding pepper increases absorption of curcumin. Tannins decrease absorption of iron. Etc...
I've lost about 14 kg (28 pounds, ish) in the past year. There's no way I'd be able to easily pick up a suitcase or bag weighing that much, so how did I even carry that around with me all the time?
It was distributed and so borne by your whole skeleton, unlike lifting a bag one-armed that uses a smaller kinetic chain. Same thing if you add muscle weight.
I've been vegan for 4 weeks now and I'm experiencing a new life a new way of "feeling" it's hard to explain because its the unfamiliar i didnt know this was an option and it all comes down to what we put in our bodies. Everyone should give it a try just do 2 weeks and just see how you feel. Heres my changes most were felt around the 1 week mark -skin cleared up -skin looks more youthful -constant throat clearing has stopped -blurry vision (floaters) gone -all pms symptoms cramps, headaches, anger, sadness, gone -lifetime anxiety completely gone -low moods last 2 years gone -my hair is coming back to life -my teeth are stronger -lost some weight an still losing it -I'm way more positive about life now -energy is high like never before -i feel lite an more alive now -i sleep so deeply now -shoulder an neck pain gone -digestion working properly now -bad body oder gone -feel like my lungs are clearer -no more dry skin -no more suger cravings -no more binge eating Also my kids are seeing a good example now and they too are now eating way more healthily. I'm plant based so I'm eating mostly fruits an vegetables
That's quite a comprehensive list there and I must say it all sounds very familiar! 💚 I used to get sick like twice a year and I'm so glad I don't get sick anymore and it's been like 13 years! I mean I would get bad sick every year it's so crazy how he just vanished. And my visceral fat completely gone that one away quick. You would think we found Miracle drugs but now we just found the miracle of plants and living a simple life
@@VeganLinked it's so crazy right! Everyone's been programmed that it's the next drug that will fix everything but the truth is we need to go back to basics an eat what nature intended. It seems so silly now that my mind is fog free it's obvious our natural body's won't thrive and will actually degrade if we put poisons in it pharmaceuticals and fake foods period. It's so simple we need not to wait for the next new drug to add to our growing collection we need to take stuff away. Stop adding and start taking away. This also includes dairy and meat. Dairy because were do i start it's bad for us in so many ways and meat because for me I don't want to eat dead bodies anymore or their energy fear, anger, torture, sadness etc. Plus if I can't kill it or watch it be killed then that must not be what I'm suppose to eat if it was my mouth should water when I see raw meat. Doctors aren't taught this or told to tell patients this in med school because the truth doesn't make money.
I was diagnosed with stage 4 cancer (colon-liver). The doctor knew I ate plenty of meat, as he asked me prior to my chemo treatments. That was 2014, I struggled to get into vegan lifestyle. Slowly I’d go to a vegetarian lifestyle & suddenly after doing a fast, meat, even a little made me sick. I was 343 pounds, between cancer & chemo, lost plenty of this dead fresh. Today at 64, I’m able to be in the gym 5-6 days a week. I go 4-6 weeks doing this weight lifting & my energy improved slowly as I switched last August to being a vegan. The face vegans are really crazy, I do my own thing. I tell the doctor, she has an odd look on her face, started asking me about “drug use”, I’m like Doc, not eating meat isn’t drug use! She claimed it’s no way I could have great blood test numbers, cholesterol lower than 200(148), weight gone. Now I feel better. I am trying to find my threshold in the gym as of the top weight to lift, pull & more. Today vegan products $78 at the store. Vegan cheese was $15 for 3 packS!
@@lovelove326 my cancer was in 2014, surgery after surgery! I’m still here in 2022! I gained plenty back to go back to 245-255, not smart! Today I’m 178 & a gym rat! 6 days a week I’m in there sweating my you know what off, plus keeping track of calories
The doctor always tell you it runs in your family (like Cholesterol and BP) to write prescriptions. It's not by chance out of the siblings, I am the leanest, healthiest, best blood markers, the oldest (by 12 years), no cholesterol meds, no BP meds, and apparently I am the loose screws as well because I have not eaten animals in years!!
This is just wonderful and ty to all who contributed to it! I am now convinced to go the next step towards my goal to be the person I know I desire to be because I have been back and forth. Mostly due to family pressure but also it was just habit though my health has suffered from it!
Im on my 3rd week of going plant based. I wish i could say that im full of energy, however, my energy just dips and i need to take a nap. Im eating a variety of plants, legumes, oats, tofu. No restriction or overeating. I take vit b12 daily. Would appreciate insights on no energy mid day. ❤
@@Kseniya.Gromova You really seek consult a nutritionist or a dietitian or physician ideally one that practices lifestyle medicine. It might not even be what you're eating. There's some coaches on my website also that might be able to help. Or check American College of Lifestyle medicine. I've never needed any assistance but I've never had any issues.

Yea, It's only been 2 weeks for me and I'm feeling the same thing. I'm loving it.

He definitely lead me to this decision. and you still have animal nutrients stored in your body how ever once they run out deficienty kicks in its all so worth bearing in mind that just becuase your comsume something dooes mean your absorbing the nutrients from those foods which is why 85% of vegans drop out eating meat is the healthiest diet out there if your geting it from a good sourse such as organic grass fed pasture raised

Take peanut out of your diet very moldy food

I haven’t been eating dairy and egg for 2 years but after watching this video i decided to go vegan.
@zdrave4277 Two years later, how do you feel now?

Beautiful! How long have you been vegan?
It’s true I feel great at 55 before I was sick as a dog . I’m happy today
I changed my “label” to plant-based or vegetarian just so people don’t say, “I thought you said…“
Vegans are hard on vegans. It’s not a contest! It’s a fantastic life decision in terms of animal welfare, the environment, and your own personal health.
I am still very confused over some nutritionist/doctor research. Grains good or bad? Olive oil good or bad? Nuts good or bad?
People are hard on people and vegans are still people. And most vegans I know are easy to get along with on any level.
Thanks so much for watching and commenting candidly ❤!

Stepped out of the matrix, now I live in the real vegan world 🌎
Great video! Let's get the word out as much as possible about the benefits of the whole food plant based diet! 👍🏼
Excellent, thanks for sharing!

@@VeganLinked the reason why doctors dont want you know so can get on medication. Doctors and Scientists was programmed keep us sick not well. That's why they say its diet when is lifestyle.

Contradiction at its finest 😵

@@VeganLinked Uhh, no, that is the whole point. For example, you absorb only 20% of the cholesterol that you eat.
@@gmnotyet I don't eat cholesterol, plants have phytosterol and I absorb 0% of it.

Oh wow may I ask your remedies
So how is your diagnosis? How much weight did you lose? I was waiting for you to close with those results. 😊
@@MrLee4love WOW!!! Bless you sir! Keep on keeping on & thank you for sharing! 💕
Excellent video, thank you all so much! My only regret about going plant based is not doing it sooner. 🙏🏼👏🏼🙌❤️💛🖤💚🌎
love the lady holding and petting a chicken in her lap. Chickens are some of my best friends.
Screw it!!! After I'm recovered from this stroke it's vegan for me from now on!!!
Awesome video, Jeff and Vegan Linked! You rock!
The lady petting the chicken like a lap dog is goals
Love this compilation!! ❤️✌️💪🐮🐷🐥🦃🦆🦊🐒🐑🐟🌱🍌🫐🍎🥦🌎☮️
I enjoyed this video I’ve been a vegan for 4 years
This is just wonderful and ty to all who contributed to it! I am now convinced to go the next step towards my goal to be the person I know I desire to be because I have been back and forth. Mostly due to family pressure but also it was just habit though my health has suffered from it!
Awesome to hear! I'm editing the second series now, so lots more to come ❤
Thank you for this video 🤗🤗🥰
Katya is great 🧡 Had the opportunity to meet her at a NC VegFest in 2019.
It might be more when you're eating or other lifestyle behaviors. Maybe contact Physicians committee for responsible medicine. I think they have some coaches. There's some coaches on my website also that might be able to help. Or check American College of Lifestyle medicine. I've never needed any assistance but I've never had any issues. But if I did I would do what I'm suggesting. My doctor is a lifestyle medicine practitioner. But I never need to see her. If you want to talk more about it send me a message via my website contact form veganlinked.com/contact.
@@VeganLinked thank you for responding! Even my homeopath responded on the side of caution when I told him I went vegan 😅 I'm not even considering contacting a nutritionist, as I don't want to be lectured on the standard protein, carb, fiber intake. I suppose I could get blood work done to see if there are any deficiencies.
@@Kseniya.Gromovathat's why I suggested a lifestyle medicine practitioner. A lifestyle medicine practitioner understands nutritional science and is more likely to be vegan or at least whole Food plant-based. And that's only if you're having difficulties...
