There are currently SEVEN (7) shows in development, and one was recently cancelled, costing HBO over $30 million! Stay tuned to the end for details on this Game of Thrones blunder by HBO.

@@aegonbreakspear9102 we pretty much know what happens in house of the dragon yet after the first 5 episodes it’s been amazing! Roberts rebellions would be amazing too! I now don’t doubt a prequel would falter.
A spin off about Robert's rebellion, and another one about Aegon's conquest would be incredible!

It's crazy how populated and detailed the world of ice and fire is. There is material for literally hundreds of shows.

there is a reason why grrm is so praised by many people not just fans of books or show but even critics and writters. he is our generation tolkien, no other writters created that vast and aeons of lore in such detail

@@xser4321 tolkien is legendary he is first to create that high fantasy lore, most even grrm were inspired cause of his works. but grrm really cemented himself in same league as tolkien, there is no doubt tolkien will always be first and original, but i really love grrm world building, in many ways even more than tolkien. grrm universe is so realistic if we talk about no plot armor characters, it feels like real world where everyone can die, tolkien loved heroism and happy ending in end, grrm is not afraid to kill anyone, to make his universe feel closer to realty of unexpected

A prequal of Aegon Targaryen and his Conquest of westeros along his wife-sisters would be epic or a spin off about the fall of Valyria another interesting one is the journey of Aerea Targaryen and her ill fated journey with the dragon Balerion the black dread and horrors she brought on herself

Anything GRRM related i'll watch. But I have to say a tv show titled Robert's Rebellion... I'd go mental. I'd love to see that from the tourney where Rhaegar gives the flowers to Lyanna istead of Elia, to the burning of Ned's brother and father and the lost battle against Randyl Tarly. All the way to the battle of the Trident. I'd go absolutely nuts

And you cant fuck it up since the whole story is written out for them alrdy just have to shoot it and produce it would love to see a show about the rebellion. Bloodmoon also sounded good but I guess it needed to much new material and lore to be created by grrm and he's to busy writing winds to be doing that right now. Bless his heart and beautiful mind for creating this wonderful world for us. still hard to grasp one man created this entire universe

I love HOTD and I’m all for more spinoff content but I really hope some of these are just limited series with a planned ending. We don’t need a bunch of long form GOT spin-offs all airing at once. Keep it short and simple. I mean some of these could just be simplified into films or the ideas can be combined together
I know they probably will never do it because of astronomical budget, but I would love to see a series about Doom of Valyria!!

I don’t see how you can draw that conclusion, the cgi budget for these shows is already astronomical and I’ve seen several disaster movies that pulled stuff like that off on a similar budget. If Amazon can do the Downfall and destruction of Numenor in Tolkiens world surely HBO can do the doom of Valyria in George’s world. Unlike Amazon they already have massive profits from this franchise.
actually seeing how lotr ring of power pulled their show , i think its possible to hope for valyria spinoff. elvish and numenor worlds are made fantastic parts cgi parts real decor, and knowing what mandalorian was built with new techs of unreal engines , i think its not that expensive
to be completely fair they could show the doom of valyria in the first season of a Aegons conquest show

I'm more anticipated for the Jon Snow show as it could possibly help fix issues with GOT Season 8. As long as it gives us more insight on the White Walkers and the 3 Eyed Raven. Hopefully not everything is as it seems in Season 8. Also it would be good to finally meet Howland Reed that for some reason never showed up in the final seasons.
Damn, yeah if there’s a way to make season 8 justifiable retroactively. It would be super complex to fix, but I suppose it could be done, maybe.

I don't know how I can take any events after the ending of season 8 seriously. I hope you're right though and the Jon Snow show does clear up some of that mess.

A blackfyre rebellion prequel would be brilliant. The war stories from those times are incredible.

They could actually just morph House of the Dragon into Blackfryre. After the events of the Dance of Dragons. They could pick up with the Blackfryre rebellion
Nymeria’s conquest would be very interesting. Also the Golden Empire of the Dawn and the first Long Night would be interesting but I’d want George to write more material about it first.

Hell Yeah! A spin of about Robert's Rebellion would be awesome. I think it would be very cool to see the infamous mad king and all his heinous acts on screen. Imo this has the potential to be really great (besides, more Robert and Tywin is always very much appreciated).

Dunk and Egg is probably the best story out of all.
I would love to see Robert’s rebellion because of the existing material Martin wrote.. the problem with most of these spin-offs is the fact that the less depth has the original story written by the author the more the show runners have to write.. Looking back to what D&d did with the seasons of GOT with no books backing the screenplay I wouldn’t suggest going in a direction without any roadmap.. so.. Robert’s rebellion: super yes! Other than that.. Idk..

House Dayne would have a decent part to play in Ten Thousand Ships, although not right away.
Roberts Rebellion would actually be interesting, instead of Flea Bottom lol
I think the "Snow" series should be essentially the last 3 seasons we need to tie up the Original.
I have a feeling King Bran is actually evil.

The Flea Bottom spin off best follow the story of Karl Tanner from fookin Gin Alley
Roberts Rebellion is what we need to see
I want to see a show that covers Ned younger years as a kid up until Jon is born and Kings Landing is taken and it ends with Ned handing Jon to his wife
I kinda really hoped they'd continue with season 9, rather than a spin-off.
other than that there's 3 stories I'm dying to watch in live action:
Children of the Forest vs Mankind
Aegon's Conquest
Robert's Rebellion
and from a new perspective, I would've loved to see Arya become a Pirate Queen of sorts.
and maybe a historical anthology series for every Great House, like House of the Dragon. (which might even be the best way possible to create a vibrant television universe)
don't really see the potential with a Snow spin-off. What's he gonna do beyond the wall? become king? join all clans? find reasonable places to live? that's basically what Mance did..
unless he suddenly finds Drogon, or vice versa, and that Targaryen blood starts boiling and he gets a "you know, ruling isn't all that bad" moment and decides to turn around and conquer Westeros. maybe Bran and Sansa are murdered and that's what motivates him. idk, literally see no other road they could take with this spin-off. I mean, they're beyond the wall, so it's safe to assume that it's full Antarctica filming, seems like a stretch, doesn't it?
We already know most of what happened during Robert's Rebellion. I wanna see a Flea Bottom series with young Davos. Title suggestion: "Onion Knight origins."

Aegon’s Conquest
Would be good if they make a series of how Valyria fell and how the Targaryens came into power.

I would've liked to watch the conquest of Westeros by Aegon and his sisters, The Blackfyre Rebellion, Robert's Rebellion, etc. But I feel like the Dance of Dragons was a perfect choice...it was house Targaryen at its peak with all these huge dragons and monetary power. It was perfect but they seem to be rushing the story with all these time jumps
robert rebelion and aegon conquest are two of most wished spinoffs i can think of, but major thing grrm must be heavily involved in creating it, cause we seen what happens when he leaves it all to writters....

I would love to see a spin off of a young Tywin Lannister, too many people see him as a villain it'd be great to see his backstory shown on screen.

Am I the only one who’s hyped af for 10,000 ships?? Forget Westeros and its petty squabbles, we get to see firsthand the mythical lands of Sothoryos and the Basilisk Isles, Naath and the Summer isles, and who knows-maybe we get to see Yeen or Toad isle, the dinosaurs and the butterfly disease. I mean it sounds absolutely fucking insane and they could add SO much more to the lore. Absolutely stoked.

A BloodRaven show is a MUST, and would definitely be successful show. I also would love to see a Hightower spinoff, especially all throughout the history of Westoros. Something showing how the Masters are the reason why the dragons are gone.
Heres an idea: A sitcom in which Georgie and a squad infiltrate the HBO HQ to steal the copy of the OG pilot and the Bloodmoon pilot while listening to the flute version of the Mission Impossible theme. That'd be both epic and comedic right?

10000 ships sounds amazing but they should start from the war between Valyria and the ryhona people, lots of dragons and magic it will be amazing

I would love to see the start and birth of rhe white walkers and the battles that ensue and how the og's actually subdued them back into the ice. Anyone with me on the pilot being taken out of storage and shown to a test audience 🙂
Would love to have seen how Blood Moon came out. Love Ms. Watts acting (and looks). Too bad about that. Some of these other sound much more reasonable as one-season limited series, like Disney does some of theirs. In fact, all except the present House of the Dragon and the Roberts Rebellion seem more much like one-season limited series options than full-blown multi-season series.

I don't get everyone's obsession with Robert's Rebellion or Aegon's Conquest. We know literally everything that happens in these already, and there's nothing in particular about them that's surprising (that we don't already know, like Jon's heritage). Everything we needed to know has been said already.
I'd be much more excited for a story that explores the wider world of A Song of Ice and Fire, 10,000 ships sounds much more interesting than a spin off based on a story that literally takes place over just about one year and we already know all the outcomes of.

Yeah, Arya turned into a real badass. Was a little disappointed she wasn’t highlighted more in the last seasons of GoT. Arya spin-off would be really cool!

Personally I'd like to see a series that doesn't involve Westeros at all. A show that finally gives us a look at Asshai and other nations in Essos. No Targaryens either since we already have 2 series about them. Perhaps a Braavosi series based on the faceless men and how they came to be and that could be how we get to see all the different parts of Essos because they get hired to assassinate all over the continent.

Lets go !!!! Brianne of Tarth has Jamie’s baby . The rise of the Lannister’s . Danareous Targaryan comes back to life , Drogo takes her to The Red Temple when The Red Women bring her back to life . She goes after John Snow . Sansa has Ramsey’s kid and he grows up to be a jerk . Lol
I know that the White Walkers don’t matter now but we need a spin-off for the Others taken place a couple of thousands years ago.

They should adapt one of those stories to an open world RPG game.
I hope SNOW shows the rest of westeros and King Bran. It would be cool to see a war between the crown and the iron bank of braavos because of the money they lent during the later seasons of GOT. Bran and Tyrion would argue the iron throne no longer exists and all loans wouldn't hold, there's so much they could do with a sequel of GOT, including the lands "WEST OF WESTEROS" arya explored maybe kickstarting a westerosi "age of exploration" and seeing westeros going from feudalism to empire. Also jon snows true origins of being targaryen and him eventually taking the crown towards the end

Robert's Rebellion would be way more amazing for me than Flea Bottom. Flea Bottom can feature in that prequel, to provide richness and interesting pick-pocket original characters. :)

Andal Invasion. It would be like Last Kingdom, but instead of, Celts, Britons, Saxons and Vikings. It would be Children of the Forest, First Men and Andals.

"A Knight of the Seven Kingdom" has a good ring to it but it is a mouthful to pronounce. I would hope Dunk & Egg will be the final title. I'm bummed that we won't get a long night live series. I was really hoping we'd get to see how Westeros would look 8000 years before GOT. That said I understand why they didn't move ahead since it was very expensive and it didn't feel like the Westeros we know. If the YI tI animated series works out, I hope they'll go back and consider doing the Long Night animation style. Also, someone from HBO has to be brave enough to leak the pilot episode of Bloodmoon and GOT. I wanna see what they were working with
Blood moon makes so much more sense than sea snake or any of the prequels.
I mean it does makes sense with a kind of origin story of the world. But the pressure to be working with so little material of a so immensely complex world. Everything would have to have a logical explanation I feel like

I hope they haven't totally abandoned the idea, I'd really like to see it, was told we'll see the wall built, the hero who drove back the White Walker's the first time, Lann the Clever, etc.

Not sure how the Sea Snake has a rumored spin off, when we have just been introduced to him. I could think of SEVERAL more characters from the GOT universe that deserve a spinoff before the Sea Snake.
What is the point of locking away the episode if you have already spend time, money and effort.
Just release that one damn episode and let the public decide it's fate.
Dunk and Egg is only like 30% done though and probably won’t ever be done. I think George has given up and writing books and is just going to work on his shows now.
As long as its actually following source materiel and not just winging it like the last seasons of GOT, they'll probably be good.
Dunk and Egg and Roberts Rebellion ought to be at the forefront of the spin offs
I would just love for at some point for there to be a bunch of series that complete the entire timeline of the books serie

i think what i would be most excited about is show about blackfyre rebellions. i listened summary of dunk and egg stories, there is quite detailed and entertaining events that would give us very similar feelings with game of thrones
another interesting show idea that i am very suprised not mention here is story about old valryia and events of doom. what happened there and why it happened? how was the valryians?
and lastly i am eager to learn about prophecies of azor ahai, stallion who mounts the world, prince who was promised etc. there are strangely identical, perhaps have same roots. what is their long night and big bad villains? find odd that threat of white walkers are only threat to westerosi. but perhaps projects like yi ti or sea snake or ten thousand ships can get into detailes about this
I think a show about Jon Snow would reveal at least one thing- that NOT all of the white walkers are dead..........perhaps the ones turned into White Walkers by the night king that were craster's sons somehow survived/were uneffected/too young and were not killed/exempt the chain reaction involving the night king's death. Also the issue of him being the true heir to the Iron Throne.
All I want to see is Roberts rebellion!!! I would love to see some of the original actors come back for cameos at the end or something
